This is quite a big, heavy printer and it feels like something that will last. The print quality is good, even on cheap paper, and the price I paiud was very reasonable. Check the spec before you buy though: this does not have duplex, for example. It's fairly quick and more than adequate for correspondence but probably not up to large-scale production of flyers. Setting up for Windows 10 was pretty easy: I downloaded the installation package from the Brother website, which is more recent than the one enclosed. I'd certainly recommend it to anyone who wants a reasonably priced colour laser/LED printer for Linux too. The automatic setup did not work so once again I downloaded a setup utility: there are versions for Ubuntu and Fedora.

Looked for a new colour laser model to replace an HP colour laser (with only cable to device connection which was inconvenient with our several devices now capable of connecting directly to WiFi printers).This printer appeared at a bargain price just as one of the HP cartridges needed replacement.Price consideration favoured buying this similar Brother printer which comes loaded with starter cartridges.Cartridges are large capacity like the HP, but benefits from top loading so occupies less space because it not as tall.Print quality is first class whether for business, academic or home use. Please, please why was there no usb plug adapter included considering the price? Also life would be a lot easier for those who are not as computer literate if a manual was included so without the the need to spend ages trying to download the correct version in a format we could read. The display is not easy to follow without simple straightforward instructions, an 'idiots' guide would have saved me hours of frustration.

The LED printer is good value saving approx. £200 on the competition.As it is Wifi able to relocate into the kitchen and use the computer in the lounge.It is very neat but obviously a little larger than just a black and white.Very happy with its performance. and value for money.

If you have a i pad and want a printer to connect to and use through wi-fi , this is perfect , does what is says on the box and is well made .can also be connected to a pc or laptop through standard cable ,

It was a great experience and the printer is in spotless condition. Bought it for parts to repair my older printer and the condition is just outstandingly good, way beyond my expectation. Many thanks.

This is the best decision regarding printers, to buy this Brother HL-3140CW printer, I got fed up with laser jet printer inks drying out, NO MORE!!! Brilliant.

incredibly easy to set up with wi fi via hub..quality of print seems fine, nothing to grumble about at this price.
