Excellent waste bin with a rubber band that holds the bag in the inner bin. Hailo is a german firm and the bin is made in Germany, and comes in a variety of colours, including, according to their website a lime green one, which is what we wanted and is the colour shown in the picture, but it is described as lemon. as its much cheaper on amazon than elsewhere, we ordered it anyway - it arrived very quickly, and is indeed lime green! (although the box describes it as lemon in about six languages!). Great product, with 5 year guarantee.Within the first year the plastic parts at the base of the bin disintegrated and the foot pedal no longer worked. Could get no help from amazon over getting it replaced or in tracing a supplier to return it to.

Brilliant Kitchen Bin, it really is.This Hailo Pedal Bin is lovely and plain but still very stylish.The user does not have to be right in front of it for the pedal bar to lift the lid. That is a great advantage in a kitchen where space is at a premium, and the bin has to be fitted in where it can (like in my tiny kitchen!).The pedal bar and lifting lid has a very nice smooth action. Remember though, it does not have a soft close/slow close action on the lid!!I really, really recommend this Pedal Bin and I am so glad I purchased it.The outer part of the Bin unit is really sturdy and strong and is completed with a very sturdy handle on the back for lifting the unit in and out of its chosen place for cleaning.

..................so stylish in fact, I think I will have to have a new kitchen to accommodate it! So far, I am delighted with this purchase - great to look at and smooth pedal action. I have not yet had a full bin so cannot comment upon ease of inner bag disposal but some standard bags I had in fit well with no unsightly overlap.The construction looks sturdy and materials of good quality.Will aim to update this review when I have had the bin in use for a longer period of time but so far very pleased indeed.

I received the bin on the date allocated. Very pleased with it. Orange isnt to everyones taste, but it was for my business space and orange is in my logo. It would be good to do this bin in lots of colours. It doesnt look cheap and is the quality I would expect for the price. What makes a stylish space is the attention to detail! Its amazing how many clients will say they like my bin!! lol..sad as that might sound.

We are extremely pleased with this pedal bin. The pedal bin liner fits the bin very well and the pedal is very easy to push down with your foot. We are also very pleased that the colour matches the wall tiles in our kitchen. The bin is also very well made.

It is only thanks to Jack's review that we were able to purchase knowing that "Lemon" was indeed "Lime" - exactly what we wanted. Product is of excellent quality as we would expect from Germany. Well done Amazon (and Jack).

Clean lines & easy to operate. Very good for cleaning & changing liners. Beautiful depth of vanilla cream colour. Excellent addition to my kitchen & loving the compliments from friends & family about it too!

I love this bright orange addition to my kitchen. The inside has a handy feature to hold the waste bag in place. A decent size too. Not too big, not too small, just right!

We purchased this bin for our kitchen.It is good quality , and of strong construction and a great colour that goes well in our new kitchen.

This bin is ideal for people who like to have a smaller bin to empty regularly. It looks great to have something different from chrome.

Replaced an older similar model. Nice and bright and well made, but not sure how long the elastic bag strap will last. Time will tell

Nice looking Bin. Perfect for my small kitchen. Great pedal action and I do like the removable bin inside. Easy to keep clean.
