I loved Guitar Hero 3, so naturally World Tour was the next step for me. Even if you have played Guitar Hero 3, I would suggest sitting through the Tutorial, so you can get to grips with some of the new features in the game. The game improves on every single aspect of Guitar Hero 3. If the first installment of the Guitar Hero series set the bar on the Wii, then World Tour just went and set it even higher. You can choose which part of the band you want to play, wether you want to be the drummer, sing your heart out, play some bass or my personal favourite, play some solos as the guitarist. World Tour mode allows you to play through it on your own or if you got some friends round, play through it as a fully fledged band. The online mode is one area where the game shines out. You just choose what settings you want, and start searching. You can play against someone, or join up with people around the world and rock out to the list of songs you got to choose from. You can play songs you have downloaded, but only if all the parties in question have the song.I would suggest getting a SD Card if you wish to download songs. The songs will eat up your Wii's memory like nobody's business. But so long as you have a SD Card, you can put the songs there, and you can still play them without having to move or delete files. There isn't much to choose from at the time i wrote this, but hopefully there will be more in the future.Overall, if you lked any of the previous installments of Guitar Hero, then you will love this.

As a newcomer to the Guitar Hero series with GH3 on the Wii, I was very much looking forward to this being released - but was disappointed to find that they did not plan to release a game + drum option for those of us with 2 guitars already. And even now, 2 months down the line have not even announced the release of individual controllers. As far as the game itself goes, it is very enjoyable - similar to its predecessors with various improvements in both gameplay and content. Great for anyone new to the series and experts alike. The only negative I have to mention about this game is the difficulty, even on the hardest setting (expert) its quite easy to clear most of the game (excluding a few exceptionally hard songs - BYOB for example)for anyone with a bit of previous experience on the harder modes in the previous games.

Guitar Hero World Tour is the fourth in the series and now has the band option so you have Vocal's and Drums as optional instruments to play the game with in addition to Guitar. The career mode is quite good following your band's path to Rock Stardom and unlocking song's and guest musician's such as Jimi Hendrix and Ozzy Osbourne in the process.I do like the mixture of song's in the game from classic's such as The Eagles Hotel California through to Nirvana's About a Girl.A good addition to the series and now the game is cheap it is good value for money and a must have game.

I loved GH3 so took the next logical step.I was so excited by the first downloadable content for a Wii game. Especially knowing the whole new Metallica album was available!Oh turns out it isn't fully avaliable for Wii. Just 3 of the tracks...Where as PS3 and Xbox get full song packs apparently this isn't possible on the Wii! The number of downloadable tracks available now and probably in the future will be far far less than on those other consoles.Great game, just a shame about this detail!

this is the most fun I've had for years. the quality of the controllers - in this particular case, the bass, which came free as a rolled up package - is well up to the job. spent hours playing with my kids which has got to be good, as well as a few late night private practice sessions, will not be out done by 13 year old!best fun has been downloading other tracks, raconteurs and metallica. the difficulty increases when playing downloaded tracks so maintains the challenge even longer. rock on!

If you like Rock Band then this update on Guitar Heroes is worth the money although you should either buy the guitar bundle or band bundle as the controls are strange using the bog standard controller. It will cost more but the fun to be had exceeds the controller only. And I dont see the point in buying a game for the wii that you are going to play on your own. It is designed to be shared with friends or family.Overall wonderful; just buy some accesories at the same time.

I have received the CD from the mail yesterday. and I really liked it I spend the whole day playing with it. It's amazing it just make you feel you have a real rock band. It's good for young musicians as it also can help them improve. or for people who want to try to play music as its easy to try through a game. But Anyway its just Great! and In a Very good shape and well packed.

guitar hero is, quite literally, the most fun you can have playing music. the guitar is truly an amazing experince that guitar hero captures with ease. this particular controller is solid, it works but is not the best. my personal favorite is the controller for world tour, and there is a new guitar being made for guitar hero 5 which i am most excited by.

Easy to use but different levels ensure that you will be challenged. The options of Bass, Lead, singing, and drums means that the whole family can play (or have a laugh when your mates are around for a drink). Good mix of songs should ensure that there is something for everyone.

My kids got warriors of rock for Christmas and they love it so when I saw the bargain price of this game I couldn't resist! Great for all the family to play together on various different wii instruments with a variety of rock classics, buy it and you won't be disappointed!
