My daughter is 12 and certainly needed a bit of help to figure out the instructions and make a start on a bracelet, but once she got the hang of it then it became easier. It says for 8 and above but an 8 year old might find this a bit too fiddly. The needly has bent already after my daughter got a knot in the thread and tried to undo it by poking into it with one end of the needle. but I have managed to order a pack of new needles from Amazon, so problem solved, but might have been nice if a spare needle was included in the kit. Other than that, it is a great introduction to bead looming and is nicely made. Looking forward to playing with it myself too!

I got this for my 9 year old grandaughter to use as she has an artistic bent and loves making things. The makers advise-not surprisingly- that the set is only suitable for children over 8 years of age. With lots of small beads and bobs in the set, then they is a great potential for small children to swallow such items.It is a bit time consuming and fiddly to make a bracelet and I'm not sure how many children have the patience. It might need the input of an adult to set them on their way or help with the process. A reasonable price for a set which is aimed at creatively minded kids who have staying power when it comes to creative sets like this!

this is a nice craft set aimed i would say at older children or teens as it is very fiddly and needs patience and time to complete it well. a younger child may tire of this quite quickly and leave you to finish it !it comes with everything you need to make the bracelets and comes with instructions which compared to other sets are well laid out and fairly easy to follow. comes with pre drawn plans and spare blank ones for you to design your own.Yes its fiddly but it does produce good results compared to other kids craft kits.perfect gift.

This set has lots of tiny beads ect so is really for older girls maybe 8 years upwards. It comes with some pretty design ideas and paper to design your own. Everything needed comes in the box and ideas are endless. This set will keep kids engaged for ages whether making for themselves or friends and family, there is enough stuff to make 15 bracelets. It is a fiddly set to use because of the tiny parts so some children may need some help but all children will love their end result and enjoy wearing their personalised jewellery.

This bead loom was a little complicated for my 9-year-old daughter, but she is incentivised to persevere, as the designs are really cool. The creations involve fairly detailed bead patterns and look a bit more sophisticated than the usual friendship bracelet. I would recommend perhaps for slightly older kids, say 11+.

This is a really nice bead loom set which our daughter is really enjoying. It comes with a lot of beads and a variety of patterns — more so than other bead looms we’ve seen. It needs a lot of patience to use, but the end results seem worth it, and teaching patience is a good thing!

Interesting craft kit to created beaded jewellery it comes with a number of pattern to follow and comes with instructions so you can design your jewellery. recommends 8+ but younger will need a significant amount of support with this project as it is quite fiddly.

Very well made with impressive attention to detail. It's made from good quality materials and can withstand a good amount of child-inflicted abuse!
