I bought a bottle of this for a friend of mine last month. I'm quite cross with myself that I didn't buy it here though, given how much it actually ended up costing me. Ah, but when you've forgotten that it's your friend's birthday, no amount of money is too much. What use is next day delivery to a man in that sort of situation, apart from potentially bringing a vehicle to his door that might be able to deliver him to the nearest doghouse?This lady is in her early forties, and has smelled of this fragrance for as long as I can remember. Apparently it was introduced in 1989, which would be about right; the aroma of it definitely takes me back to that sort of era, in a very good way.

I wore this fragrance way back in the 90's and wondered if I was to return to it, would I still feel the love that I did then for it. I had read the reformulation had taken away the powerful punch of Samsara and so it was with trepidation that I ordered my bottle. When it arrived, I sprayed liberally and was transported immediately to that mystic warmth that Samsara eludes. Yes, there was a tad of difference. The early Samsara would take your breath away with its fire and depth. The reformulation, still with the punch, eased you there, without the fight.... a beautiful mist of Middle Eastern promise. Samsara is a feminine and sexy fragrance, not for the faint hearted! Its longevity is excellent and sillage fantastic.

In the initial burst the warmth and spices of this oriental come straight to the fore; musk and sandalwood, uplifted by bright citrus notes of lemon, and tempered into the soft florals of rose, jasmine and violet, with a hint of juicy, delicious peach. Straight away the multi-layered and beautiful nature of this oriental is striking. It is absolutely spot on. The perfume has an ever so slight sense of powderiness in the notes, which is mainly contained in the violet, but it’s not overwhelming. After about an hour the dominant note is definitely the spicy wood of sandalwood, with a sprinkling of powdery violets and a dash of smooth tonka bean, vanilla, musk, and amber. One of man's dreaded tasks is to have to go around perfume shops to buy their wife's perfume, especially a perfume that is not the 'new vogue' but an established yet,not these days, advertised. The fact amazon and other shopping mediums provide me choices and best value, means I can sit on my iPad and order my wife's perfume, wait delivery and hide it until birthday, Christmas or Anniversary comes around or better still when your brownie points have gone into overdraft.

Samsara is not as well known as certain other fragrances but maybe this is just a result of marketing (I don’t recall ever seeing it advertised). Nevertheless, for my wife it has been her first choice for as long as I have known her and despite her having tried several better known products. She regularly receives compliments when wearing it and I do agree that it is a distinctive and very elegant perfume.

This is a difficult perfume to find in the shops and it is one of my mother's favourites. I wanted to get her some for Xmas so did a search on Amazon and found different sizes of bottles. The best thing about it was the fact that it was cheaper than buying it in the shops and having it delivered so promptly and well-packaged made my Xmas shopping soooo much easier.

I haven't used Samsara for a few years, so was delighted to see it being offered - and at such a good price. Packaging and delivery were perfect. Although it's an eau de toilette I find that the perfume lingers for a longer time than many others do. Also it's so nice to be complimented on the fragrance I'm wearing!

bought this samara for my wife as she has been using it for many years and loves it. it was purchased at a great price and with free delivery .it arrived within the stated delivery time and was very well packaged .would definately recommend this company ..thankyou very much ..plus the wife loved it

This is my husbands favourite scent on me and I like it too. So I thought it was a good idea to have some for special occasions. It is a heavy scent and best used if you are going out in the evening. It is quite different to what I normally wear as I like Dior but it is a change.

My granddaughter was over the moon with the bath bombs, she said she wanted something a bit different so I got them. My other granddaughter keeps hinting saying how beautiful they smell, so it looks like grandad will be purchasing more.

Arrived the day after placing the order, so very impressed. Original box, wrapped in cellophane. Purchased for my mum to carry in her handbag as it's a nice, small bottle. Excellent price compared to the shops. Smells great too :)

Why is it come in a white bottle ? It’s not like the picture shown. It’s suppose to be a gift for my mother in law. She wanted it in the red bottle . When I received the it, it’s in a white bottle and not as shown in the picture.

SamsaraA beautiful smelling perfume. My friend has used this perfume for years and absolutely loves it. People comment on how nice it is and is always paying her compliments on the perfume. Would not change for any other.

Love this perfume, I have allergies to some perfumes but not this one. Smells lovely and lasts all day.Got a good bargain on Amazon, as I usually only buy it at the Duty free shop at the airport.So will look here again.

A great Fragrance. Fragrance not too strong but lasts a long time. Would suit any age of lady. Always buy this Perfume for my Friend. Item was well packed and sold at a great price. Would recommend this perfume.
