The other version of this bin on Amazon is a 24 + 7L the 7 sounds rather small to me. Ideal might have been 20+10 for some flexibility so in some ways 15+15 is a compromise.It does look to be well made and the plastic used for the bins doesn't appear to be the type that will crack too easily. If it happened to be natural polypropylene it wont. Add a filler to that and it might.I spent rather lot of time looking at this style of bin. I wanted one to fit into a 300mm cabinet. We had left space in a kitchen refit for our current pedal bin but thought why not build it in. I am a designer and this one looked to be a better option than others on several points.

Excellent pull-out bin! We compared the Hailo TA Swing 30.2/30 Tandem with the cheaper brand Ninka Wasteboy. The Ninka Wasteboy did not fit on the top shelf of our kitchen unit due to the unique construction (fixed divider between the 2 bins, which means you must have plenty of space above the frame to pull the rear bin up all the way). The Hailo fits perfectly! While the Ninka is quite light and mostly plastic this Hailo is super-strong, heavy, arrives fully assembled; I think the strong metal construction is worth the price! Both are made in Germany, I believe the Hailo came directly from Germany, hence delivery takes a few more days.

This was bought to replace the same thing which we’d had for c. 20 years and it had developed cracks in the front panel. This one is better, I like that it actually clicks shut so you feel like it seals everything in. Also the top is better as you can actually keep things on top of it. Having the 2 bins is great as we recycle our food waste so can keep it separate. It was quite straightforward to remove the old one and replace with this.

We have had this bin installed under our sink for a couple of months - it is great! Very sturdy, easy to install and use. Very good capacity - I only have to empty the two bins once a week (we are a family of 4). I use one for recycling and one for general rubbish (our food waste gets recycled separately as compost).

I replaced a cheaper but much less sturdy type with this and I must say it is a great improvement. It is easy to install and smooth in operation. You really do get what you pay for, it may cost more than some alternatives, but it is worth the extra for the quality of materials and build quality and functionality.

We had a similar bin from hailo for over 25 years before the back bin broke. This was probably due to other things in the cupboard falling over and blocking the bin's route. The replacement model has a wider frame and so this is less likely to happen. The bin arrived sooner than expected.

sent a much cheaper and flimsier one back and paid a bit more for this. It is much better than the cheaper ones, it's sturdy very stable and well designed. Really like the nice tight seal at the lip to stop all those nasty smells leaking out. Simple to fit and easy to use.

I had a very tight space to fit this in & was concerned that the dimensions shown might be incorrect, however the dimensions were absolutely spot on & it fitted perfectly.The quality of the product is excellent & it operates smoothly.

We found first saw this product in Tenerife whilst on holiday, and we think it great to sort out our Kitchen waste so we have installed it in our new Kitchen. Excellent quality and easy install, top marks.

This is a really sturdy bin which fits in a smaller space or when you have pipes in odd places under the sink. Measurements are accurate & it's easy to fit as well.

The product is really made well and was so easy to fit in our cupboard. We working of the 2 bins is also easy, really pleased we made this purchase.

This was very easy to install and feels of a decent build quality. Fits under our sink, just, without the lid but that makes it easier to use.

Wow this is perfect! Bin hidden in cupboard, plenty of space and a shelf on top! What more wld you need to keep the dog out of the bin!

A very well made bin, strong and well engineered, very easy to separate waste from recyclables amuch better than a bin on the floor .

Amazing,Easy to fit and fits perfect in my cupboard under the sink.Love the lid on it and I can put my dish clothes on it
