This is a compact and good looking behind door waste bin, with a clean stainless steel and black plastic finish, a capacious inner grey plastic bin with metal handle to lift it out, and a tilting black plastic lid. When new everything works well, although the lower face of the lid is difficult to clean without lifting out the bin assembly (fortunately an easy thing to do).However, this is now my third such bin, due to breakages at all the same weak points. The worst of which is the plastic track on the underside of the bin, which is pulled by a lug fixed to the door. The edge of the track is made of thin plastic, and inevitably weakens with time and then breaks. It can be repaired by sticking over another piece of plastic,

I have had many cupboard bins over the years and was all set to order my normal more expensive brand, however I saw the product rating for this product and the price and thought I'd give it a go. I'm so pleased with the bin. I'm not someone who usually writes reviews but this bin was well priced, really easy to install (I'm a female with limited DIY experience) and it was relatively painless. The only negative comment I would have is that the plastic lid is a little cheap, sturdy enough but it makes a cheap scratchy noisy when you close the cupboard and the bin lid flips over on to the bin. It's a minor thing really. The plastic bin that sits inside the stainless steel body is of good quality.

We went on a short break to Centre Parcs this year and one of the kitchen cupboards in our apartment was fitted with one of these bins. We promised ourselves we would have one in our new home: we have moved and we now have the bin. It arrived on time, with all component pieces inside the box. Sits inside a 300mm or wider base unit cupboard, it is very easy to fit. I suppose my only criticism so far is that you can't take the bin at the rear out without removing the front one - minor but a bit of a niggle when you only need to empty that one. A bit more expensive than a lot of bins, but it seems sturdy enough and at the moment I am very pleased and would recommend it.

This is the third one of these bins we have had. They tend to last about 3/4 years before they need replacing, which I think is OK considering the amount of use and abuse they get. Normally the plastic retaining ring at the top/bottom of the bin cracks, but the plastic buckets inside are bomb proof. The quality is reasonable for the price, and the design is quite simple. I was looking at a different model made by another manufacturer but we only have a 400mm cupboard and I read reviews which suggested it may not fit without sawing bits off the cupboard, so I stuck with this one.

I have had a Hailo bin for 20 years but the plastic support round the bin had snapped. I bought this to replace the bin and it fits great, very relieved.I didn't try to fit the whole unit but used what I had fitted already.The only down side was when I opened the box it smelt very strongly of cigarette smoke, but I expect it to disappear. I had purchased one that was classed as "box damaged" so it was cheaper, and as it was supplied buy Amazon they delivered to the Isle of Man, whereas none of the other suppliers would. Cheers.

You may think this expensive, but it really does the job. I purchased as a replacement, as I've had the identical item in constant daily use for over 15 years! The bun has a bucket that I use with supermarket carrier bags. This keeps the bucket clean, while the bucket protects you if the carrier bag gives way or something leaks. Opening/closing of the lid is automatic, so you don't need keep wasking your hands, and smells are kept inside the bin. Highly recommended. 10/10.

For the price I think this is excellent value for money, the product feels high quality and everything fits easily out of the box.The only negative points I would have :1. The instructions that come with the bin are not the easiest to follow (however, if you search online the company have a video tutorial that makes things much more clear)2. The hinging lid does feel like maybe one day it might break, but that's a problem all bins of this type will suffer from.

The bottom of the bin cracking seems to be a common fault, it happened to ours after a few years, but I simply cut the ends off a plastic tie wrap and glued the smooth side across the crack with superglue12 years and three repairs later it is time for a new oneOtherwise the bin is great, fits perfectly in our cupboard under the sink even though it shares it with the sink outlets. The bin size is perfect for using supermarket bags

I bought this to replace the Hailo bin that had 'given up the ghost' in our kitchen (after 12 years solid service). I loved the fact that all I had to do was take off the old fittings and replace with the new ones and click the bin in place. If I hadn't had a previous Hailo Bin, it came with a handy 'template' to mark out where the fittings should be (well thought out). Looking forward to many more years good service from this one.

This was a replacement for the exact same bin I’ve had for years. Nice compact bin and quick delivery.Although the measurements are misleading. The height doesn’t need to be as high as stated as the lid doesn’t lift up, the bin just slides out and the lid stays in position.If I hadn’t already had one this would have stopped me purchasing it because i would have thought it wouldn’t fit in my island unit.

I bought this bin to replace same model I'd had over 30 years! Old one has performed really well, and I just thought I'd treat myself to a new one.The replacement slotted in place exactly and easily, using same screw holes - took me 15mins to swap. This new one has improved brackets - I had to modify the old top bracket to keep it going - so I'm really pleased, and confident this will serve me well.

This bin replaced an older Hailo bin, whose only fault was the cracking of the plastic liner (sadly not available separately), and is of a different, simpler design which is noisier in oepration, initially off-putting and the reason it gets 4 stars. Rather expensive replacement for a 15 litre plastic liner...which I would have preferred to buy!

Ordered this as my old one has just about given up the ghost but was so handy being behind the door out of sight, I was so pleased as it was an exact match and took minutes to swap over was so relieved as I thought I may have to go back to a freestanding bin and haven't go room.

Arrived in two days- great service. The instructions were clear and it was easy to fit. This was a replacement for my old Hailo bin which had lasted ten years before the lid and door bracket broke. Looks smart and I would highly recommend purchasing this product.

This works very well for the space under the sink. This is the second one we have fitted. The first one lasted for 5 years and if I take into account that our washing machine only lasted 4 years then I think this is a brilliant buy at a reasonable price
