Ask any lady of a certain age about Jean Patou's Joy eau to toilette and many will tell you that this "used to be the most expensive perfume in the world". I am not exactly sure whether this claim came from - presumably the Jean Patou marketing team - but I suspect it has never actually been true. There is always someone who is willing (and able) to afford "the best" and who define quality by the price tag.Joy is now relatively affordable. I bought this 30ml bottle (because I'm a cheapskate) and it had the desired effect. "Did you know that Joy used to be the most expensive perfume in the world?" was the immediate reaction from the recipient of this gift. It smells good too.

Ordered this perfume on behalf of my Dad for his lady friend. This is her favourite perfume and is quite difficult to obtain in shops, plus the price was excellent for the size of bottle. Delivery was so quick my Dad couldn't believe it as he has no computer. My Dad said his friend was delighted with her Birthday present. Excellent service !

This is the first time I have used this perfume and what a gorgeous perfume it is. Very delicate but beautiful. My only comment is that at this price it does not seem to last long, I feel it should linger through the day more, so for that it is slightly disappointing. I would buy it again as it is so enticing.

Having read about this retro fragrance in a sunday newspaper magazine the item jumped out to me as an ideal gift for my special friend who like me appreciates classic fragrances,and my first port of call to acquire some was Amazon who like the article in the magazine did not let me down.

i haved loved this perfume for a long time and was unable to buy it locally.superb delivery service and now have my very fave scent once more.....its a classic floral.and when i need more i will be returning to amazon for it.amazing price.thank you so much

Really pleased with order, this classic perfume is very difficult to obtain in department stores these days, as it is no longer stocked.It arrived before time. Excellent seller will order from them again.

I have worn Jean Patou JOY for many years - such a beautiful perfume which I keep for special occasions!Quite a distinctive, long-lasting scent perhaps best suited to the more mature lady

My favorite perfume at an excellent price. Spurred on by an article in "The Lady" which said it was £99.50 for 50 ml. This was £75 for 75 ml. and certainly seems to be the genuine article.

I love this perfume and have used it for many years. Have tried others over the years but always keep a bottle of Joy to hand. A very old perfume but to me still one of the very best.
