This review is based on the Classique Eau de Toilette fragrance by Jean Paul Gaultier for Women (100 ml), NOT purchased from Amazon, but bought elsewhere via eBay....trusted seller 99.8% rating.For me, this is simply my favourite Eau de Toilette (EDT) scent; I always go for EDT over Perfam and Perfume because it's more subtle and never overpowers a room.....I'll add here that I'm a bloke and I purchase this item quite often for the ladies in my life and I will confirm they all love it.Official description: A bold and sweet perfume that can be recognised with eyes closed. This scent opens with rose and follows through with an orange sweetness before mellowing out with vanilla and amber base.

This is truly a fantastic perfume!! I ran out ages ago so when this new bottle arrived I was delighted to be reminded just how gorgeous it is!! It also lasts quite well, which doesn't happen with many other perfumes. This one was just a tiny bottle as a treat for the summer & until I could afford a larger bottle but soon discovered how lovely it is to have a small bottle that I was able to put in my vanity case when I went away for a few days & so be able to use & enjoy, as the usual size is far too big to take away with me. In fact when you take the bottle out of its outer tin, it would easily fit in your handbag!!

Further to a previous review where a buyer said this perfume was tired and outdated???????? How can this perfume be outdated? Channel N0 5 maybe, but not this, never! This Is still, and always will be the best fragrance for women ever made (next to Coco Channel Mesdemoiselle). Every time I wear it I have so many compliments and I feel so lifted by the scent, it is AMAZING and so sexy! And I am not tired and outdated :/ This is young, vibrant and sensual and just the best! I loveeeeeeeeeeee it and am running low of my 100ml bottle :( I will definitely be buying more. I buy mine from a High Street store, around £70, so quite pricey, but worth every penny in my opinion!!!!!!!

I bought this when it was on offer as one of the lightning deals and was pleasantly surprised given that I hadn't been able to smell it before buying. The initial scent was a bit soapy compared to what I usually go for but once on the skin the fragrance is a lot more subtle and smells floral and feminine. I wear this most days when going to university and the scent stays well.I've seen some reviews which mention people receiving bottles which were tampered with and watered down - mine was absolutely fine and I am generally very shrewd about checking things like that.

Perfect. I was so amazed thinking it would be just in a box but when it arrived it was in a beautiful elegant Xmas tin with an extra surprise of Jean Paul Gaultier bogy lotion I was absolutely delighted with the DJ who was the seller was great. Good communication and very helpful as the delivery was just a couple of days late but that wasn't to the seller DJ it's Xmas and there's covid but kept me informed all to end. Thank you DJ for fantastic surprise and a beautiful gift for my daughter for Xmas she's going to be ecstatic x

As numerous others have said, mine also arrived in a squashed tin althought the packaging was undamaged - leading me to believe it was already damaged before transit! As the tin rattled, I knew it was broken inside so I didn't open it, avoiding the spillage that others had.A replacement was sent and arrived the following day...well done Amazon! The damaged perfume was collected two days later, sent back in the original packaging by arrangement...no charge and no hassle! The replacement was in perfect condition.

My husband has just treated me to a bottle of Madame - I have only just realised the price!!! It is well worth the money as a special little treat!! It will not be my everyday perfume as much as i would like it to be!! It is a fantastic, fresh and lively scent - I usually like musk perfumes but this is fantastic. Unlike other perfumes once you have sprayed it, it really seems to last a long time - especially on your clothing!!I would recommend this as one of lifes little luxuries!

JPG is a beautiful and distinctive fragrance which lasts all day. If you're looking for a light and fruity fragrance or something light for the working day, then maybe this is not the one for you, but if you prefer a richer perfume then this could be the one. It's a fragrance that's been around a while but it's still the one I opt for on a romantic night out with my other half as he loves it. The price was great too as it was available on a half price offer. Great news all round.

This product is extremely interesting. The smell is so capturing and it even looks great. The only thing i would say that needs to change is the outer packaging, it doesn't really go with the product, The packaging should look sophisticated like the glass bottle that holds the perfume. Although it is unique, i would recommend something less like a tin. I will definitely be buying this product again. My friends always say that it smells lovely and i have recommended it to them all.

This has been a favourite of my 21 year old daughter since she was 16. She still loves it - and so do I, except Im not allowed to wear it as it wouldnt be 'fair'!! Although expensive, it is well worth it because of the funky shaped bottle, the unusual 'tin' it comes in but mostly because the smell is wonderful and lasts a very long time. Its fresh, yet sophisticated and gets lots of lovely comments! It arrived quickly and was well packaged so no damage, definitely recommended!

This is my favorite perfume so to find it online at such a reasonable price is an added bonus. It looks authentic and it was all sealed so no cause for doubt. I haven't used it yet as I still have some of another one left but the small amount I sprayed on my wrist to test it lingered for a good while. It also arrived before the stated day and was well packaged. All in all if when I start to use this and all is as it should be I will definitely be ordering again.

For many years I snubbed this perfume as whenever I smelt it from the bottle or sprayed it on a card, I couldn’t stand it. My error was not testing it on my skin. It develops so beautifully with the warmth of skin and transforms into something wonderful. I now use this every day, as well as the EDP, which I wear in evening time. Adore both. Note to others: always test it on your skin-you’ll see what I mean... Plus it’s a real compliment receiver. Happy days!

I was a bit concerned about buying this due to some of the reviews stating it was not a genuine product. I've been wearing this perfume since 1999 (being told I smell amazing never gets old!) and this is most definitely not a fake (I have also compared it to my.current bottle which was bought from Debenhams) At such a good price I've immediately re ordered a second bottle for when this one runs out.

Bought as a present for my partner. Shes never worn this perfume before but absolutely loves it...and so do I.This purfume is really strong and lasts a long time so doesn't need as many sprays as some of the other perfumes. (she did have to wipe some off the first time as she sprayed too much and was too overpowering).Would recommend, eventhough not the cheapest perfume!
