At first I thought this might last 12 rides and washes. . However after about 12 hours in the washing machine you will need to get a few stiches on the corners of the shin padding as its glued on. Not a big deal but they should be sewn on. Despite that they are worth it in every way. Much more comfortable (it is a sock afterall) and not near as hot as hard plastic protection. Yes the protection DOES work, I never slipped a pedal but my front wheel. A few friends now use them and they love them too. I'm buying a second pair.

I think the socks are very good. To wear warm, keep warm and provide biking by the Walt sufficient protection on the legs. I have 2 pairs of it now and everything is fine. Absolutely recommended for the reduced price.

For me, everything Ok, contrary to some opinions, it is easy to put on and take off, certainly recommendable to those who do not want to put on a full shin guard, but still want to ensure a basic level of protection.
