HP make great printers and a colour laser jet for this sort of price is rare. It runs well, gives a nice print. The light flashing all the time is a little annoying. Setup on WiFi network is frustrating as it takes a losing time without feedback (no screen on printer). I tried using the software you can download but that failed to connect and setup even when the printer was plugged in via USB. In the end my second attempt at using WPS worked

Bought as a replacement for an HP Inkjet. Much more reliable re: print quality (particularly for scan/barcodes). Had some difficulty setting up via the HP Smart app - needed to resort to laptop to complete. Fine once done. Takes a while for first print but great after initialising. Instructions are a bit sparse - bit of trial and error involved. Other than that, a great printer which should adequately serve the needs of home use.

I use Linux software.A Linux driver is not supplied on the disk.I hunted the web for a driver including the HP Linux referral site, nothing.Contacted HP telephone support where a very nice lady in India spent quite some time looking as well. She found something hopeful and sent it to me.The printer is now working very well, thanks to the nice Indian lady who was bothered enough to make a more informed search for me.

It was so easy to set up, you should be within a reasonable distance of your wireless router for the initial set up then you can move it to where ever you want to. Everything you need is on the HP smart app, this printer does not scan or copy, but the app does and all you do is print it. The printer will print from your PC, Tablet or phone as long as it's connected to the same WiFi network.

Printer set up is very easy with the HP smart app. Once set up the device can connect wirelessly to your network and you can print from any device, PC, phone or IPad using AirPrint, or if you need to edit before printing, using the HP smart app. Print quality is excellent, but slow to print when in colour. Definitely a great little printer, perfect for home printing.

Setup is not too difficult if instructions are followed.Footprint of the printer seems slightly larger than photos once you take into account the A4 tray protruding out of the front.Generally quiet. Only thing is the power LED seems to flash on occasion, so I need to stick something over that to avoid the annoyance.

Bought this second hand, when it arrived there were a few marks on the back of the sheets that printed out, but these must have been knocked out of the cartridge during transit as since then the printouts have been perfect without smearing on the back of the page.

Printer is really good to use. Was so easy to set up and the quality of print is great. Watch out for putting too much paper in the tray. I made that mistake but it was my fault.

Easy to set up even for a technophobe. Doesn’t print on both sides (unless that’s me that hasn’t worked it out yet) but that’s not a problem for my usage.

Good quality machine that I would expect from HP, quick to set up and works well with commands from mobile phone and laptop. Would recommend.

This really was a brilliant but tho Did not realise how much the replacement cartridges/toners are tho ....
