This is a fabulous bag. I've been using the Dazz Red version which is a lovely colour, bright but not overpoweringly so and there is a subtle pattern in the fabric which lifts the "dazz" above Kipling's usual nylon material used in the basic range. I was extremely sceptical when I opened the box this arrived in. It just looked too small. However, the shape is very clever, with the sides opening out to increase the width if you need them to. I've got larger than A4 (foolscap size?) plastic envelope folders (several) and an iPad in mine at the moment and there is room to spare. I can also get my 13" MacBook in the main compartment (in its sleeve). There are useful slots in the main compartment for a phone,a pen and one other which I use for a packet of tissues. There is also an internal zip pocket. There are also zip pockets on the front and a smaller one on the back. This bag is so comfortable to carry; the handles are long enough to go over my shoulder even with a bulky coat on. The fabric of the handles is folded over at the top which is good because it stops them from slipping. I really like the shiny zip pulls, Kipling logo and monkey which makes this bag look very smart. I wanted a bag for work which wasn't too big but big enough. (I've also got a Halia and found that because it had such a lot of space I was filling it up and ended up with a heavy bag full of stuff I didn't really need). The Faye Fever would also work well as a large handbag. I'm soimpressed with this design that I've also got it in two other colours. It's a great bag and I will be keeping an eye on what new colours Kipling bring it out in.

I bought this to use for school but it is much smaller than I thought so I did plan to send it back however my mum saw it and decided to buy it off of me. Don't get me wrong, I think it is a beautiful bag and I love the colour. Not quite a solid colour like on other Kipling bags. However as it was not suitable for what I wanted it for, I did decide to be "good" and send it back as I have far too many Kipling bags! My mum used it on our recent trip to Iceland as her hand luggage and it was perfect. Not too big...not too small and held all her necessities. As it was too small for its original intended purpose, I did mark it as too small for the review but for my mum's purpose, it was fine.

I can't understand a cheap comment on this bag.. it is superb Kipling Quality, very roomy, large interior, outside zipped pockets and a great bag for work or playThe Dazz red is what I bought at a fantastic price, the metal logo zip pulls and monkey keyring are classy looking, and please don't be put off by snide remarks as they aren't justified at all, there are many who praise the bag including me, I have been buying Kipling bags since 2001 and couldn't recommend this highly enough and am now looking at the Black one, also a great flight bag!! THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE FAYE FEVER DAZZ RED

I wanted a new bag to use as a 'carry on' for my forthcoming holiday. I have a few Kipling bags and know they are lightweight yet robust, this one is the same. In addition it has outside pockets, so useful for boarding cards and passports. In the main compartment, I can fit my Kindle, a magazine, snacks, makeup bag etc, in fact everything I need for my journey. I have the dazzling red bag which I think is quite a subtle red and will go with all the neutrals in my wardrobe. The price I paid is about half of that on the Kipling website, so, it is a bargain too.

This is a great bag and I have used it loads despite not being a fan of non leather bags. I travel a lot for work so I find it very useful when travelling due to its lightweight design. Love the zipped pockets on the front and back and the key fob is very handy too. I wish this bag was available in leather, I’d definitely buy it! Something to be aware of if you are planning to use the bag as a shoulder bag - the straps aren’t long enough. It would be useful to have a longer adjustable strap to have an option of wearing over the shoulder or across body.

When the package arrived I was a little disappointed. The bag appeared to be too small for what I was requiring it for. However once I had unpacked it I tried out a ring binder for size and was surprised that it fitted perfectly with loads of room to spare. This bag is so strong. I have always wanted a real Kipling Bag but could never afford it before. After a promotion at work I decided to treat myself. I'm glad I did. It's really lovely and the quality is outstanding. I will get so much use from it.

Good size - not too big or small; smart, stands up and keeps shape; lots of places to store things, plus enough room for extras in winter e.g. scarf, gloves; large enough to put things in in the course of a day or evening, so not carrying lots of items or bags; seems well made and is usefully light and waterproof; like the colour -- adaptable. Bit expensive at full price but at the sale price an excellent purchase.

It is possibly bigger than I expected but is a good size, especially now you have to ensure you have a bag with you when making impulsive or unplanned buys, with this you can just put every thing in the bag as it is strong and roomy. There are enough pockets fro quick access and the key fob as always is most very useful. Looks more stylish than some other Kipling bags I have.

Great bag, however I may not be objective since I'm a Kipling addict;) At first I was worried that it would be too small for my needs but I can easily put my laptop in it and there's still plenty of room left. It looks stylish and elegant enough to use it as an everyday work bag. I'm very happy with my purchase and thinking on buying another one in different colour.

I do love this bag but it is bigger than I anticipated. I wish Amazon would mention in the info given what the height then the width then the depth is,in that order. That is the order used by most firms. Kipling does that too so I am assuming that Amazon is to blame? Lots of secure pockets to fill, great colour, but it is a shoulder bag rather than a handbag.

Lovely bag and the same great quality you expect in a kipling, I loved the shape and design and the handles fit nicely over the shoulder whilst wearing a coat. Would be great as an everyday handbag, and would fit A4 files, iPad, kindle etc. Unfortunately for me it was too small for my needs as a work bag.

A really stylish bag,very good quality, nice size too,I have always wanted a Kipling handbag but couldn't afford one, but this one came along at the right price, so I thought that I would treat myself to one for my birthday, very happy customer. Thankyou. Would buy again.

Great looking, functional bag made by Kipling. A company whose lightweight travel bags began as functional and have gone on to be fabulously fashionable and functional. A capacious work bag with an external zip pocket for items you want easy access to.

I love this bag, i was slightly concerned when i first opened the packaging that it wouldn't be big enough but i can get a a4 file, a4 pad plus pencil case and other necessities in. It looks stylish, and is perfect for what i need it for.

Pleasantly surprised at the size as initially I thought it would be too small but it fits all my a4 folders in with my diary and lots of other women's bits and pieces. Good bag might look at a different colour as well.
