Fantastic purchase couldn't be happier with the phone! [Does have a little bit of bloatware but not unbearable] It's not worth the risk of Rooting at the moment. I have two recommendations if you do this phone:Firstly disable BlinkFeed, I don't really need to loads of articles [often of the same stories] and I doubt many people need that either. I can see the appeal for some people but I just don't need the distraction.Next up install Avast Free Mobile Security. It has some brilliant features, covering locking apps [Only two in the free version] to the incredibly useful SMS commands, if someone steals your phone you can use the website or whoever you put in as a friends phone.The commands range from LOCK [Adds a loud siren which can't be turned down,

Very disappointed with the phone. First the volume buttons didn't work properly, then the protective screen foil started peeling off and the worst is that now after one month my phone decided not to function any more after auto updating.*Update I have contacted HTC customers services UK and they have discovered that my phone is from the USA so when updating the European software conflicted the American one so this is the reason why it is not working any more. The solution for that is to go to the HTC USA website download and reinstall the software from there. As a piece of advice, contact the seller and check the origin of the phone before purchasing it

I play a lot of games on it and listen to music hence why I have to charge it everyday. It requires a Nano sim card, don't attempt to cut it by yourself instead go to carphone warehouse or a phone shop to get them to cut your sim card down to size.Also you have to make sure the phone has been factory reset before loading any data or memory card into it as this can affect the phone ring and notification tones.

Beautiful phone - Just sorry I didn't buy one of these a year ago - Music is everything to me - the best smartphone music player I have experienced (tried many iPhones, Samsung's, Nokia's, etc.) I crave loudness in my music and this delivers. Drives my Shure IEM headphones a treat. I rarely give 5 stars unless exceptional.Seller was quick to dispatch and it arrived in perfect condition - so thank you.

Arrived much sooner that predictedWorks well, very smooth in use and in the hand. Even iphone hippies think it looks niceBattery life is better than I expected, just about lasts a busy day and easily lasts most daysA great relief after my last phone which by end of use was slllooooowwwwwwwwwwww and prone to heavy battery use

Quite new to the world of mobile 'phones, but very happy with this purchase. Excellent 'phone with more features than I'll probably use. Even with the case, not heavy or awkward to use. Although I haven't used all the built in apps etc. I haven't experienced any problems. Overall, everything seems to be fine. Royb.

good all round phone ,my first smart phone but my daughters & wife have had i phones & now they all have htc's on android, good battery life easy to use once u get used to & takes the odd knock when dropped as i work on a building site .

This phone truly is a thing of beauty. I recently bought one because I missed Android (I also have a iPhone 6) and I actually prefer this phone! It looks better and performs better. Also has the added benefit of expandable storage.

so many features, and a large high def screen, on initial use you get so much phone for your money, if reliability and battery life stay good ( a failing on earlier HTC models ) this is a good value, high spec smart phone.

This smart phone was a replacement for a bricked unit. Subsequent to receiving it the upgrade to marshmallow went without any problems. The M8 is a very versatile phone and an equal to anything that Apple has on offer.

Really pleased with this phone and supplier. Came as described and works well. Delivery was quicker than expected and packaging was just right with everything we needed to get started. Would definitely use again.

After having a negative experience from the Samsung s5 I chose the htc from previously owning the htc desire. Great phone. Quick to set up and use. Feels great and I love the attention to sleek detail.

upgraded from the htc one m7 to this and the speed and use is so much improved,newest android operating system,and the dot case'cover is amazing,lovely phone from a great supplier

Just love these phones. Dropped mine and got a different make but hated it. So glad to have HTC. Bit scary it was in Chinese but guessed words to change it.
