It's not an easy thing to buy perfume online. There are no testers and one has to rely upon the reviews to make a decision. I'm currently disabled and wanted to buy a perfume as a Christmas present for my mum. I would like to thank many of the reviewers for their help in allowing me to choose this product.It is well presented in a nice box and an attractive bottle. There's also a nice little cloth bag to keep the bottle in.When my mum opened this on Christmas Day and sprayed a little on her wrist I was transported to a warm summer's day in an English country garden. The initial fragrance is delightful. It smells fresh and exactly as you would want a rose perfume to smell. There is no hint of fakery or chemicals,

I've been caught out buying fragrances online that I haven't previously used, and made some expensive errors. This was an impulse buy too, but with a happy ending.This Rose fragrance is a crisp, light and floral EDP, green tea, slightly citrus and freshly rosy in the top accords, middle notes of damask rose with just a hint of sweet violet and - well, to my nose anyway, a memory of a waft of last summer's sweet peas which gave just a touch of spiciness to this clean, fresh Rose fragrance.It lasted several hours on my skin, and it's still imbuing a scarf I sprayed it on with a lovely fragrance, days later.I was dreading anything heavy, sweet or cloying - I do not want to smell like a piece of Turkish Delight,

I was very excited to try this perfume after reading the other reviews i needed a perfume to replace my bottle of Flower Bomb after my sons friends emptied it at his birthday party - not v.pleased .I must say i was a bit let down, don't know what roses smell like in other places but they must smell different here, it was a nice scent but not like a real fresh rose . It reminded me of when i was a child and i visited my great Aunt (so it does smell like old lady perfume) who had a cream prefume in a pink glass jar which smelled just like this- I think it was from Avon but this was over 30 years ago.I will keep looking for my perfect scent (or maybe get more flower bomb?)

Originally bought this elsewhere (for a much higher cost) as I love rose-based perfumes - but the current price on Amazon beat everywhere else hands-down so I got treated to 2 for the price of normal 1 by DH (thank you!) Because it's an 'Eau de Parfum' it doesn't have the staying power of a 'parfum' which I saw others had complained about but then you're not paying silly prices and it lasts much longer than using an EDT.You may not think it lasts that long but you can still smell it on your clothes the next day - I think our 'noses' get used to the smell?!I'm just finishing my old bottle that lasted a year but I was only using it a few times a week.

I bought this perfume based on the strength of all you other lovely reviewers who rated it so highly, and I am so glad I did - it is fantastic! It does smell of a very delicate rose, but there is more to it - very sophisticated and feminine - really, really love it, so a big thanks for the reviews on here. I will be keeping this one as my personal favourite. Beautifully packaged as well. The box is pretty enough, but when you open the box up, the actual bottle is inside a cotton, draw-string miniture rose-print bag!!! Little touches that make it even more special - and great if you are sending as a gift. I cannot think of any woman who would not love this scent. Good value for 100mls too!!

This is my favourite perfume - I used to spray testers all over myself and got so many compliments, so decided to buy it. I usually find I have to 'acquire' a liking for most perfumes, but this I found immediately irresistible. The scent is so classic yet completely original and modern at the same time - it's sweet, but not too sweet, with a little hint of parma violets, which I love. The packaging itself is a delight, there's something very unpretentious and classy about its simplicity. Although not shown in the picture here, it comes with a very attractive and good quality drawstring pouch printed with roses (at least the 100ml does), which makes it perfect for putting in your bag.

This fragrance truly is beautiful. Fresh, romantic, feminine. A beautiful Eau De Parfum that lasts and draws so many compliments when I wear it.What is particularly nice also is the attention to detail in its presentation - the bottle having a clean, fresh look with a good quality, heavy lid and the simply gorgeous rose bag that houses the perfume. I leave my Rose inside the lovely bag on my dressing table and the whole perfume just seems extra special because of this.I wear this during the day. It makes me smile when I drink in the aroma and I like the compliments I get when I wear it. It truly is special and is amongst one of my favourite perfumes. A lovely big bottle such as this,

