The package is well designed, strong box too and the headphones come in an anti static bag. There are braided wires on the console/pc wire, pc splitter, detachable mic and the USB external soundcard. The volume, mic and mute button are all on the cable itself, which can also be clipped into place on your shirt etc. This cable is roughly 3 and a half mm.You have the cable splitter for the pc so that you can use both inputs for the microphone and headset. The microphone itself is detachable and has plenty of give in what position you would like to put it. The foam piece on the tip feels very secure on there. These are very nicely lightweight which is surprising for the materials used and the depth of how some things are made for extra comfort. The ear pads are actually oval shaped,so your ear fits perfectly in there. I have small ears but my partner has large ears and his fit in rather well too. This keeps the ear fully comforted and fully surrounded by the pad and speaker.Where you adjust the headpiece up or down there is a little measuring guide so you can get it exactly the same level on each side.Instead of just a wire hanging either side there is a spring loaded wire, which makes it more durable and really ties in with the design of the headphones nicely. The ear piece, hinges and headband are all aluminium. The outside of the ear pads are silicone and on the outside are leatherette. The headband and ear pads are extremely comfortable. These are also made up of memory foam, which is completely obvious when wearing, they really give off the best comfort I've had before in headphones. With the headband also being so padded, they gave, obviously so much comfort but also made them feel a lot more secure on top of your head. That, along with how great the ear pads are too, even when I had it half up half down it didn't fall. As I played my games even moving my head quickly they never moved at all.The stitching on the headband is done very well, no lose threads or irregular lines at all.The comfort and design of these are just fantastic. The design is brilliantly engineered, they feel and look the part of professional headphones. The headphone sound test. First of all I tested these on my phone. Whilst they do go quite loud, there was no 'too loud' with how it could go and not much bass at all. Still, it was a very crisp, pitch perfect sound and worked very good in all. Just possibly could be a littler louder. Then I tested on my amp from my pc speakers. The sound really made a huge difference then and really came alive! The sound quality was definitely generated better through the amp. There is, on the box, an advisory stating that you could purchase separately, a stereo headset adapter, which therefore this would give you the best quality you can get from the Xbox. The microphone test. This microphone works amazingly. It really gives the listener a very crisp and perfectly clear sound. There were no bad signals at all. No interference of any kind. This definitely seems very suited to those who play a lot of online interactive games. There are no pre charge to these they are ready to go.Overall.These are amazing. Definitely worth the money. For under a £100 I think these are an absolute bargain for how good they are.The sound quality will always be amazing when used with the amp but they're still very good when used without. For gamers, I would definitely recommend theheadset adapter for the best quality though.I love that they have an advisory for how long you should be typically using them for depending on how loud you have them.I think you could easily fall asleep in these they are that comfortable. But also because you definitely feel safe because they seem very durable. The microphone is brilliant, perfe t sound. The comfort, design, the build and how well it all works just really seems worth every penny.I would definitely recommend these 100%Edit to say I now own this pair and the G Pro XBuild quality is very unique and beautifully designed. Whilst being very similar to the lower G Pro model there are differences. The ear pieces are perfectly shaped for all ear types, completely surrounding the ear within them, which ultimately gives better sound. There are spare ear pieces so you can choose your comfiest. I prefer the memory foam leatherette pads which come pre attached. The spare ones are a soft foam type material which are still quite good but personally not as comfortable for me. There is more of a blue tinge to the accents on the ear pieces and then there is the silicone type material. The headpiece is made up of memory foam and quite effortlessly stitched either side neatly. The headset feels extremely comfortable and secure. There is a measuring guideline where you can adjust the headpiece height which gives you a perfect level each side. The mobile cable with button is a silicone type material where as the pc splitter, console/pc cable and USB soundcard cable are all braided wires making them more durable. These are quite flexible. The detachable microphone wire is made up of a flexible plastic type of material which you can very easily manouver into a position of your choice. If you're using pc for these headphones I definitely recommend downloading the additional software called blue voice. You will have an accessible Logitech G Hub app. With blue voice teamed up with these logitech headphones, they together create the most incredible sound for speakers and microphone. With the headphones you can completely customise your own sound. Using pre sets, which are also customisable, depending on which media platform you are using you can customise each pre set suited to what you need them for. Using the equaliser you can create your own, personal suited sound quality. With the microphone, still using the pc. You can again completely customise the sound coming through. You can play with input and output, you can have it suited to what you need it for. Example even FM radio sound! You can tweak each pre set and test them out in live play before saving and keeping that one. You can also use noise reduction which was actually quite good. When used on the Xbox, I recommend buying the stereo adapter if you choose these headphones. This will make sure you get the utmost quality from them. Whilst still they sound very good compared to a lot of others, you can clearly hear the difference if you use the adapter. The microphone quality is very good, yet obviously not as top grade quality as on the pc.Overall.So for Xbox/PlayStation console gamers, honestly I would say the Logitech G Pro model would be sufficient enough. For pc gamers, this G Pro X model is definitely the obvious choice as it comes with all the extras like, extra ear pads, better software, 7.1 surround which is not supported by consoles and more.Would definitely recommend for pc gamers I would say they may be the best out there for that platform.

