We chose this furniture set for a toddler because it looked very solid and durable. The dolls that go with it were purchased separately.This furniture set is not the cheapest that you will find but we selected it because it looked like it could withstand the enthusiastic playing of toddlers. We are very pleased with our decision as the furniture is chunky, well made and beautifully finished. Despite being chunky there are a lot of detailed touches to the designs, drawers that open, toilet lids that open and close etc and these features also feel durable and well made.The furniture also looks lovely, the colours are very attractive and the paint finish is excellent.

We got this with the Le Toy Van Bay Tree house for my two year old for Christmas. She loves it and enjoys playing with it. We bought the Le Toy Van family (of 4)to go with it. The only complaints I have is that there are only 2 cups and two bowls included, this means that the family of four must take turns in having their meals. Also the little girl battles to fit into her bottom bunk bed. Our little girl loves it though and although I was worried that she was too small to play with a doll house she apparently isn't so we're very pleased. We also purchased the Songbird Bedroom as I was afraid there wouldn't be enough furniture. Since the furniture included in the Deluxe set is quite large don't be tempted to buy too many other additional rooms.

I bought this with the Bay Tree House and a set of people from ELC (only £10 for 6 people) for my daughters 4th birthday. She plays with it much more than I thought she would and in lots of ways the furniture is the better part as she takes it out of the house and sets up her own 'rooms' on the carpet! The set is pretty durable and just about fills the house, although you could put more things in the loft space and a bath would have been a good extra. The people from ELC are the right size for the furniture and the house and half the price of le Toy Van people. The whole set seems very durable, but knowing what kids are like, I think if she stood on it, parts could come unglued,

I liked that the furniture is solid and strong enough for a toddler, but stylish / colourful enough that an older child would like it too. Good mix of pieces for a couple of rooms, get you started at least.The only downside is that the pictures on the website (which i used to compare 'deluxe' to 'starter' sets by same company) didn't let you see clearly what was or was not included in the set. There were some pieces I was expecting that actually weren't part of it. As far as I can see (and it's a bit confusing) there isn't any difference between the two at all. But that comment is more about the advertising than the actual set itself.Overall my daughter loves the furniture and it is solid enough to stand the test of time.

I thought this set was brilliant and my 6 year old daughter loves it. With a whole house to furnish and the price of individual sets I was looking for something child friendly / orientated to get her going. She hasn't even asked for more furniture, we just got a family to go with it and she was happy.

Study heavy furniture - surely my 4 year old twin grandchildren cannot destory this?! The plastic furniture with tiny drawers etc was null and void within weeks

Good quality, lovely colours. Ideal as a starter set for a Le Toy Vans doll house. But figures have to be bought separatly. Great delivery as usual from Amazon.

There is enpugh here for the whole house and its a great starter kit. Family can add sets as gifts in the future if you wanted to customize the house decor,.

This is lovely sturdy furniture. We unfortunately got an oven with the door that won't stay shut but its such a faff to send stuff back we'll live with it

This was for my nearly three year old grandaughter for her first dolls house for christmas and she loved it! It has plenty of pieces to keep her busy.

It was absolutely as described and arrived before schedule.My daughter was tickle pink with them.You can buy without problem.
