I had kind of hoped this might have been steel as it's non sale price was around £25. I picked this up for half price and for that money it's totally fine - if I had paid full price this would have been 2 stars.So, for £12: the plastic is slightly above average but not especially thick or robust - it does not flex under the weight of my laptop however, not at all. It holds y 15" HP Envy fine with about 1 cm spare either side (which is perfect) and there is around 4cm spare in terms of depth if your laptop is a little deeper.There is space underneath to run cables to help keep your desk tidy.At sale price (£12) I would recommend without a problem but it's not worth £25, not nearly.

it just arrived today, straight away you can tell it's good quality, looks great, very lightweight. Really really happy with my purchase.

Used as a stand for my laptop (15" screen) but would be OK for larger ones.
