I did a lot of research on printers. For my budget I chose this printer but I am missing the automatic double sided but couldn't justify going into the next price bracket so it can be done but manually.Before purchasing the printer I also researched how much the new toner cartridges were & also compatible cartridges that won't effect the waranty.I can highly recommend the printer. The speed is great, and the quality.It goes into sleep mode to be more eco friendly too.

Straight forward printer to setup, I have it on the wifi and configured so everybody can print to it easily. Took minutes to set up and does what it needs to do well... print :)We use Brother printers at work and they have been very reliable and affordable so it was an obvious choice to pick the brand for home.No problems recommending this printer to anybody that wants a neat, efficient colour laser printer that comes with toner and is ready to go out of the box.Simple.

Printing can be very expensive with ink jet printers as well as being liquid ink that can soak the paper or dry up and not work. However this is a colour printer using four tonner cartridges supplied with the printer. I brought this printer after reviewing on YouTube for printing for wedding I printed 400 newspapers wedding stationary before the tonners run out these where full A4 sheets full colour but you can reset the cartridges and carry on

You have to buy a printer based on your specific requirements. I had an HP inkjet but I only need to print maybe 5-10 A4 sheets per week. The trouble with inkjet is that it needed to use so much ink just to clean the print heads every week. £35 for 4 new cartridges and I swear I was getting no more than 250 A4 sheets. I believe that laser avoids the constant need to use ink to clean the print heads. I highly recommend this printer.

We purchased this printer as I am an avid crafter and I was spending a lot of money per month on ink. This machine is definitely much better in respect of quality and with the toner, yes it will be an expensive purchase however it is one purchase that you will only need to make months after and not every month. What it will cost to replace the toners for this printer I spent over 3 months in the ink for my old HP. Very happy.

Bought to replace an old Dell and wanted to run this off a USB connection. But Microsoft Edge in Windows 10 wouldn't print emails and even Brother hotline couldn't sort it. So reinstalled the driver and went wireless. Works perfectly now. Good print quality at a good ppm speed. Laser toner included but only a start up set so not sure how long they will last. Apart from the set up issues I'm very pleased.

The box gave me a shock with the size when i first sat it as I'm used to the old inkjet printers. It's big but not too big. Took 10 minutes to unbox and set up, and now I'm loving the fact that we can all print anything we need any time we need and not have to worry about the ink drying out!So pleased this brand was recommended to me and I didn't go back to the HP i previouly had

Purchased this machine because the ink to print ratio works out far cheaper in the long run. I also wanted a printer that does duplex print as this machine does. The print does seem a tad jittery but is plenty good enough for printing off receipts and even College work for The girls. It's not a photo printer but very zippy. Large machine 15kgs.

Its a big, heavy machine compared to my previous Samsung. Print quality is good and seems pretty reliable on wireless. Set up isnt the most straightforward though. My girlfriend is usually ok with tech but couldnt get this working right without help. I used a guide from the net and it took me a few mins.. she only had the bundled instructions.

I bought this laser printer to make working from home easier. Much quicker, quieter, better quality and cheaper to run than my old inkjet printer which was only intended for occasional use. I chose this Brother printer because it was the only one available for collection during COVID-19 lockdown. Very happy with it.

Excellent quality. All 4 toner cartridges full - not "shipping" rip-offs.Set-up was both quick and easy.Within 20mins I was printing from a Windows 7 gas-powered laptop, an iPhone and an Android tablet.Not the quickest to process and print but, for the price, I couldn't be happier.Note: it is heavy!!

Printer took a little time to get the wireless connection to work. Once established it has been reliable.The pages print out quite fast, crisp and clear. Its colour prints are reasonably good, but it is not a photo printer,I would recommend this printer for anyone who needs to print a lot of pages quickly.

Easy to set up, managed to do via the recommended app from my phone in 5 -10 minutes.It does take a few minutes to warm up and get data over wifi- but print quality is ok- both colour and black and white.Just beware it is pretty big and heavy and somewhat noisy- but great for the price.

After years of frustration with ink jet printers, finally took the plunge with this laser model. So long as I get a lot of prints per cartridge, I'll be happy as it was quick and easy to set up (tho is VERY heavy), wakes and prints quickly and quality of prints is excellent. Very pleased.

challenging task to connect this printer to wifi, it would be easier with a USB cable for PC / MAC to download the software.The printer must be connected to a WLAN (wifi in this case) some error in the instructions. after connecting everything goes quite smoothly