I have been in possession of the Logitech G PRO X for just over a month and can report back that this is a great all round headset for ALL scenarios. I have used various headsets over the years aimed at gamers and therefore I feel like I am experienced enough to offer an educated appraisal. To start with ill discus general operation and what comes in the box. The Logitech G PRO X comes with the leatherette ear-pads already attached and with all the accessories you will need to get the most out of the headset in the box, including:Foam ear-padsUSB External sound cardDetachable boom mic2m cable with inline volume and muteMobile cable with buttonY splitter for separate mic and headphone portsCarrying bagIf you’re on the go you can attach the Mobile cable to the headset, this has an in-line microphone with a single button for playing/pausing music and answering/ending calls. When you’re at the house you will have various options depending on what situations you want to use this headset in. If you are planning on using the headset with a gaming console you simply attach the provided boom mic and 2m cable (with inline volume and mute), plug the cable into your controller and your good to go. If you’re using the headset with a PC simply pop the USB soundcard into a USB port on your setup and plug the headset into that, the USB soundcard will help you to get the most out of this headset on your PC and is the key to the BLUE voice settings. If you already have a soundcard you would prefer to use on your PC or have an external mixer for your gaming console/PC then you can use the included Y splitter to split the cable to headphones out/microphone out.The build quality on this headset is fantastic; it’s a seriously rugged piece of work. While I have been in possession of the G PRO X I was certainly not gentle with it, I have an active lifestyle and the things got banged about. Everything still works the way it should, no scratches and no dents. I also switched the ear-pads out, both are very comfortable and serve different functions. The leatherette pads are for a more “closed” sound, you will not be able to head what’s going on outside these cans when these are attached, the proved a thumpier bass and will seal everything up. The cloth ear pads will provide less sweat if you’re prone to it, have a more “open” sound (a more balanced soundstage) and you will be able to hear better what’s going on outside of the cans. My only minor gripe with the G PRO X, is that if you have a larger head then they can start to feel slightly tight if you have been wearing them for multiple hours; now to be clear we are talking upwards of 5 hours.I have tried the headset out on all the above scenarios; I used it as my day to day out and about headset for listening to music and taking calls. The quality when taking calls is crystal clear on both ends, there is nothing fiddly about doing this and it’s all very intuitive.I have also used this headset attached directly to a home gaming console’s controller. The sound is excellent and better than most other headsets I have tried for home consoles. You a very clean balanced sound stage from these cans, the bass is very defined but not overpowered, the mids are clean and the highs are well defined. Playing competitive FPS games you are easily able to determine where an enemy’s location is via sound, their footsteps give them away.I have used the included Y splitter and ran the headset into an external multi-channel mixer that also had my game console into this. This is a more complicated set-up for the budding audio enthusiast, but the headset succeeded very well in this scenario.I have also tested the headset on the PC with the provided USB Soundcard. You will need to download some software/drivers to get this all to work effectively but it is well worth it. There are options for the layman and if you want to open it up, there are plenty of options for the more advanced users (compressors/limiters/etc for voice and EQ /etc for sound). This is really where the headset shines and where you will truly hear what Logitech has put into the G PRO X headset to make it rise above the competition. You can hear with pinpoint accuracy where multiple sounds are at any given moment and really push this headset to its limits. All in all this really is a great headset, and I’m talking from experience, you can use it in virtually any situation and it will shine, it seems to have been made for everyone. I’m very happy with the headset and will be looking at more products from Logitech in the future. