This review is based on the Classique Eau de Toilette fragrance by Jean Paul Gaultier for Women (100 ml), NOT purchased from Amazon, but bought elsewhere via eBay....trusted seller 99.8% rating.For me, this is simply my favourite Eau de Toilette (EDT) scent; I always go for EDT over Perfam and Perfume because it's more subtle and never overpowers a room.....I'll add here that I'm a bloke and I purchase this item quite often for the ladies in my life and I will confirm they all love it.Official description: A bold and sweet perfume that can be recognised with eyes closed. This scent opens with rose and follows through with an orange sweetness before mellowing out with vanilla and amber base.

I purchased the EDT earlier this year and as I really liked the fragrance I decided to go mad and treat myself to the perfume for a change.It arrived very quickly,by courier I think,can't remember but was surprised it arrived so quickly.It was well packed and the perfume bottle is in a sweet little tin .The bottle is very pretty,the body is adorned with black lace etchings and looks lovely on the shaded are of my dressing table.The perfume strength product is very much stronger so mustn't drown oneself in it or it's too much.I use it in conjunction with the EDT for a longer lasting fragrance.If you want to get a nice gift for xmas this is highly recommended!I have just brought myself another 'tin'

This is truly a fantastic perfume!! I ran out ages ago so when this new bottle arrived I was delighted to be reminded just how gorgeous it is!! It also lasts quite well, which doesn't happen with many other perfumes. This one was just a tiny bottle as a treat for the summer & until I could afford a larger bottle but soon discovered how lovely it is to have a small bottle that I was able to put in my vanity case when I went away for a few days & so be able to use & enjoy, as the usual size is far too big to take away with me. In fact when you take the bottle out of its outer tin, it would easily fit in your handbag!!

Further to a previous review where a buyer said this perfume was tired and outdated???????? How can this perfume be outdated? Channel N0 5 maybe, but not this, never! This Is still, and always will be the best fragrance for women ever made (next to Coco Channel Mesdemoiselle). Every time I wear it I have so many compliments and I feel so lifted by the scent, it is AMAZING and so sexy! And I am not tired and outdated :/ This is young, vibrant and sensual and just the best! I loveeeeeeeeeeee it and am running low of my 100ml bottle :( I will definitely be buying more. I buy mine from a High Street store, around £70, so quite pricey, but worth every penny in my opinion!!!!!!!

Just in case anyone is wondering, or a little paranoid if this is a genuine fragrance, it is! I bought some knowing exactly what to expect from a genuine bottle, and this did not fail. The bottle looks great, the sent lasts all day, can smell it all night on my neck and in the morning can still smell it if I rub my fingers on my neck and smell them! Everything about it is perfect! Also this bottle is dispatched from and sold by Amazon, that's the only reason I took the chance to try it.

My husband has just treated me to a bottle of Madame - I have only just realised the price!!! It is well worth the money as a special little treat!! It will not be my everyday perfume as much as i would like it to be!! It is a fantastic, fresh and lively scent - I usually like musk perfumes but this is fantastic. Unlike other perfumes once you have sprayed it, it really seems to last a long time - especially on your clothing!!I would recommend this as one of lifes little luxuries!

This has been a favourite of my 21 year old daughter since she was 16. She still loves it - and so do I, except Im not allowed to wear it as it wouldnt be 'fair'!! Although expensive, it is well worth it because of the funky shaped bottle, the unusual 'tin' it comes in but mostly because the smell is wonderful and lasts a very long time. Its fresh, yet sophisticated and gets lots of lovely comments! It arrived quickly and was well packaged so no damage, definitely recommended!

This is my favorite perfume so to find it online at such a reasonable price is an added bonus. It looks authentic and it was all sealed so no cause for doubt. I haven't used it yet as I still have some of another one left but the small amount I sprayed on my wrist to test it lingered for a good while. It also arrived before the stated day and was well packaged. All in all if when I start to use this and all is as it should be I will definitely be ordering again.

For many years I snubbed this perfume as whenever I smelt it from the bottle or sprayed it on a card, I couldn’t stand it. My error was not testing it on my skin. It develops so beautifully with the warmth of skin and transforms into something wonderful. I now use this every day, as well as the EDP, which I wear in evening time. Adore both. Note to others: always test it on your skin-you’ll see what I mean... Plus it’s a real compliment receiver. Happy days!

Haven't bought this as parfum via Amazon as yet but it's on my wish list. A few of the reviewers here thought that they might have received eau de toilette instead of eau de parfum (two different things) but Amazon confirmed that the 'Jean Paul Gaultier Classique Eau De Parfum Spray for Women 20ml' is Parfum and that the inventory is correct and the item is as shown on the website. So that's cleared that up!

a classic that cant be beaten, may be a weakend formula compared to the 8os original powerhouse formulation, but exactly the same like all gd perfumehouses today they are cangeing the formulations to keep costs down wich is a shame but yes tis the real deal its longjevity just seems to of waied slitely but non te fact its still the same classic it alayws has been,

I buy this for my wife, it saves on imagination at xmas and birthdays. This is a truly sensual scent and really has "it". I find it a (the) most feminine and defining, overtly sexual, scent. Of course these things are so personal but when I stop feeling alive after smelling this it's time to take up bowls and wear trousers that stop just under my arm pits..

It's quite difficult to describe a fragrance in writing so. But I will give it my best shot... Imagine you are on a sun kissed beach with the fresh sea breeze cooling your face. It's nothing like that :). I will continue buying this though, Eau de Toilette due to the small amount of essential oils generally lasts about 4 - 6 hours at best.

I cannot believe that this was the real stuff, sent super fast, and a third of the price!!! i really thought that it was too good to be true and was expecting something to be not right but i was more than pleasantly surprised - i will only buy my perfume from here from now on and would recommend them to anyone!! thank you!

Very pleased with delivery, packaging and price of the above perfume. Arrived promptly, with a few samples added for good measure, which were well appreciated and gave me the chance to try perfumes I may not have otherwise done. Would have no hesitation in using this supplier again or personally recommending it to others.