This perfume is absolutely lovely, I have worn it for years during spring, I alternate between this and lanvin eclat di arpege. I am only 30 but this rose scent is not dated, it is very fresh and almost reminds me of clean crisp washing, a bit like a rose softener, it is absolutely gorgeous to me, simple but gorgeous and feminine, could also be worn in summer it's very refreshing, long lasting and the sillage is great.This is most definately NOT a fake. I think I've ordered a fake off of here before of a different perfume but even with that I can't be sure as alot of perfumes are reformulated with time but i have ordered this many times from here in all different sizes and it is definately

This caught my eye as it was a very special offer price. I didn't really need perfume, but am a big fan of rose fragrances and had heard that the Paul Smith one was lovely and long-lasting. It didn't take long to convince myself that a treat was in order! Delivery was prompt. The bottle is attractive and weighty, the fragrance is delightful. The pretty little bag is a bit of mystery - the bottle is too weighty to carry in a handbag, but if I was packing it in a suitcase it wouldn't really need a bag. A few squirts of this in the morning lasts all day. If rose is your thing, I can recommend Paul Smith's version. My all-time favourite is Ralph Lauren's Romance,

The effect and characteristics of perfumes are different with each wearer, and what may fade quickly on one, lingers on another. The same applies, of course, to the smell and I have found the aroma of this Paul Smith Rose Eau De Parfum Spray to emit a pleasant flowery main tone - very 'rosey' but not in a overly feminine way, in fact perfectly suitable for a male who does not feel comfortable in or is tired of the more traditional heavy 'musky' blends so commonplace in the Men's ranges. And on me it lingers far longer than other much more expensive brands which is good because I am extremely partial to the smell of roses which this perfume so accurately replicates.

This was a blind buy for me. I was pleased but expected the fragrance to be just a touch sweeter. But that's just personal taste, can't knock the perfume.It is a realistic rose scent, very green and fresh. Again, lacks sweetness for me.Comes in lovely packaging! Very good quality bottle glass bottle with sturdy metal cap. The 100ml comes in a lovely rose print, drawstring pouchA lovely daytime spring/summer scent. Very inoffensive, would be suitable for work. Longevity, on me is not great, around 3 hours. May just be my chemistry. i was SO excited when this arrived today. im not usually one to go for a floral scent, but i love the smell of roses, so thought i would give this a try.EXCELLENT price on Amazon. the perfume comes beautifully packaged with the bottle in the most gorgeous little draw string rose bag. my only criticism is with the bottle itself. the spray nozzle was very loose and on the second time of taking the cap off the nozzle shot off too. whilst i have managed to fix this problem, it did rather take some of the shine off of my excitement.however, the perfume itself is simply beautiful and i would reccommend it to anyone that wanted a gorgeous elegant and feminine scent.

I usually don't care much whether a perfum is feminine or masculine. I just go with the best scent there is, whether it's for men or ladies. I won't describe myself as a parfum freak, but a nice scent doesn't hurt me at all. I have used a couple of parfums lately and they are all nice. So i decided to try this one, and I was pleasantly suprised.A lot of my friends have had one nice thing or the other to say about the scent, ad I absolutely love it. ..and Amazon price is unbeatable (in most cases).If you are looking for a perfum that smells so nice, and stay for at least 24 hours,...this is the one! Will I buy it again, I actually do every couple of weeks.

Love this perfume! I’m not sure why people say it’s a fake: Amazon usually sell things cheaper and it’s only about £8 more in Boots.I did receive the little rose Patterned bag but to be honest that doesn’t bother me in the slightest and it wasn’t marketed with it.The perfume is absolutely gorgeous and is light enough to wear everyday. People have commented that it is not particularly strong however I sprayed it on and could still smell it on my skin and clothes the next day so it lasts all day and longer. One spray is enough to get this effect, anymore would probably be overpowering. Glad I was able to get a large bottle, it’s becoming my new favourite.

moreish and delicately beautiful. This was a present for my mum but I kept on squirting it on myself while we were both on holiday. ( That is the point of mums, surely!) I decanted off some for myself in the end. It is always useful to gift something which you can use to gift yourself! If you love roses you will love this. The only thing that stops me giving it full marks is that is very gentle, which is what some people like, I know, Personally, I would rather have the monster juggernaut whiff of the Perfumer's Workshop Tea Rose Perfume - or as I like to call it, Death by Rose. One squirt could kill you off and raise you afterwards!