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The first thing you notice about this headset is the packaging. A sleek matte black box that will certainly look the part if you have purchased this as a gift. On opening everything is snuggly contained and arrayed pleasingly.I'm not really in to multi-player online gaming but I do listen to a lot of music through my PC. So initial tests were through my standard set up on a relatively creaky Zoostorm PC and only involved listening rather than transmitting. The 3.5mm jack fits smoothly into the head set and feels as secure as a connection as my previous Sony headset that had the wire built in. I was worried that being a jack configuration you could accidentally disconnect yourself if you caught the wire but it is nice and snug.Cable length is pretty good - certainly long enough to plug in at the front of the tower, run along the side of it and then up the back of the computer desk and out under the front of the monitor with enough play to be able to sit comfortably relaxed whilst wearing the headset. Nice braided finish to the outer of the cable too rather than a rubberised finish. Although I would have preferred a longer cable I am sure I will eventually get used to not having a massive 3 metre to play with. The headset itself is weighty, you can really tell these are reinforced. I was worried that these would become uncomfortable during extended wear due to the weight but the other half wore them for 4 hours straight last night and reported back that they were still comfortable. Nicely padded on the earpieces and the headstrap. Easy to adjust to your head size and fit snuggly.Sound reproduction is good, better than I anticipated actually. We listen to a lot of rock and heavy metal and have got used to sound loss particularly on the bass end. The first thing I noticed was how rich the bass sounded through these. They also enclose the ears so well that there is little sound bleed through from your surroundings. More importantly, there is little sound bleed out from the headphones in to the rest of the room. I am used to having to keep turning the sound bar up when watching my programming or films as the other half listens to music due to sound bleeding from his headphones into the room. This was blessedly missing last night and I was actually able to reduce my volume and still be able to listen in comfort whilst he listened to music. Unfortunately it does mean I need to physically grab him to get his attention rather than just bellowing as you genuinely cannot hear anything around you whilst wearing them. Win Win all around really. So, no use for the microphone for us. However, our son is a big online gamer, plays with a couple of lads from an Esports league (they always hand him his derriere when they play). Passed him this to have a little play with last night to test the microphone. He liked the fact it was a gooseneck rather than a fixed mic and also reported that it was much comfier in wear than his current headset. He is LOUD in normal conversation and even more so when in the throes of battle so his friends all have him set to 25% on their setups. Apparently they had to turn him down to 20% to preserve their hearing when using this headset. Being cruel I made him give this back. The volume control on the cable is a nice touch. Initially I thought this would just work for the mic (like the cheapo ones we use at work) but no, it works for the overall volume. Even when turned to the off position they do a good job of blocking external noise with everything being dulled to an almost underwater distance.Surprisingly pleased with the build and sound quality and very happy with the comfort. Durability should be good due to the steel construction.THIS IS AN HONEST REVIEW OF A COMPLIMENTARY PRODUCT RECEIVED VIA AMAZON (THANK YOU).

