We have got through countless thousands of Hama beads over the years (well tens of thousands actually). At first the children (under about 7) would be absorbed for a few days with beading and get bored. But they always came back a month or two later for some more beading. Only ironing the results was tiresome (for me) sometimes. and some designs were not so robust (we have several Dragons without tails)Now the kids are a little bit older they are more discriminating. If a person is being beaded then they need the right colour skin - and these beads satisfy that need (at least for a pale Scandinavian skinned look).

After my little boys recieved the Hama UFO Glow Mobile set for Xmas, we can't seem to make any Hama creations without having some glowing element in there! Therefore, we've had to buy several new packs of night-glow beads, of which this is one.Out of the different glowing colours the red beads tend to glow the most brightly, closely followed by the green. Even though these look a bit pink and "girlie" in the daytime, (according to my little boys), by night they really do glow a fantastic red colour and the glow lasts quite a while. The packet that they come in seems really small - but there are supposedly 1000 beads in there, (I haven't bothered counting to check!!), and they really will last and last.

I love this, I use hama beads myself for pixel art craft projects and have been keen to find a dark grey for ages.I'm glad to find this noticeably darker than the regular grey and yet not as dark as black (I feel I am stating the obvious, but if you want this colour for shading then it goes in between the two nicely).A note on the beads in general, I love the quality of hama products; compared to alternative brands available in the UK they have a more consistent melting temperature making it easy to iron designs using a variety of colours. Also they have a nice feel to them, good opacity and the right amount of shine. The midi range are easy to hold on to with your finger tips,

stunning colour hamma beads my daughter loves hama beads this handy pack makes a great stocking filler to add to other beads you may have, these beads are a lovely colour and a colour which wasnt in her big tub of hama beads so was great to have a new shade of blue. they work the same as all hama beads do.you will need a hama bead peg board to use these if you haven't already used hama beads before.if you have any questions about these beads or how to use them with the peg boards feel free to ask and i will happily help you in anyway i can.

It’s sad to say this but even me as an adult enjoy doing these with the kids I actually find using these beads is very relaxing and can release stress, We have made many things using the beads I took a picture of an example of a few things me and my son made but we seem to have used all the grey in our large tops so we bought this replacement pack, I have also replaced blacks as they are one of the most used colours we recently bought a second top and now are okay on most of the other colours for awhile but will be buying more.

As an adult I enjoy doing hama beads with the kids and sometimes even on my own? we have made many things and purchased many refill packs, so if you are thinking of buying these it is a definite to do so, if you have one of those kids that shouts at the tv when they’re playing games because they got killed this is a good alternative to calm them down, like I previously said it is very calming and really fun and you can make some real cool stuff.

I often find myself running out of single colours when making Hama creations so I decided to buy some single colour packs rather than the painstaking task of sorting through a 10000 bead tin. The beads arrived very promptly, there were a few issues with some beads that were deformed or the wrong colour, a replacement was sent as quickly as the original order. I'm super impressed with this service, and I love the product, will order again soon!

Hama beadsWe as a family get so much joy out of these tiny beadsMy granddaughter loves the Maxi beads and we are fans of the Midi beadsThe larger tubs offer so many colours to create many thingsWe made some designs at Christmas to pop on our tree & even made some for our Christmas fair to sell at school to raise funds for more Hama beadsThey are educational and loved by many children as well as mine .

We have always had other versions of Hama beads as they have been cheaper. These are the first Hama beads I have bought as I wanted some flesh coloured ones to make our creations more realistic!! The others have always been fine but its obvious that the true Hama versions are thicker and better quality. They aren't cheap so I am pleased to see you get extra for your money.

A great addition to our little girls Hama bead collection.Much better than buying the mixed bag and being left with all the rubbish at the end like crimbo with the coffee creams.Good strong colours, a consistent size and they melt together well.Obvious quality, in a different league to the cheap rubbish copies.We won't be buying any other brand from now on.

I used these beads along with others for Brownies to make Christmas tree decorations, and they were amazed that their creations glowed in the dark and all went home 'glowing' with pride at being so magic. Hamma beads are always a favourite but they had no idea about the glow in the dark capability so when the lights went off they all shrieked with delight.

well this was a hit with my 9 year old nephew, he was very impressed that I got these. They actually do glow in the darkI bought the hama designs dragon, penguin and the house and he had a lot of fun with these as well as other simiar ones too.These seem to be the ones he liked the most but they looked nice mixed in with the other designs.

These are great to add to the other beads by Hama, I bought these for my niece and nephew and they were entertained for hours.They are really useful as the colour red is so useful when you are creating some of the lovely different designs that are available (seperately). The range is amazing that Hama have for both boys and girls.

I ordered these on a Friday and it arrived by Monday. Ordered from Wise Owl toys store off Amazon of course.THe beads are Hama beads, as described, in a pack of 1000.The colour is spot on - dark grey. Not shiny metallic. Just proper dark grey. Its a bit lighter than the online picture - but then that may also be my monitor!

I love Hama beads, we get them out if the kids are getting over excited & the fiddly work really calms them down. My kids are 4 & 6, so no great works of art - the small boards are best, as we get through fewer beads, and the kids don't get frustrated before they're finished. I use them for Halloween & Christmas decorations.
