I bought this to replace a Brother mono laser printer I have had since 2014 and which finally gave up the ghost. Having got quotes from local repair centres of £50 + parts to fix it I decided to buy a new one instead.The model I had being discontinued this one seemed the closest to it. It is exactly the same size and price of my original yet does much more, such as automatic double-sided printing, built-in menu screen and has a front paper bypass. It also prints faster and with crystal sharp print.It is quieter than my original Brother printer and although it takes a completely different toner cartridge, these are very reasonably priced at about £30-35 each.

I needed a printer for home, very rarely used and consuming a minimum space. At the same time I wanted it contemporary in terms of functions, interfaces and quality. This model is the best I've found for the money. It is remarkably ergonomic in shape and size - perfectly fitted in a standard width drawer, so not consuming desk space at all. Print speed is fair enough for my purposes.Given the above, the only thing I find weaker compared to my old DocuPrint is the initial toner capacity of 700 pages - I had 2500 before.

After many terrible experiences with inkjet printers (HP 7612 being far and away the worst!) we finally bit the bullet and decided to try this laser printer. Turned out to be a good choice, the machine was hooked up to the network and printing within 5 minutes of cracking the box.Print speed (both single and double sided) and quality is excellent - we're now printing the first sheet within 20 seconds of sending it.rather than the 12 or minutes minutes of the old HP. Runs quiet enough for me.

Replacement for my 25-year-old HP Laserjet 4 Plus. Was impressed by Brother’s ethical rating. Set-up was easy (including wireless), I followed the instructions and didn’t rush. I adjusted the settings to Eco/quiet mode to save power and reduced the amount of ink used for printing (pages still look great, printed around 30 pages and the ink monitor hasn’t moved!) Features I am really happy with include: print quality, wireless, paper tray, solid output tray, duplex mode, design and build quality.

Bought to replace previous model (HL-L2250DN) which needed new toner&drum (cost more than replacing with 2350). Once set up it provides trouble-free printing. However, it is wifi only (no ethernet port for hard-wiring to network) although there is a USB connection for linking direct to your PC. The wifi was a bit fiddly, but once the password has been accepted (labouriously feeding in by pressing the up or down arrows and selecting each letter or number individually) it works like a dream.

Fancy a printer thats easy to get to grips with,well this is it. The Brother features wireless wifi printing from all of your home or office computers or you can also print from your smart phone or compatable tablet. The auto duplex function works well for printing both sides of the page and the print quality is great for general usage.I would not recommend this printer for photo printing as there are printers more geared to that. You can also buy compatable toner ink which saves a fortune.

After been in lockdown and needed a printer pretty much every day for the kids schoolwork we came to use our old inkjet printer and what a surprise after 2 months of not been used it didn't work, the jets were clogged and we wasted 2 more cartridges trying to run the cleaning.Enough was enough and we looked into Laser printers, we were surprised at the price to be fair as it was lot cheaper than we were expecting. Printer came next day and has been amazing. No more inkjet problems

I was absolutely delighted with this printer. There were others in a similar price bracket with obvious pros and cons - compare print speeds, double sided printing, and whether it is wifi enabled: good on all these fronts. CDRom install does take a long time, Android and Apple app drivers available on-line. But the reason I am delighted is that the printer can be left "on" in totally inactive standby, and yet print perfectly on demand without me having to hover over it.

Nice, neat little printer, fits nicely under the television stand out of the way.Was a pain to set up using the disk, even when using a cable, as the set up screen wouldn't find the printer, even though my computer had recognised the printer and vice versa. So I abandoned the set up screen and skipped through to the end and it seemed to sort itself out. Very quick and easy to send items to print from both phone and laptop with nice quality (b&w) prints.

I bought this printer as I was looking for a more long term solution over regularly buying inkjet printers, I regularly use laser printers at work and do the odd repair. I chose this printer down to its reliability, ease of use, cost effective parts and toner.The setup was seamless connecting to our home WiFi, along with installing on 2 windows 10 machines, windows 7 machine and our Android phones.I would highly recommend this printer!

Great printer. Mainly used for my card making and foiling. It has a manual feed at the front so you can feed through thicker cardstock. I have noticed though that it leave random ink residue sometimes which is annoying so I tend to do a few test prints to warm it up first, sometimes this solves the problem. It also took a while to set up as it wouldn't connect to my wireless internet but you can set it up using a cable (not provided) I belive

You must go to Brother downloads for driver site for the appropriate driver and software which is in my case is an iMac - Yosemite and above (which I neglected to do at first) I used the CUPS driver which gives all the best options of print. Using the buttons to get the correct sequence for different paper and print options will take some practice I think. I'm told by a couple of experts to buy Brother toner to avoid all kinds of hassle.

I like the printer its very easy to set up. The best thing is about air printing and it's superb, thats why I like this printer as I like to painting stuff from my smart Phone rather than using a laptop etc. The only dowside is that it only prints black and white and i didnt read the specs properly before buying. I would've given 5 star rating if it had colour printing facilities. Othereise It's an excellent printer for smart users.

This printer is light, easy to operate and ideal for the home, or small home office. The WiFi is a doddle to set up, as is printing from my mobile using the Brother scan/print app. All settings are easy to alter using the controls or via the printer's IP address via a browser. Double sided printing - setting needs to be set up as default is one-sided printing. Simply put, it's a great, value for money, monochrome printer. Get one!

We wanted a dependable printer for mono documents, and to avoid expensive ink cartridges. We're often away and expensive, seldom-used inkjet cartridges can dry out during absences. The Brother provided a perfect solution! Even after weeks of printing inactivity, it produces crisp, sharp copies from sheet one. Per-copy costs are low, a great advantage of dry toner powder over liquid ink. The printer is both fast and quiet, too!