I’ve spent much time researching gaming headsets: reading the many reviews; watching the numerous video reviews, touting how wonderful a certain product is, followed by the comments not exactly corroborating the reviewer’s enthusiastic commentary. I bought one headset based on the adulation thrown down on it by a number of positive reviews only to return them in disgust wishing I’d adhered to the negative feedback. Thankfully, Amazon is wonderful at accepting returns...I’ll be honest; Logitech hadn’t figured highly in my hotlist of gaming headset manufacturers. Don’t get me wrong; I love their products, and I own a superb webcam, mouse and keyboard. It was on the off-chance that I looked at these, based on a friend’s recommendation of his experience of Logitech gaming headsets (he owned a different model, but pointed me in the right direction, thankfully). Satisfied by the praise and largely positive/5 out-of-5 reviews, I took the plunge and purchased these from Amazon. The item arrived much sooner than anticipated (thanks, Amazon!), and I was curious, if not, a little indifferent about what I would expect to find and hear. The packaging and presentation of the headset inspired confidence that what was enclosed was of a high quality. With the contents fully unpacked, it was clear that Logitech had produced something truly exceptional and worth the modest price tag.The headset feels of a very high build quality, definitely surpassing what you’d expect for this price bracket. There are several attachments, and ear pads, accompanied by a nice bag to ferry the headset and said accessories in. The clamping force is reassuring and comfortable, and I didn’t have to worry about the headset slipping off. The headset was very comfortable and I can imagine long gaming sessions not to be marred by a sore cranium. The headset doesn’t have any functional switches on the ear cups, enforcing the desired minimalistic design, other than the inline volume control dial, and mute switch. I find this design very pleasing and it means not having to scramble around with your hands looking to flick a switch, or adjust a dial mounted on an ear cup - this can be so distracting in-game.Now in a state of excitement, but still reserving my judgement, I plugged the headset in to my PlayStation 4 Pro. I didn’t make any adjustments to the audio quality using Logitech’s software, which by the way, offers a myriad of customisation to both sound and mic. The out-of-the-box audio was stunning! I could tell from the off that this headset meant business and I was in for an audible feast. The sound is extremely well balanced, the soundstage vibrant, the bass punchy and present. I played CoD: Modern Warfare Remastered, and the headset breathed a new dimension into the game for me. As cliche as it sounds, I really could hear details not heard before, and I felt I was at an advantage now.I am someone with very high expectations, and I can honestly say that this product meets and surpasses them in many respects. If you’re a little put off by the price, I’d say, take the plunge and invest in a high-quality, worth-every-penny product. I doubt you’ll regret it.

Microphone – The ‘arm’ of the microphone is very flexible and can be put into many different positions. The build quality is good on both the arm and the foam around the microphone and it being detachable is great. My voice sounds clear with the Blue Voice technology disabled, but enabling it makes it even better. There is no crackling to be heard, breathing cannot be noticed and sounds other than the user of the headset are not present. There is also adjustments that can be made to the Lows, Mids and Highs of the microphone along with others such as Noise Reduction.Sound – The surround sound from the headphones works well. You can easily tell where sounds are coming from whilst in a game, whether it be directly behind your or slightly to the side. There is lots of bass that’s sounds great when in games, but not so great when listening to music as it overwhelms other sounds. Voices in games sound good, but can also be muffled by the bass at times if there is something else going on within the scene. There is an equalizer within the Logitech software where you can either make your own profile or use the ones provided. The provided ones are either made by Logitech, or you can download profiles made by others users. This definitely helped with reducing the bass and made voices a lot clearer and easier to understand. You can also adjust the volume for each of the surround speakers. So if sounds behind you were too loud, you can reduce them.Build quality and comfort – The headset itself is made of rubberised plastic and metal. The plastic is rigid and does not bend anywhere on the headset. The brushed metal on the side is a nice touch and the metal between the headband and earcups is strong. There is plenty of adjustment for the headband to fit people with larger heads, as it is very flexible. The earcups also tilt vertically to better fit your head. However, they do not tilt horizontally which means, for me, the earcups are tighter at the front of my head than they are at the back. If the cups did tilt, there would be a better and more comfortable seal. I can wear them for long periods, but they are slightly uncomfortable due to this. The earcups are large and the leather padding is soft.In the box – Also included in the box is a soft carry bag, cable for mobile devices (surround sound does not work using this), the cable (this has a volume control built in) and USB adapter to enable all the adjustments with the Logitech software (to enable surround sound), along with some mesh earcups (I haven’t tried these, but they appear very soft and most likely lighter than the preinstalled leather ones).Overall, the headset is great. Sound is good once you have a profile set up, comfort is good, the amount of adjustments is very useful and the microphone is clear. Wireless would be a nice addition, but as the cable is detachable, I’m sure a third party wireless adapter would work.

