I was asked if I’d like to review Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Rose 30 ml, and I said yes.This is an Eau De Parfum spray, which comes in a lovely designed gift box.The bottle design is very femine; main part of the glass bottle is covered in gold and pink glitter. The bottle top is made from plastic; round the neck of the bottle is a lovely pink bow.You’ll find the top notes of this fragrance are Italian Mandarin, William Pear and Jasmine Petals. It’s heart notes are Rose Centifolia, White Peion and Jasmine Sambac. The base notes are Amber, Orris Absoli and Benzoin.This is a pretty, young and playful fragrance. It smells of lovely fresh flowers and it reminds me of a lovely, hot Summers Day.

This is the type of perfume you wear mostly for yourself. It is very soft and subtle. In fact, I think if someone hugged you while you wore this they would just assume that your natural body fragrance was a soft clean floral, not that you were wearing perfume. Don't get me wrong, the description is perfect in that smelling this scent immediately makes me feel calm and happy. For people who respond strongly to aroma therapy this is a must have. I am prone to anxiety and this scent was very calming for me. It reminded me of sitting in a park curled up with a good book wearing a sundress. Clean and understated. The more I smelled it throughout the day, the more I liked it. But it is very light.

I like the feminine and glittery look of Viva La Juicy Rosé Eau De Parfum’s packaging and bottle. It sports a translucent pink bow and a glitzy veneer on the bottle. Personally, I think this scent is the most different from the rest of the Viva La Juicy parfum collection. It carries hints of citrusy mandarin but the rose and pear scents are more dominant. The overall parfum does give off a more feminine vibe and scent, most probably because of the rose water smell. I’m not sure what benzoin and orris absolute smells like on its own, but it adds almost a soapy scent to the perfume that I’m not sure is intentional. I think the rose fragrance is one of those that are difficult to make last and I think this is no exception.

Lots of reviews talk about the citrus and floral notes and these are definitely there, but the first waft of scent I got was fruity gummy bears when first applied. It is sweet, so if you are looking for something that is sharper or muskier, then this isn't for you - but having said that the sweet overtones pass within a few minutes and you are left with a more balanced citrus and floral scent with the floral being the predominant scent and rose being the mainstay.The bottle is hard to ignore - it is fully blinged up - with an ombre effect of glitter on the bottle and a pink bow tied on the cap. If you are a minimalist, this won't appeal, but this is a really fun bottle which shouts fun and exuberance at you from all directions!

I’m wearing this perfume as my main day time scent currently and I’m very pleased with how nice it actually is.I have never tried this brand before, so I was pleased that it’s light, sweet and fruity, not at all heavy and cloying like some evening perfumes. So it’s perfect for wearing in the daytime to the office or at the weekend.The bottle isn’t as nice as the picture though. Mine is encrusted with a glittery finish, but it’s rough in my hand, like a piece of pumice stone, not smooth and glossy. As it’s a square bottle, it also doesn’t fit snugly in my palm. I think the bottle could be improved. But the actual product is lovely.5 stars

Packaging - a very feminine box, neatly presented with an absolutely beautiful bottle. A kitsch-feminine combo.Smell - a fresh floral fruity cross. The mid-notes are very much a general summery floral; the top notes are fresh and citrussy; very difficult to distinguish the base notes as the aim of this perfume is clearly to be a light summery scent. Overall, not one I'd identify as overtly rosey but more a general floral scent.Sadly loses 1 * due to lack of longevity. It seems to fade after 3-4 hours to a very close subtle scent which is fine for the summer, especially in this hot weather, but it does need a re-spritz later in the day.

Gorgeous fragrance 5*This is beautifully packaged and presented, so would make an attractive gift.The initial overriding fragrance, to me, is citrus (mandarin?) along with floral notes. The flower isn’t rose, though. Perhaps jasmine. But then rose takes over and persists although there’s still some fruit close behind. Whatever, I love it, and Mr Gumby was impressed too!It certainly grabs attention when first applied. Then the effect gradually fades over a couple of hours and becomes a softer but equally delightful rose. It needs a top-up at some point during an evening.I’m delighted to have this.…so says Mrs Gumby.

