This is a nice little set for stargazers !Hama beads are good fun for creative little hands (truth be told the adults in this house always get involved too !). There is a round board for creating stars and planets and the other board is square shaped for creating various designs like spaceships, rockets and similar. There is also the plastic ring as shown on the box for creating a mobile and thread for hanging. There are appropriately coloured beads for creating planets, spaceships etc. I have deducted 1 star simply for the fact there are only 2500 beads in the set as other sets do have quite a lot more but this is still a nice set.

Me and my 5 year old daughter made this and we were so impressed with the finished mobile. Has an instruction booklet so you can follow the design of the one on the box but my daughter also enjoyed designing her own alien and planet's. Easy to iron and loads of beads left over (gone in her hama bead box) the only thing which was a bit fiddly was tying on the designs, but she is "over the moon" with her space mobile.

My 5 year old totally adores this. We have enjoyed doing it together. The beads are small and fiddly but it is good for his fine motor skills and he enjoys counting how many beads to use and placing them to copy the pattern. I love that this also comes with everything you need to make it into a mobile too. Great product and really great price. Highly recommend!

Son bought it out of birthday money he had and is having a whale of a time with it. He especially likes it when we next add something to the ring. Have not hung it up yet, but so far so good and worth while purchasing. Not only is it keeping him entertained but he is learning too about the planets :) Nice selection of beads, nice size boards etc.

My son loves Hama beads and this set was the perfect edition for his space themed room. We are working our way through each of the designs ready to hang on the mobile with the enclosed string once completed. Really impressed with the amount of designs that can be made with this set, excellent value for money! Would highly recommend.

Brilliant for kids' fine motor skills and looks really cool. Five year old loves this and has spent ages happily making the designs by himself with minimal guidance. A great present for a 5/6 year old. Warning - grown up needs to help with attaching the strings and hanging up. And it's pretty tricky! Took me ages!

I would recommend this for older kids, perhaps 6+. The are very few instructions, I recommend using a torch! Took ages. Looks good finished though, about 400 beads left over, maybe more.Fiddly to string up, keeping the balance. keep the box to follow the pictures!

My boys love Hama beads and this helped our space project in lockdown. We did the solar system so extra to the suggestions but can be done easily. The ring isn’t the strongest - we broke it but easily fixed with a bit of tape. It’s still hanging up months later!

My son is know as the Hama head in our house! He's addicted to these. He's only five but loves anything detailed and skilled!He's spend 24hrs a day if he could.He has a space themed room so I thought this would go well once completed!

Everyone got involved - bought the glow in the dark white and red beads to use instead of the white and red/orange ones in the pack. The cotton thread is quite thin, so hanging it up is not easy, but it looks great. Very pleased with it!

Lots of fun when my 4 year old wants to concentrate. Needs help as he can't follow the pattern (to be expected of a 4 years old!) And he enjoys free play with it too to make his own shapes and patterns. Mobile looks good when completed.

Purchased twice. Once for a gift and once for my own children. Great for hand eye coordination and attention to detail. They loved being creative and my 6 year old was deep in concentration, matching up the patterns.

Got for 4 year old. The more complex designs (and fixing with iron) require help but he’s mastered the more basic shapes himself. Nice way to pass the time together and finished shapes look good.

Love Hama beads, really nice set, decent size box so nice for a gift, brought this for my sons friends 7th birthday and my son immediately put it on his Christmas list as soon as he saw it.

Lots of fun for both my 4 and 6 year olds. There's no design instructions but they were able to copy from the pics on the box. Will be buying more to give as gifts to their friends.