This is a really solid pair of headphones- not quite as heavy as they look maybe, but still quite thick, and highly padded. They’ve got a classy look about them- none of the nonsense neon glowing that a lot of gaming kit suffers from- and with just a hint of silver in the G logo and the old-telephone-cable style extensible wires, there’s something a touch old-fashioned about the look that I quite like.Sound-wise, they’re really good. They’re not the greatest-sounding headphones I’ve ever tried, not quite at least, but they’re well up there- and against headphones with a retail price twice as high, they certainly more than hold their own in terms of value. The bass sounds are perhaps a little bit warm at times, and everything’s just a shade bass heavy, but those are extremely minor comments about a sound profile that generally sounds very good when tested with my usual array of stereo sources. The cups are moderately comfy, but again, not the best I’ve tried. They’re a little smaller than some and the result is that they can feel a bit clammy when worn for long periods, and they lack the cooling gel or fabric elements that help cool make other headsets feel comfier. They cut out a moderate amount of external sound, without cutting you off from the outside world entirely.Making the microphone completely optional is a great idea, meaning you can use these as headphones just for listening without feeling like you’ve got a microphone stuck in the way- just make sure you don’t lose the microphone, as it’s not that big! It’s a dinky little mic but the sound quality from it is quite impressive, easily good enough for voice chat and I think good enough for webcasts and online presentations and so on as well. Other reviewers seem to be raving specifically about the microphone- I can’t say I hear it as brilliant, but it’s certainly very good. The smartly presented box is well stocked, with a selection of different cables depending on what you’re intending to plug it into, including a USB adapter to give you the potential for the full surround sound effect. There’s also a nice padded carrying bag, with another discreet black-on-black G logo, which is a welcome bonus, as well as a second set of cups, which is a rare plus as well.I’m torn between 4 and 5 stars on this one. They sit somewhere between the more ‘casual gamer’ headphones you’ll readily find for under a hundred, and the serious audiophile headphones that cost nearer two hundred or up. But they’re obviously not as cheap as the former, and they don’t have the full-on ‘wow’ factor of the latter, and they sit somewhere inbetween. They’re really good- but they’re not quite top of the class.

Unboxing the headphones was a nice experience. At this level, you get all the accessories you would expect, extra leads to ensure all the connectivity is there for all of your devices. You also get a nice carry bag and a detachable mic.The headphone style is over the ear providing good native isolation and one of the best looking gaming headphones I’ve ever seen. The subtle styling on these was impressive from Logitech, and I even like the G logo on the side in silver. They are constructed from aluminium and look premium giving them exception build quality which was unexpected. Most gaming headphones have a reputation for not being great, but these are an exception to that club. The lift earcup has the 3.5mm jack and mic jack, and apart from that there is nothing else on them. The controls for volume, mute etc are on the cord. There is a nice clip to ensure that it doesn’t pull. The sound was also outstanding from the 50mm driver, providing me the ability to pinpoint any footsteps or shots in Apex, Pubg, Bfv and Fortnite. I was expecting these to no be as good as they were.Watching movies or just surfing Youtube videos I could hear voices clearly, and they have a decent level of bass. They have metal side adjustability which is decent, and it has plenty of movement for larger heads. The clamping force was perfect on my head; what was a little disappointing here was the angle movement. This didn’t cause me a problem, but if you want some flexibility here or you want to fold them flat for travelling, then you won't be able to.Comfort is good. I don’t have any issues with these for long periods with the well-padded headband and soft earcups. Normally in gaming headset this is firm foam, but these are comparable to premium headphones. What was also nice was to find a pair of non-leather ear covers which I prefer as it helps with keeping your ears cool. So you can swap between leather or Cloth, nice.I had no issues connecting these to my PC where I installed Logitech Hub software. It was an easy setup, and they detected within windows right off the bat. In here you can fine-tune the headphones to your preferred style. The microphone is at a good standard for a gaming headset, I mean this mic isn’t a rode but compared to the market it performed well. My teammates had no issues hearing me and my voice had some bass. Noise isolation was also good.Overall I was super impressed. I’ve had Logitech headsets before, and none of them was like this. These are the best gaming headset that I’ve come across so far. They are now my travelling headset for my laptop. If they had folded, flat that would have been exceptional but super is pretty good.

