Purchased this picture for my youngest grand daughter because she is absolutely into arts and crafts. As this is the 1st time she has used this medium the underlying colours are great for a young child to follow. I was quite impressed watching part of the picture coming alive with the sparkle from the sequins and although it will take her a few weeks to finish it all she's so delighted wiith it she can't wait to finish it and hang it on her wall. The only thing I would say should be added to the package is somehing to protect their little fingers. The poltstyrens is quite firm and the constant pushing in of the pins can make thumbs a little sore. I put a padded elastoplast on her thumb to help her press in the pins.

My 11 year daughter has been completing a lot of these sequin art projects, shes been saving her pocket money up.The kit includes more than enough sequins and pins to complete the image, which is just as well considering theres a few bent pins.People with fine motor skill problems, poor eye sight or immature children may struggle with this, it can be fiddly due to small parts, and children who cant behave shouldn't be trusted with the pins.My daughter has a wishlist a mile long of these and its nice to see her do something away from the ipad and consoles. Its been worth every penny and Ill be buying more. Shes not short of choice as theres a ton of designs.

Bought this for our 7yo daughter as we'd had a cheaper version while on holiday that she loved. The real McCoy sequin art is clearly a grade above what we had - its amazing! She needs a bit of help to get the sequins on the tacks but will happily spend time working away at this and her 4yo brother even tries to help out if he's given leave to do so. A lovely craft kit to work on - I've no doubt when this one is nearing completion I'll be back to buy another. Definitely recommend!

This is a lovely set. We got the penguin one and it is so pretty. I would recommend that you paint the frame first (as it states in the instructions!) as we ended up with paint on the paper. Myself and my 8 year old daughter completed the picture over the course of four days and we thoroughly enjoyed doing it and gave us a chance to sit and chat at the same time. I also have the cupcake picture aswell and will tackle that over the summer holidays.

Bought this for my 9yr old daugher, who loves any type of art and craft. Its not messy at all, you just pin the little sequins into the polystyrene board, very clear instructions included. There is a picture which shows where to pin each colour. Kept her happy for days, its the sort of thin you can do for an hour then put it away and do more another time. Will def be getting more of these for her.

My nine year old granddaughter LOVED this. She sat pushing the pins in placing the sequins where shown and each day proudly showed off her work to anyone who came to the house. She has told me where there is one that she can put her name on in sequins and is praying she may have it bought for her!! She has enjoyed doing this so much that she might just get another one.

This is taking myself and my daughter ages to complete but it looks so effective i would highly recommend. Great fun to do slightly tricky for little fingers and the tips of your fingers do get a bit sore after a while but brilliant little project we keep coming back to. Would definitely buy another design great Christmas gift.

Bought this for my 10 year old daughter's birthday - and it is just about perfect for her. She has the dexterity to do the pinning, and the speed to complete it in not too much time. A younger child might get frustrated, trying to keep the sequins on the pins, but overall think it is great.

My six year old daughter loves this product. It's easy for her to create independently and the end result will look amazing. A little fiddly but it doesn't hinder her enjoyment (or mine). It isn't a product that can be completed in a flash, so I feel like I have got my money's worth.

My daughter is 6 and it has taken her a while to complete as the process of pinning each sequin in takes time.Looks lovely when finished although I had to help her to speed up the finished product and get rid of all the pots of sequins from my dining room table!!

Another really good Sequin Art product,this time for my 5 years old granddaughter.She completed most of it by herself,and was delighted with the finished article.Will certainly buy more for her and her sister in the future as they really enjoyed making them.

I bought this for my 8 year old daughter she loves it she hasnt finished it yet she does a bit most days and has already picked out which one she would like for her birthday. I'm very happy how somthing so simple can keep her contented.

My 8yr old daughter received as christmas gift, at first was really keen and finished about 3rd of it but then got fed up,no patience!! Her older cousins and myself had great fun finishing it, addictive and looks lovely when completed

My niece was very happy with this item. She said it was better than previous sets she has had, as it had a guide sheet, that you could put on the picture, to put the pins through, rather than having to guess where to put them.

Great present for older girls (due to the pins). Have bought a few for presents this year already and the girls seem to really enjoy doing them. They are then nice enough to be able to display in their rooms.
