Logitech G Saitek X52 Pro Flight Control System plus farm sim controllerMany years ago I owned a Saitek controller, I used that for a very long time until new technology rendered it obsolete. I can remember being very pleased with it at the time. I have also owned several Logitech products over the years which again I've been pleased with. When I was offered this Logitech G Saitek X52 Pro Flight Control System, I was more than curious to check it out.When the package arrived it came in a monster box, everything within the box was well packaged keeping everything secure & well protected. I've owned several steering wheels over the years along with pedals & flight controllers,but never a loader control which has an amazing amount of buttons, plus other controlsThere were no instructions within the box but connectivity was easy to work out. I do tend to feel comforted when detailed instructions are included even if setup is obviously easy. When there are none it feels as if something is missing or the manufacturer just couldn't be bothered.The wheel is much the same as many other wheels although this one does have the addition of a small ball mounted on top which makes steering with one hand very easy indeed, much the same as you would find on many tractors or plant machinery. There are two mini thumb joysticks along with two joypad type controls (one of each either side of the wheel). The desk clamp appears very strong, it opens up quite wide, once in place you tighten it onto the desk using a large wind up plastic bolt.The wheel has a single USB cable that plugs into a USB port on your computer. There is a further cable provided that plugs into the side of the wheel, this cable in turn plugs into the pedal board. The wheel looks well made when compared to other wheels that I've owned, the plastic used is much the same too.The pedal board contains two pedals, they are mounted at a comfortable height. These do have a bit of a cheap look to them, the main body seems solid enough but the plastic on the pedals seems a little bit bendy, but they do look as if they are up to the job provided they are not treated too roughly. They do appear to be made from strong ABS plastic which usually can take a fair bit of abuse. The pedals are responsive, the up down pressure feels stiff enough to feel realistic but not so stiff that it causes your foot to ache over time.The loader control again is quite a solid unit with the same type of desk clamp as the steering wheel. This also has a single USB cable which plugs into your computer. A total of two spare USB ports on your computer are required for this set. The loader control has a mass of buttons, rocker switches, joystick with buttons plus a rotating wheel. I must admit it does all look a little confusing.All components seem to be made from the same material. The wheel & loader control just look to be finished off a little neater than the pedal board.In Use:I clamped both steering wheel plus the loader control to my desk, both clamped on very securely indeed without any movement whatsoever. The pedal-board being quite compact sat on the floor nicely at my feet. I then proceeded to download & install the free game which was Farming Simulator 19. I connected both USB cables then checked my windows 10 settings, all had been recognised, loaded & ready for use. I entered the game tweaked the options, then proceeded to play. The wheel, loader & pedals were all setup ready to use within the game. I must admit I was a bit lost for a while trying to get my head around what control did what.All buttons & controls seemed to have a function within the game, each button & control was responsive & instantly recognised by the game. The button presses were easy, plus they were also positive. Over the years I have driven many tractors & heavy machinery, I feel the steering response of the wheel in this game was spot on, there was nothing over sensitive about it at all. You do need to turn the wheel quite a way before the machinery begins to turn, just as I remember it to be. I do feel they have this set spot on in my opinion. The steering also feels quite heavy, which is what you would expect on real machinery, they do not drive like a car. Granted I have never driven modern machinery so that may now feel totally different?I'm very please with what I received, also by it's performance. For me this set does give a realistic feel to driving & operating the farm machinery within that particular game. I haven't yet tried this in a racing sim or truck sim but I'm sure there are adjustments that can be performed to tweak the wheel to suit.Yes, this does have a little bit of a plastic feel to it on the pedal board, but for what you get in the set, plus the extra enjoyment it brings to a game, I think it's well worth purchasing - Highly recommended!Contents -1 x Steering wheel1 x Loader Control1 x Pedal board1 X Free game downloadIf you have found my review at all helpful I would very much appreciate if you could click the ' Helpful ' button below, thank you.

First of I would say this is a great product for EST2 MP, also but yesterday my steering wheel died for no reason no usb port recognize it. I did some tests moving the wheel left and right and windows found the wheel and pedals again. so I guess there's a short. I went a head a brought a new one but the down side is I had to buy the bundle since they don't do the steering wheel and pedals solo.Andy

Although this is geared towards Farm Simulator, I wanted a more realistic set-up for playing OMSI 2 Bus Simulator. This bundle supports the game extremely well and I couldn't be happier! I haven't found any particular issues with the steering wheel or pedals and the side panel is absolutely brilliant. I can't find a fault with the bundle and would highly recommend you get the same when playing OMSI!

Bought this for my wife's farming simulator game ( I have it too ), she been struggling with driving her tractor and farm machines via keyboard, so decided to treat her to this steering pack and she is loving it! Its transformed her game play and less crashing of her tractor :) . its to early to say about durability and reliability but its great fun to use.

An essential add-on that lets you experience driving and operating farm machinery and lorries in a much more realistic way. As well as the wheel and pedals, the buttons and controls work as expected.It's been used extensively for several weeks now and performs well. No glitches or problems. Logitech has of course been supplying tech for some years now.

Works out the box for Farming Sim 19 and although it's not stated this works with Euro Truck 2 just fine.Either game might need some tweaking for the deadzone and button remapping for ETS2 but FS19 is a completely different game with the wheel. Front loaders work a dream with the attached side panel lever.(Also so good I bought a second for a friend)

Purchased this for use with farm sim and euro truck sim 2, absolutely brilliant. Shame it doesn't have feed back through the wheel for a bit more realism when driving. The foot pedals have a heal rest to stop it sliding on wooden floors. Superb compatibility with farm sim (as you would expect) needs a bit of setting up in euro truck sim 2.

Very nice product for farming simulator it’s a very easy to use steering wheel , pedals and panel I am very happy with my purchase and my partner is over the moon with his Christmas present he use it all the time with his pc and we would recommend to friends and family

It take lot learn of driving with that set of steering wheel and lot of butons, but I didn't regret of this purchase. I use this set for euro truck simulator at all but I use panel with buttons for IL sturmovik and it work well

Great product for gaming. Decent quality. I returned the combo and just bought the console as I needed a wheel for other games and the bundled one is really only good for Truck/Farm games. I used it on PS4. Used for Farm Sim.

Works great on my PS4 for FS19. Some buttons don’t work but it depends on what vehicle you drive. Some have special functions that only work in certain vehiclesRequires 2 x USB ports into PS4