I've using a Corsair Void Pro RGB wired gaming headset for ages. I use it both for gaming and WebEx presentations for my job, so a decent mic is a must for me.1. Looks - they are a good looking set of headphones. I would be quite happy to wear these outside. The cans themselves are a mix of mat black plastic and shiny metal with the Logitech G on them. The band is mat leatherette with the word PRO subtly embossed on the top. They look like a quality item and hopefully will last for a long time.2. Comfort - the headband is well padded and you get two sets of ear pads (leatherette which are on, and a velour set which you can fit your self if you prefer them). The headset is comfortable and I can wear it all day - which I need to do when using webex (I deliver training courses online so I will be on webex for anything from 6 to 8 hours when using these).3. Sound quality - The mic is really good (although more on this later). The quality of the sound through the cans is a bit muddy, although I think this is due to the default equalizers all being gaming specific - so bass is muddy and some top end is missing. The 7.1 sound is okay, it's no where near as good as real setup, but it is usable.4. Software - I have a range of Logitech stuff and have been using the Logitech gaming suite to manage them for ages. This headset requires the newer G Hub software. Installed that, it migrated settings from the gaming suite for my keyboard/mouse. Now the headset is plugged into an external USB dongle (it does some of the the sound processing) and this was detected and i could see it in G HUB. I had a play with the Blue Voice settings and after some playing/recording decided that the esports presets were probably no good for me, so my mic is set to the presenter1 preset, which produces as really natural spoken voice quality. Unplugged the dongle, cam back a few days later to have another play with the settings and I couldn't get it to work...the are some issues with the initial drivers apparently, there is an easy fixPlug the dongle, go to Device Manager, expand Sound,Video and game controllers, right click on Logitech PRO X Headset and select uninstall driver - after that pull the dongle out and then after a few seconds plug it back in again.Anyway, this review is starting to get long now. Overall it's a very good WIRED gaming headset, you could also use it with a phone. I've given it 4 stars as the driver issue really shouldn't have happened - there are lots of reports online of people with the same problem.

Me being a gamer, have managed to get through a large number of headsets over the years! I must say this headset is by far the best I have ever come across for the money. From the get go, the box was an elegant but simple design. This already had me impressed but once I opened the box the experience managed to get better and better. The headset itself is a well designed, comfortable product with little added details that make it the best,.The speakers themselves offer a 7.1 surround sound system, which provides a crystal clear sound quality, that allows for every footstep, or gunshot, to noise to be located instantly. Alongside gaming, I have also used them for viewing and listening to entertainment apps, like Spotify, Netflix, Prime Video. The downloadable software that comes alongside these headphones 'Logitech GHub' allows for the best sound to be heard through them; depending on what you are using them for, you can change the purpose of the headset (Gaming and Entertainment) and therefore the sound settings; for instance you can change the bass and EQ using the Logitech software. I personally also use FL studios (Music Software) this allows for great usage if you are a music producer, as you can experience the full quality of the sound. The headset itself comes with 2 different ear coverings; a memory foam and a sponge like cover. The memory foam ear cover provides a comfortable resting place for the headset which allows for hours of gaming with no discomfort. They are THAT comfortable!! The speakers are also cushioned a comfortable distance from your ears, which means if you tap the headset, the speaker does not touch your ear directly, which I have found to be an issue with some of the headsets I have used.Within the box you get 2 aux cables; a braided and a plastic cable, along side a cable splitter and a USB adaptor for PC gaming. The Microphone is detachable which allows for the headset to become headphones if required. The Mic itself is well built and offers crystal clear sound through it, it is flexible and therefore easy to position in the correct place for your mouth. The sound quality has been verified by the people I game with and by testing it myself on playback devices. I occasionally stream and this Headset allows for me not to need another mic, as the mic quality is so good you wouldn't be able to tell the difference even if i had an expensive professional mic.All in all, I think this Headset is one of the best on the market, at the moment.

