WARNING!!!!! this is NOT a toy. I ordered this for my son a few days ago and to my horror and surprise, up turned a flat bed truck with a swimming pool on the back that contained an actual LIVE dolphin. His name is Hank and he seems to have been taken from the wild as he is very timid and afraid. I tried to give him a fish and he pissed all over my new scuba mask, My mum got me that mask from Tenerife so I was saddened by the disrespect. eventually I attempted to use the RSPCA and put all responsibility on them but they refused to take Hank due to his size, aggression and the fact that he's a sea creature, not a dog. In the end I had no choice but to bludgeon him to death with, ironically,

My daughter put this on her xmas list for santa this year but after reading previous reviews saying that this is more suited for a younger child I did try to dissuade her. However, she was adamant so she got this as her main gift from santa and I have to say she does love it. I suppose it depends on the child rather than age but have only put 4 stars as it's early days yet and only time will tell how much she will play with it. It is very big and cuddly tho and I have a feeling she will be cuddling into it in bed at night.

I can not wait for my daughter to open this on christmas day. She's seen these a few times, we've had a little play with one in the shops too. I'm impressed and think it's well worth the £28 I paid. I would have paid more to be honest! I can't fault this toy one bit! Completely love it, it's adorable and very cute!Delivery was very quick, it arrived within 2 days of me purchasing it and the packaging was very good! Nothing was damaged or wrecked. Toy is excellent quality and worked great. I definitely recommend this!

My daughter begged for this for her birthday and I bought it when I saw it reduced from £50 to £40, she was over the moon when she opened it. The dolphin is quite big and surprisingly cuddly. It doesn't do an awful lot except make some noises and look very cute. As a parent it can get annoying very quickly but it's for my daughter and she loves it. It is expensive for what it is, but that seems to be standard with kids toys these days. It does what it's supposed to so any child won't be disappointed with it.

My granddaughter was thrilled to bits with her Dolphin. She had seen it advertised on television and begged and begged for one for her birthday. Mummy is driven mad with the recorded dolphin sounds but the five year old has learned to put her hand in the Dolphin's mouth if the dummy is not at hand and this has the same effect. Blu Blu goes off to sleep in seconds!The toy is soft and cuddly enough to be a bedtime companion and can be switched off if necessary.

We bought this for my granddaughters 7th Birthday she loves it . The only thing I was upset about was the demo mode did not work this made me wonder if it was broken or not . I had left it in the brown Amazon box and never tried it until I was wrapping it up . Luckily my daughter did have some batteries in the house and sigh of relief it worked . How disappointed my granddaughter would have been if there were no batteries in the house or worse still broken .

Fantastic, my daughter wants it for xmas i thought it was too young for her (she is nearly 7) but after reading reviews and looking up the item, i ordered anyway. Great pricebest i could find only line as most store sold out or very expensive. Received the item very fast & is brilliant, she will love it, it quite large the eyelids move and makes great sounds. Definitely recommended

This was the only present our granddaughter wanted from Father Christmas and to see her face when she removed the wrapping paper was priceless! A beautiful soft toy that makes the most soothing noises, very calming not just at bedtime and not just for children - I really enjoyed holding and stroking Blu Blu on the odd occasions I could prise it away from our granddaughter!

This was my 5 yr old daughters main christmas gift and she loved it. She still plays with it now 4 months on so was worth the money even though I was skeptical when she asked for it. I wish there was another big one though as I know you can get the little ones but we have a 4 yr old as well who would love one but doesn't want the dolphin.

The dolphin is bigger than I expected, I was wary of buying as I thought this would be a novelty toy and I paid full price for it, when my daughter received it she was over the moon, but after a week the novelty wore off, the toy itself doesn't do much, and will go to sleep if not played with for 5 minutes to save battery life

Recently purchased blu blu for my daughters 5th birthday. She had wanted one for months. She absolutely loves it. She now goes to bed every night settling much better than she's ever done before so just for that reason alone it was worth every penny! Although I still can't see the massive fascination with it.. Kids love it

Just got this for our 9 yr old for her birthday. I thought it was too babyish but thats the one thing she asked for. She was so excited when she opened present. Shes played non stop made it go to sleep fed it. Only thing for us its not got a low sound button as quite noisy. Its big bright cuddley very cuteWorth the money.

Bought this for 3 year old for Christmas and us has been a huge hit not only with my daughter but with her grandparents also. She loves it so much she has taken it to bed doesn't do as much as other similar type toys on the market but it isn't too complicated for a small child to work out how to use, would recommend

I hate it. But my 5-year old daughter loves it. She takes him/her to bed, teaches it things, feeds it, etc. Batteries were included which was an unexpected (nice) surprise. Works as described. Pretty good quality. Because of her love for it I'm finding that it's growing on me. No doubt like her future husband.

My grandson played with Blu Blu round a younger friends house. He liked it so much he asked for it for Christmas this year. Needless to say Nanny has bought it, wrapped it and its waiting to be delivered by Santa! Got it from toysrus for a good price - it pays to shop around for this item.
