My son has been on at me to put up a tree swing for a while now, so I eventually relented a few weeks ago and bought the bits and pieces for doing so. Unfortunately the only tree in our whole garden which could take the weight of a swing is in the front – not ideal, but by the time the trees at the back are large enough, maybe HIS kids will be ready for a swing!I used a tree-swing strap to attach this to the tree. I daresay you could probably knot this in some way to attach it directly to the tree, but this seemed safer and better for the tree.The nylon rope is well made, and well fixed at both ends and to itself. There is an adjustment loop which means you can fix the height of the swing with quite a large range of options.The seat is injection moulded plastic.

Well, 5 stars says I love it, but in truth it's the kids that love it. The original wooden trapeze swing broke on their climbing frame and so we needed something to go in its place and they loved the idea of this. And they love the reality too! It's very light but still sturdy. My 6yo and 10yo will play on it with no problem and I have had a quick go too (all 13 stone of me) and I felt quite safe. An excellent piece of kit and a great price!

Bought this for the tree house we built and we can't get my son off it. The plastic base is fairly lightweight which initially I thought felt a bit cheap but having seen it ping off my son's head a few times I am glad that it is! Seems very sturdy and it feels like it should last quite a few years worth of abuse.

This is a great item and my son loves it, delivery did take quite a while but it was worth the wait. It might be a good idea to measure the length of rope you require (I didn't bother) the swing is a bit higher than I had in my head but it's ok for my 8 year old.

Good Strong Quality. Please not the rope is very long, so you will have to adjust the rope to fit a normal sized Swing. When doing so, the rope will eventually be 2 rope's long. Way around this is to undo the bottom knott. and pull through and re knott.

Spectacularly popular with 4 year old daughter. Has been played with endlessly and I expect it will continue to be. More interesting than a normal swing and good for upper body strength.

Our young grandson is too young to fully enjoy this swing but my husband and I had great fun trying it out for him!It's very well made, strong and easily adjustable. We recommend

great easy to fit to climbing frame as iv taken off the old swings and added these. One thing can be very painful for little boys so we have added a tubing of padding

We've had this now for three months and still looks like new. The kids love it, though I'd say anyone young than 3/4 might struggle holding on. A great tree swing.

Great sturdy swing that is easy to put up or take down. We often take ours to a local wood. Once the kids have finished, its easy to pack away and bring home

This monkey swing sits perfectly on our existing swingset. Easy to attach with the ring, it is my child's favourite addition, and a really good price too.

Children seem happy enough with it. It fits on our existing swing set and is easy to change, which is handy. Seat could do with being a bit larger.

Bought as an 'extra' for home built climbing frame. Particularly suitable for our 6-year old grandson and his 35+ year old uncle!