Out of the box, these reminded me of a pair of headphones my Dad had, apart from his were white. Two closed cans with curled cables attached. Leather headband cover, leatherette cushions, steel headband, aluminium can forks, machined Logitech logos on each earpiece, it all looks top, top quality. But does what it looks like matter? To test the audio, I approached this in a few ways. First for music. I have an old pair of Sony MDR-1RNC headphones purchased in 2014 that were considered rather good for playing music through back then. How do the G-PRO's compare for music? Out of the box...awful! Really bad. Really, really bad. This was playing the same track through the PC speakers headphone port each time.Plugging the Logitech PRO dongle into the PC, it got picked up by the G-Hub software and this allowed me to play with the equaliser settings of the headphones and store the profile to the headphones too. Bonus! This made them sound much better but nowhere near to matching the Sony's and I shouldn't expect to be able to compare them to be honest. But they should be able to match the cheaper Razer Kraken X's I have and I struggled to get them to match them too. Closer though. Gaming headphones are just for gaming in conclusion. The Razer's sounded much better out of the box.Gaming wise, these are great. Planted on my head and off I went into Doom 4 land. Very comfy and no issues after 90 mins. No messing around with fake '7.1' gimmicks, these deliver a great stereo sound. I also found them very isolating. My partner scared the poop out of me when she tapped me on the shoulder! No idea she was there. Maybe this is good or bad for some people? For me the comfort was great with my ears. The cushion internal dimensions are 43mm wide by 65mm high by 21mm deep. The can angle is fixed so they can't tilt to meet different ear angles.Pros: Excellent quality, very comfy, great compatibility with existing G-Hub appCons: Games console users need to connect them to the G-Hub app in order to improve the sound profile. Maybe too heavy for some. Given the cost, they should be able to produce a better sound for listening to music.

I had great expectations for these gaming headphones from Logitech. I’m not a game player myself but I do like to listen to music and using VoIP. These are wired headphones which is better for VoIP communications as Bluetooth can cause an annoying lag. This makes communication very frustrating. These headphones come with a lot of accessories in the box but sadly does really lack in decent instructions. When you are paying this kind of money, I don’t think it’s too much to ask for proper written instructions. There is only a small pictorial booklet which really doesn’t cut the mustard. In use, the headphones sound good but not great. If you are an audiophile, then these are not for you. There is a lack of clear bass sounds. They’re there but they’re not crisp. For gaming and VoIP, this is not a big problem and to be fair, Logitech are not promoting these as music headphones. The microphone is a separate item which plugs into the headphones if needed. This is a good idea as microphone use is not always wanted and can be annoying in these situations. However, if it is needed then the microphone is very good. Probably one of the best I’ve used.As I’ve already mentioned, the included accessories are numerous. You get a spare set of muffs, a load of leads and a nice storage bag for the headphones. Amongst the leads are long set of leads for standard use with a built-in volume and mute switch. There is another lead for using the headphones with a mobile phone and also has an inline switch. There’s a splitter cable for using on standard PC sound and microphone sockets. You also get a USB sound adapter. This plugs into your computers USB port and has a 3.5mm socket for connecting the headphones to it. This is a fully functional USB soundcard in its own right. However, I did find it was little fussy about what USB port you use it on. It seems to prefer USB 2 sockets. I got it working on a USB 3 socket but it had to be one on the PC itself and not via a hub. Might just be my setup though and not a universal problem.Overall, these are quality gaming headphones, but they are let down by a poor set of instructions.

Over the years I've suffered cheap 'cheap' headphones with no value for money; maybe you do get what you pay for, but then I've suffered cheap 'expensive' headphones and that breaks your heart, your bank or both. The main difference is, obviously, in paying expensive to hear that terrible sound which has you asking yourself just what is it you have to do to get it right. Buying these has been the best experience in trying to buy a pair of headphones for years. But ... Eventually I got it right. They are quite weighty; not heavy, not bulky but when you wear them (let's say) you know you have them on and there's something about them that makes you feel this is how it should be and how it should feel. They are a definite visual sample of how a quality build should be; they are very well engineered ... they are perfect. What don't I like about them? Nothing, at all, bad to say; not one wordThese headphones fit my head perfectly; they don't press against my ears until my ear-lobes start to lose circulation and they don't fall down so low that I need to constantly adjust them. They fit perfectly, I can wear them for hours and they never, never get uncomfortable for me. As for what matters most of all; the sound quality is better than I can remember for nay years. Gaming with these on for hours is not a task, they never get uncomfortable and the sound is astounding. As far as technical jargon goes I'd leave that to the audiophiles out there who would give a more professional appraisal than I ever could. But the final analysis, for me, is that these headphones are simply the best; actually, I've bought five headphones over as many years, I've paid expensive and I've paid cheap and liked none of them. I love these Logitech PRO X Gaming Headset like no other.I don't really see how they can be faulted and it's the best value product, design and quality item that I have purchased in years. And I love them.

