Would have given it 5 if the chocolate melted quicker. It goes together easy and the instructions are easy to follow. Just make sure you read them through before starting.I got this for my 6yr olds birthday and we did it together with her 4yr old sister. I wouldn’t recommend leaving kids to it as if the breadsticks are too long they pop out and the sprinkles fly everywhere! We did it on the kitchen table so mess didn’t bother us. I tried the hot water melting method but it wasn’t fast enough so I popped the pot in the micro. That was a mistake as it melted a bit of the pot into a funny shape. So if your going to micro it do it on low power and with no water in the pot!We used chocolate buttons,Italian breadsticks broken in half and hundreds and thousands and the girls had great fun taking it in turns to make one and of course they got eaten straight away! You have to make sure you close the filter funnel once you let the sprinkles fly or they start flying back out again.Everything looks like it can be thrown in the dishwasher too, which is what i have just done.Good fun. Going to use some coconut next time. Yum.

Bought the day before xmas eve with next day delivery as my 3year old was going on and on and on about wanting this only a few days before the big day! It arrived very quickly at 11am xmas eve which gave me enough time to wrap and put in santas sack ready for delivery that evening. I saved this gift for her last present to open on xmas day and my 3 year old squealed with excitement when she tore the paper open. Needless to say it was money well spent to see how happy it made her. However in terms of use it's messy and expensive for what you get and lives on the top shelf of the kitchen cupboard now

My boys wanted this every time they saw the tv ad - & a lot of the reviews state you don’t need this toy for the end result - you could just dip the sticks in choc then sprinkles - while this is true- where is the fun in that for kids? They are being boring grown ups not thinking of the joy the kids will have pressing the button watching the sprinkles whirl round coating the choc covered sticks!! My boys 3 & 6 love this & I would recommend but only for less than £15 if that’s what you can get it for.

This was bought for a 5 year old’s birthday gift. It has been a great success but be aware you have to now buy chocolate, bred sticks and sprinkles galore to keep it stocked! Is it unnecessary plastic? Possibly, but nonetheless good fun and means children are at least eating something they have ‘made’ and not just bought at the shop.

My kids LOVED this. I would only recommend using cooking choc as it melts better, I used a knife to shave it first.Read instructions and don't use too many sprinkles 1-2 scoops is plenty. Like all products if you use cheap zinc batteries instead of alkaline it will effect the use product. We had no issues and have used it loads.

It's good fun once you get the chocolate melted - took two hours in the receptacle supplied, a bit too long for a child to wait, we gave up and melted the chocolate in a dish over hot water, much quicker and then poured it into the receptacle supplied.Good fun once the chocolate is melted, tasted delicious too.

My son desperate for this for Xmas was hesitant as expensive for what it is but was on top of his list so had to get it! You have to buy everything you need extra and batteries.... but he did really enjoy using it and end result was good! Lot better than chocolate lolly maker which we only used once last year!

Waste of money, don’t buy, it’s actually easier to just make them yourself at home with bowls!!!!Doesn’t even come with the breadsticks/chocolate/sprinkles or the batteries you need!!!! Not to mention it creates more mess than just doing it yourself!!!! Useless

I bought this for my 3 year old after he asked for it for Christmas, we’ve had lots of fun it’s really easy & quick to use and simple to clear up after, I would recommend buying short breadsticks as I got long ones but have to break them, very happy with it

Great for Xmas gift but thought was abit pricey being not included the sprinkles or bread sticks to even have one go and will have to go and spend another £5 to prob get choice if sprinkles and chocokate to use with item too,but think son will love this!

Read all of the poor reviews but glad we bought it as the kids (4 y.o.) love it. It’s over priced, doesn’t come with the perishables and is difficult to clean but makes for happy smiling children.

Yes it’s expensive but ours worked fine and was fun to use on Christmas Day. I can see us using it again as it’s not too much hassle, unlike other foodie toys we’ve bought in the past.

This is an excellent way for children to start thinking about baking and making food themselves. It is a fun way to teach children the basics and most importantly very tasty.
