My first impression of JIMMY CHOO EDP was the thought that I've lost the plot a bit and had picked up a bottle of Viktor & Rolf' Flowerbomb instead; Both perfumes share a strong top note of green tea, that's both zesty/fresh and sweet. The green tea is strong enough to hide any other notes used except for a brief burst of bergamot, and as that is also citrussy it compliments the green tea nicely.After five minutes or so fruity notes of raspberry and pomegranate [?] develop and start to overpower the green tea, so the remaining green notes soon disperse. However the key scent note in the perfume's heart is the orchid, which is also sweet and seems to add a slight hint of spice [despite the tea,

After reading some of the reviews saying this was fake I did get a bit worried. The item arrived today and looked and felt like the real thing but I was still concerned as I know there are some good fakes out there. So i went to boots and compared the packaging, bottle, writing on the tester available there - all looked good and identical. I then sprayed one hand with the boots perfume and my other hand with the one I recd from Amazon. This was a few hours ago and I keep smelling each hand to see if they are different or if one fades quicker than the other. I can honestly say they appear to be the same so if it is a fake I really don't care as its as good as the real deal anyway.

I have recently tested Jimmy Choo Original Eau de Parfum and I am in love with it. It can be used across the generations, from young people to more mature ones. The fragrance is a long lasting and while it is powerful it is not overpowering. It can be used in daily life and is perfect for special occasions. The notes of patchouli and toffee caramel with its sweetness are standing out from the whole composition and make the perfect marriage. The initial smell evolves into richer and deep fragrance however the notes remain perfectly balanced giving powerful effect. Overall, it is irresistible smell, very sensual and addictive. The dry down is the best part of this smell, lingering on the skin for hours.

In my top five favorites. I’m not a big fan of patchouli at all but this one is patchouli done absolutely right and with the pear, caramel and vanilla notes, it’s so well rounded. I get compliments every time I wear it without fail. Someone I know kept saying you smell so good each time I wore it to the point where I bought her a bottle for her Birthday. The projection and longevity are astounding I never really have to reapply. I easily get 12+ hours out of this scent where others can still smell it when my shift is over. The pear comes through but doesn’t smell artificial and the caramel gives this a sweetness that’s not tooth aching sweet. I think others would really enjoy this one especially if you don’t have a real love for patchouli.

Jimmy Choo EDP is one of those fragrances that suits pretty much everyone, and I don't think I've ever had a customer or colleague not like it! It's suitable for younger women as well as more mature women, and can be worn as a day fragrance or as an occasion fragrance. I personally choose to wear it for evenings as it's more "grown-up" than my usual preference of fruity fragrances.What I love about Jimmy Choo is that it appeals to such a variety of people; whether you like fruity or musky scents, there are notes that will appeal to you. It's one of the most long-lasting fragrances I've come across and is fantastic value for money when you consider how it rates against some of the bigger/more expensive perfumes.

Ordered this as a gift for my wife's B'day and was not sure about the smell but went on to order it based on the reviews.It came nicely packed with Original Pack intact inside the small carton sent by the seller. Delivery was well in time.Knowing my wife and how choosy she is for her perfumes, I was ready to return the product once she would have seen it. But to my surprise she loved the smell and I did too. I am glad she was very happy with the product.Though I am not an expert on perfumes but would define the smell as fresh fruity with notes of "Betel Leaves". It is really long lasting and very refreshing.

I have only given 4 star instead of 5 as I thought it was a prime day and I would get 100g instead of 40g it had the blue band over it so fee mislead. Saying that as I had never smelt Jimmy Choo before I was surprised I liked the smell! It has floral notes that doesnt seem too heady. But most of all if like me love the smell of shoe shops leather bags or any thing leather you will love Jimmy! You have the feminine notes of flowers with masculine notes of leather. I personally love it and cant stop sniffing my wrist dreaming I am just walking through a shoe shop with a female perfume on. The leather smell is not over powering but there. I wouldn't have bought this if I didn't think I got a deal.

Just received Jimmy Choo . Well reading reviews , they seemed very good. As I am very fussy about perfumes, not necessarily designer brands, I thought I'll buy this . Well I am now sitting writing this and can smell this. When I first sprayed it on I thought oh very smelly , after about 20 mins it was more subtle . I would say it smells like a very old perfume which I loved it was called Opium, can't remember who made it. But it is not overpowering. Does seem to be lasting, it is now 2 hours since I sprayed. Have come back to typing this, after having my evening meal! Well I would recommend this. I know that perfumes are a very personal choice, but this one I would definitely go for .