This has a light, fresh scent that feels very summery and upbeat. My daughter really loves the smell and has taken to wearing it frequently, so it's probably safe to say that it meets the target market well!The most remarkable thing, however, is the bottle, which is about as over-the-top as physically possible. There's so much glitter caked on, it feels like this would be more at home in the Palace of Versailles than our bathroom. The only way it could be more sparkly would be if they'd bottledJuicy Couture Viva La Juicy Rosé Eau in an actual unicorn. So, I suppose if that appeals, then this will make a fantastic gift!

When I first put on Viva La Juicy Rose, I immediately smelled the floral, rosy, scent. Typically I don't care for florals, but this one is not too strong or overpowering or fake smelling. Overtime as the scent faded a bit, I smelled more of a fruity scent. The scent lasted for a good amount of time. The bottle itself is gorgeous, a sparkly, feminine pink. Overall, this is a good solid scent. It's not my favorite JC scent as I prefer Viva La Juicy, but this is like the floral spin on that scent. I was given a bottle for free to try in exchange for my honest feedback.

From the bottle to the scent, Rose is for the girl-girl in your life. I personally am not a huge floral fan, so for me the scent was not my favorite. That being said, that "fresh" smell works well for brunch, weekend, or even the boardroom when you do not want to come off as smelling too strong or "sexy". I believe younger girls will love this scent with its flowery, fruity scent, and the fun sparkly bottle! Honestly the bottle is really pretty and fun; a gift in its own. I am going to keep it and maybe put flowers in it when the scent is done.

I use several rose products (rose oil, rose water) but I wasn't sure if I would love a fragrance that had 'rose' as the main focal point. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I really enjoyed this one. It smells likes roses mixed with the crisp apples and pears. The scent changed after a few hours to smell fruitier, which I liked. The bottle is very pretty and sparkly, I found myself drawn to it. I won't want to throw it away when it is empty. I received this product as a gift in exchange for my honest review.

I received this to review. This is a very light spring/summer scent. I couldn't put my finger on the exact scent, but after reading the description I definitely recognized the pear tones in it more than anything. All in all I think it smells nice and I will continue wearing it, but it’s strangely forgettable. (By that I mean I could be wearing it and someone else be wearing it next to me and I wouldn't realize it was the same perfume.) As a side note this comes in the most glittery, fancy, beautiful fragrance bottle!

Although the bottle is heavy and OTT in terms of glitter, the scent inside is remarkably fresh and very suitable for wearing on a hot summer’s day. I can pick out the citrus and floral scents, which are both light and pleasing; no sign of pear for me, however.I wish the bottle matched the scent as it seems excessively covered in glitter and there is only a glimmer of sight of the bottle contents when it is held up to the light. It seems a mismatched pairing, but the scent is sufficiently pretty to overcome this.

This Juicy Couture eau de parfum is packaged in a fun way and the fragrance itself is alight floral which has been great for the summer. As some other reviewers have noted the lasting power is not great but for the price I think it's good value and I've been surprised by how much I like it.Top Notes - Italian mandarin, Williams pear, JasmineHeart Notes - Rosa centifolia absolute, White peony, Jasmine sambacBase Notes - Orris absolute, Benzoin, AmbroxIt's a modern take on the rose fragrance.

Perfumes are a very subjective thing, you either like them or not ... In this case, we very much do.The initial hit of scent is citrus which then fades to leave a more subtle floral note. It is pretty powerful stuff, a a little goes a long way. My wife wore it out last night and got compliments on her perfume.The packaging and bottle are very attractive, but the blurb seems to be aiming it at a younger audience whereas I think the appeal would be wider.
