Bought this for our 8yr old grand daughter, was not sure from the picture as to quality of product. But pleasantly surprised, wood was not rough so as to catch threads.Downside: Setting up directions very basic, no comb to push down the weaving, no instructions as to how to weave.That said easy enough to overcome, I have bought an 'afro' style, or large tooth comb to push weaving down - will do the job.Instructions for setting up can be found on the net.Three very small balls of coloured wool included to get started would only take minutes to use up, I bought extra double knitting wool - to run out when only just starting is not a good idea!Also need to purchase thread for warping.Good value for the price,

I'm new to weaving & this is a great bit of kit to learn on. It is a robust frame and the heddle functions well. Although the loom is probably a bit basic it's ideal for learning the ropes. Despite the lack of instructions it is a fairly simple task to set the warp which I mastered in under 15 minutes. It took a lot longer to draw up a design to weave but creativity isn't included in the box either.I think of this as money well spent

Bought for a crafty 7 yr old, our 12 yr old wants one too. We had a plastic one once which broke after only minimal use. This is a proper weaving tool which can make both small and quite large items. Takes about 15 minutes to set up before use and 7 yr old will need supervision to get best results but it will last for years unlike the brightly coloured plastic ones. Very little wool supplied - you will need lots more.

This loom is worth 10 times what I was charged for here at Amazon!It is an excellent loom, VERY sturdy - clearly made of quality wood. The loom is very easy to warp and it has stood up to a lot of use including one of our young children and their wee friend while sitting on the floor of a rocky ferry boat! I've lugged this loom hither and yon and now I am buying one for each of our children. 10 stars!!

This is actually a great loom at a great price, yes - it comes with no instructions, but there is plenty of in-depth tutorial videos on You Tube - the wove spaces are not as close as I was looking for but work well for chunky yarns - you just need: a comb - (plastic folk with do!) a knit needle and a shed stick - (chunky knitting needle will do) some yarn and your good to go!

No instructions with this loom, but if you look for a YouTube video for Webrahmen Frame Loom [...] it gives clear instructions on how to warp the loom. The loom itself is well made and has Welbrahmen on the packaging. There are videos in German, but this one had no commentary so was easy to follow.

Having watched some YouTube videos on how to weave I bought this and it was exactly what I needed. The instructions included are good but I will say it's hard to learn in any other way but seeing it live. Very useful and exactly what I expected! Can't stop using it, thank you.

Easy enough to set up but I would prefer it to come with instructions on how to use the loom (just something basic). I have never used a loom before but I am enjoying it and can always refer to YouTube for tips.

Amazing product. Great value for money. I would definitely 100% recommend this loom. It is so relaxing weaving yarn. Also heads up, I used yarn to warp the loom. This loom is perfect.

Really pleased. My granddaughter loves it. Easy to use and she can see her work growing. She has already made something.
