This set of six bendy dolls was bought as a result of an Amazon "deal" (people who buy <this> often buy <this> and <this> - buy them together for <£xxxxx>).I'm ever so glad I decided to buy them as they make a great accompaniment to the Barbarrosa wooden pirate ship we got for my son for Christmas.The wooden figurines are full of character and allow for great make-believe play. They seem pretty durable (although they haven't been in circulation for long and may still not withstand the test of time...)They have each been given a name - Captain, Dre, Chris, Jake, Nick and Nack (?!) and each one has a job on the boat (Nick's job is to fire the cannon, Nac's job is to be sick with the flu,

These are great! My 4 yr old daughter asked for a pirate ship for Christmas. A lot of the ships and pirates looked too violent and were made of plastic. These are wooden and well constructed. Their limbs move enough that they can ride her little Schleich horses. Most of their clothes are well attached. She is able to get the vest off of one. I bought this set since I thought the long brown haired one was a girl, but it turns out he has facial stubble. It would have been an added plus if they had a girl pirate, but you can't have everything right?

Received a set of these as a present with a lovely wooden pirate ship and have since sourced them from Amazon. Great presents for younger children who are just getting into the whole pirate thing. Incredibly characterful little wooden pirates with bendy arms and legs allowing them to clutch onto and hang off things ie ships mast or the crows nest. Or kitchen drawer handles, tree branches and the cat, wherever the 4 year old happens to be... Well made, with lovely detailing to the faces and the clothes.

Bought these pirates for my son's 3rd birthday in May to go with the pirate ship and he loves them. They showed some other pirates (bought seperatly) with the ship but thought they looked like they was for an older boy. So glad with this decision as there isn't a day he goes without playing with them. He calls one of them Mr Smee and one captain Hook from Peter Pan. As you can see they are educational as he is using his imagination a lot. Great durability will last for a long time.

I ordered these as an addition to our ship display at our local tourist office . Good quality figures all dressed well . There is a little bit of ability to bend the arms and legs to position then . A great success so far .Only negative , not sure were these were made but the box came with its own living breathing arachnid ? . Thrown into the garden enormous thing . Box fully checked for off spring .

Was delighted to receive these as part of a present for my young son who is two.Quirky, well-made and sturdy, I am sure these will provide hours of fun playtime.Only disappointment was in the packaging - just a plain brown box, would like to see something a little more imaginative.Would very much recommend these lovely dolls!

I had read mixed reviews and on receiving the dolls I was very pleased. They have bendy arms and legs and look just like pirates. The only thing which lets them down is the orange painted on beards, on some of the dolls. Black or brown would have been less clownlike. But I would recommend them,

Bought these to go with the wooden pirate ship I purchased from Amazon. They are absolutely perfect, well made, lots of lovely details, and very durable - my boisterous 9 month old takes them off his 3 year old brother and even he can't destroy them! They really are a great buy!

These are lovely good quality little dolls. All have individual features and take off clothing. I got them to go with a pirate ship to carry on the theme for small world play in a child minding setting so will be played with by both boys and girls from three years onwards.

Delighted with speedy undamaged arrival of set of handsome pirates.Had a quick play before handing over to grandson 5yrs who was as enchanted as I was [65yrs].Was a welcome distraction from christmas domestic and culinary duties.Yours in appreciationPeter Pan

Set of 6 wooden pirates supplied in a plain brown box.Very well made and bigger and better than expected. Each one is different, with wooden hair, fabric clothes and painted faces. They have bendy arms and legs.Excellent pirates, would recommend.

these pirates are great little chaps their pictures dont do them justice, my grandsons absolutely love them.They look far more expensive than they are priced at. These little wooden toys look great in the pirate shipand just look so realistic.

Bought these to go with my son's Le Van pirate ship. He loves them - as they bend, they can hold on to the rigging, turn the ship's wheel and walk the plank! A nice change to his plastic Lego people and they fit perfectly in/on the ship.

Bought to go with the pirate ship for grandsons birthday, as the pirate ship does not come with any pirates, my grandson was thrilled and already he has had hours of fun and imaginative play, a great hit.

Very good figures for my two and three year old - they have a large pirate ship so the figures add to the fun of play / role play. Very hardy and appears difficult to break or snap.Worth purchasing