(This review was written by a teenage family member who does a lot of computer gaming, and is also a musician). The logitech pro-G50 offers a comfortable, adjustable and a good build quality along with a clear and fairly sharp microphone and speakers giving a wide range of frequency without dropping the high/low.Comfort: Overall I find this headset to be extremely comfy as the leather pads go around your ears and by doing this I find that it helps with longer duration of using it, as with my other headsets such as the hyper-x cloud 2 (similar budget) in which my ears and the area around seem to get a big clammy.Durability: So far, the Pro G-50 has worked perfectly and has suffered nearly no wear marks and only minor creases in the leather. The what seems like 5 foot cable is better than competitors in the price range as it is a lot more flexible and compared to my other headsets, it's longer then their 3 foot cables.Design: I find the design to be really nice at home although I would tend to not use it in public. Although it has a detachable microphone, I find the design to be too bulky with the trade-off for extra comfort.Sound/speaker: The speakers on the G-50 are good in some aspects but are a bit average in sound quality. My hyper-X headset is a lot better for gaming as I find the sound quality to just be better although the G-50 has much better highs and lows as when listening to music I find the G-50 to be better than most headsets.Microphone: The microphone is really good with only hearing static when really close to my mouth, it has an average sensitivity so it won't pick up load background noise but isn't too quiet. The microphone wind sock seems to work well as it cancels out heavy breathing and breezes from outside.Overall I find this headset to be slightly better than others in it's price range with some minimal drawbacks and some major advantages.

So the first thing i will talk about is the packaging. It is great, and high quality. Everything was neatly packaged, and the box graphics and writing was all excellent, and overall the interior and exterior of the box in my opinion screamed premium. The headset itself feels very nice, also screams premium for the price tag it comes with, and is made of premium material like steel and aluminium and not plastic, providing a strong and durable construction. It comes with an assortment of accessories like the detachable microphone, and different ear pads, some different connectivity options, along with a storage bag. Upon trying them on,they are comfortable and fit my ears perfectly without causing strain or digging in to any part of my face/head which many tend to do.The sound quality provided is excellent when used in its out of the box configuration with my PC, mobile, and also my PS4! I used to be an avid gamer at one point so went through headsets like nothing and can say the sound quality is excellent, both stereo and surround sound coming from these are amazing and it honestly provides a great experience within games. The surround sound is great as it lets you hear sounds that you would otherwise not hear or hear very faintly with a typical stereo headset. I know certain people have issues whereas others do not, but i guess i was lucky with the microphone and the audio as i have not had to go through this. The microphone that comes with it is detachable, and out the box the sound quality is also great but the BLUE VO!CE technology just helps so much better when you adjust settings with the G-HUB software to your personal preferences.Overall i have to admit i am very impressed with the sound quality and i would recommend it for sure.

These headphones have really good packaging and headphone materials used. As in the photos they are well packaged and come with a lovely material drawcase and different headphone wires. They have a splitter cable that allows for extra headphone connection which is nice. The cables are finished with a thick premium rubber that helps with keeping them tangle free. There is two other cables that have toggle controls on the wire with easy to use buttons. The headphones are some of the most comfortable ones I have tried with really nice padded memory foam. As you would expect the headphones have clear audio and clarity and I found them nice and natural to listen to.They are not top quality for bass and instrument sound when compared to over ear Bose or Beats for example. They are made for gaming and conversations which is where they excel at. It is easy to connect the cable and separate micro phone piece into the headphone jacks and they can be removed for easy storage. There is a thick head band that adds to the comfort for longer use. Overall the headphones for calls and gaming are excellent, they can be used as your normal music headphones with a mobile and are absolutely fine just not quite premium sound. The only real issue I had is I found the headphone warm to wear which affected how long I could wear them. They are not noise cancelling but the thick ear covers do a very good job at cancelling out outside noise. To improve I would want an option for wireless through Bluetooth, noise cancelling and improvement for music audio but I guess this would put the RRP up and what you already get at this part of the market is very good value. I would recommend these headphones to gamers [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
