This is a nice starter kit that has everything in it to provide plenty of enjoyment, but I agree with another reviewer that it was missing tweezers. You can get plastic children's tweezers and it would have been nice to have them included, as it is difficult to chase around little round balls in the bottom of a tray!However, the kit includes a large work tray, a bead tray, bead scraper, 5 shaped trays lots of coloured beads and a tool tray, so almost everything you need to set your little ones up and only have to buy refill beads.The beads provided came individually sealed in pre-sorted bags, so you only have to tip them into the tray, but they were very varied in the size of pack provided and some only had 10 beads in,

My daughter has really enjoyed this kit. We have opened all the packs, filled all the trays, used the dispenser and made a heart shape and she was quiet and engrossed throughout.The dispenser is very good (like a sweetener dispenser it occasionally fails to dispense, but a quick shake and try again), but so fiddly to fill. The old kit we had a more tweezer like system (push it down on to a ball and then lift it off) for moving balls one at a time and whilst this is better than that, the absence of tweezers makes moving tiny balls or catching them in the tray quite tricky even with 5-year-old fingers, with mine...The range of stencils and molds is very helpful and make a range of basic projects easy for all.The range of colours is excellent,

We really like Aquabeads, my 6 year old daughter had set before and she enjoyed it a lot but I’m slightly disappointed with this particular (Deluxe Studio) set of Aquabeads. The reason for this is that the picture on the box is misleading, the set does not come with all those beads that are shown in the star organiser (I’ve attached image of the amount that actually came with the set). Refill will be needed very, very soon...On the positive note it comes with handy, slide out storage box, much easier to open and close than smaller, pink container we had before.It comes with patterns, 5 shapes, including one 3D for the turtle shell. Also the tool to apply (rainbow pen)

I got this for my nieces and they absolutely loved it. My nieces are currently at junior school but they were blown away by the sheer range of creations they were able to create.Even my slightly older nephew got in on the act and started making his own creations.A couple of cons though, firstly, the amount of aqua beads you receive is not proportionate to the amount seen on the box, my nieces were through the beads in no time. But more can be purchased.Secondly the rainbow pen wasn't the easiest to use, which meant the children needed almost constant supervision while using this product.However, my nieces love this, and are completely want more, great thing to have for the summer holidays.

Loads and loads of fun with this 'deluxe studio'. Look out because the teeny beads have the potential to get everywhere...but there are tons of colours included in this set and it's a really lovely toy for children old enough to not try and eat the beads. Easy to use and play with, difficult not to take over! You assemble your design, spray it with water and then after a minute or two you can peel it away with the special gadget. Definitely recommended - for boys as well as girls.

Not 5 stars because although it states the quantity of beads in the set, the picture on box shows sections full, and there certainly is not enough to fill any of them. Quite fiddly and sometimes sticky beads stuck to fingers, but fun. Will have to buy refills as even with deluxe and beginners set together, only lasted about an hour before bead trays were empty. ( children aged 4 and 6 ) However, grandchildren enjoyed playing with them and were happy with their creations.

My son uses these all the time. He loves making them on a rainy day or to have somediwn time.Lots of beads in so many colours allowing him to create lovely little masterpieces.It's so simple to use witjout making a mess (unless you drop the beads!) & it's great that it can be uses completely independently by the child due to water being 'the glue' rather than having to iron them like other products.Definitely worth buying.

This was excellent fun to play with (with my 9 year old son). We are used to making the super mario version of this which is regimented so it was nice to experiment with anything we liked.The applicator pen for the beads is rather pointless, much quicker and easier with fingers. It takes about two hours for your creations to dry. Choice of colours is great, applying each one (with fingers) was great fun.

This Aquabeads Deluxe Studio set is saving the whole family from boredom of staycation. Not only it keeps little fingers busy and creative but also provides new toys after creating different shapes. I only wish there were more beads provided - there is much less included in the set than picture on the box is showing!!

Bought as part of daughters xmas gifts and she loves it; the applicator makes using the beads so much easier and the variety of colours adds to her fun as she told me (daughter is 11 ). It will be a while before she 'needs' to top up her beads lol.

Great kit. Bought for my 5 year old for Xmas. I would suggest buying extra beads though as 30 mins making things and she is getting low on some colours.Love the way the whole kit clips together - keeps her younger brother away from the beads!

My granddaughter (11) is thrilled with these and phoned to tell me how much fun she is having. I bought the extra bead pack as well, having read from another reviewer that there are not as many as the box indicates.

Bought this for my 4 year olds birthday.It's quite difficult to get the beads in to the pen and my daughter finds it hard to get the beads to come out into the right place. Other than that, it's fab.

This is a brilliant product. Love the shelves that you can keep everything in, and the dispenser works ok (great idea but a little fiddly). Able to re-stock the shelves with the replacement beads.

My kids liked playing with these and making creations. The reason they lose a star is because the placing tool is useless and they are not environmentally friendly due to the amount of plastic.
