This was bought – together with a box of Hama beads – for our 5-year-old granddaughter, following a suggestion from her parents.The two items apparently went down very well, and provided hours of play and entertainment. We were duly rewarded by the presentation of a butterfly that our granddaughter made with the set, which we were instructed to keep on display on our bedroom, and – later – by a circular smiley face, which now graces a windowsill in our kitchen.I have given this product four stars, rather than five, simply because I was not its principal user … and also because it’s manufactured from plastic, which raises environmental concerns.

This larger collection of pegboards is a must have if you are creating your own works of art, On the picture included in this review there are some snowflakes we made for the Christmas tree, we struggled because we only had at the time a small circle pegboard so it wouldn’t do the full size of the snowflake, so we had to balance a few extra beads after we made it and remelt them which was a little tricky we have since on the larger board made more and it is very easy, I would recommend this package and also the package of four larger square peg boards as if you are making a larger creation you can clip them together.

This is a great selection of boards. It is important to realise that it's more than just the shape of the board that is different; the layout of the pegs on each board matches it's shape. On the hexagonal board the pegs are arranged in hexagons, on the square board they are in squares. These 4 boards offer a great array of possibilities.

I know they said large but I was expecting something the size of a coaster so I am pleased with them. The square ped board also has slot so you can join it to other square shaped boards so you can create bigger pieces if you wanted to so you don't have to mess about trying to line them up and transfer things and miss aline.

Great - gives loads more scope for creativity than the small ones that come with the 10,000 bead set. You can make all sorts of things with these, from fairies and princesses, through letters and numbers, to (our favourite) Minecraft 'blocks'. Love it!

Very happy to have stocked on this set of boards for the small Hama beads. We have already tried them and liked them. The only problem is not having a board that would allow to make butterflies (several circular areas onto one single board).

These are great and are actually bigger than I expected, which was a bonus! They are really good for doing custom designs (just google them, you can literally make anything!) and for the price, they are a bargain! Really well made.

Good but very large: shame the posting doesn't mention the size if these boards nor what shapes are included (square, circle, heart & hexagon). However my daughter loves making then, especially the heart!

I had these when I was a kid, and now really wanted it for my little girl. I got the beads else where but wanted the bigger boards for her too. They arrived quickly, great condition and clean.

My eight year old has had hours of fun. The large peg boards have allowed her to be very creative. Hours of rainy day fun for all the family! Also a nice end of the day activity.

My daughter loves these big shapes. She can make her own designs on them, rather than just following the template of the smaller 'specific' shapes.

Arrived very quickly and exactly what they say they are. Hours have been spent using them already, with no issues at the time of heating the beads.

Less warping than other brands when ironed for too long. Same day delivery is very good when you destroy your child's boards in the morning!

Hama stuff is good quality and reasonable value. The kids love making pictures with their Hama beads for us to iron into coasters and gifts.

My daughter loves this as she can design what she wants, and the generic shapes allow for move imagination when playing with her Hama beads.
