This is sensual, yet sophisticated and works every bit as well for romantic dates, as it does for daily use. There is a subtlety to the sweetness and then a distinctly spicy undertone.What does it smell like?It is an Oriental, woody fragrance. The initial top notes are juicy and fresh ... you can pick up hints of bergamot, lemon, ylang-ylang and peach. Underneath that is a floral element with iris, jasmine and rose that give it a sense of elegance. I was not familiar with this perfume until last week when I asked a lady in a supermarket what perfume she was wearing and it was Samsara.I had been trying to find a perfume with this kind of powdery musky smell for some time. I usually wear Aromatics Elixir by Clinique which is gorgeous but just wanted to have something completely different for a change. My only concern was to see a huge list of chemicals in the ingredients of Samsara compared to Elixir which has only one. Delivery was unbelievably prompt which was a bonus.

This perfume has a wonderful, bold, original aroma, amazing sealige and longevity. It will certainly get you noticed. I bought this in 2006 from a department store and still have some left in the bottle, which still smells beautiful after all this time. Just spraying a little goes a long, long way and it's definitely worth buying the eau de parfum, even though you might pay a bit more, you're worth it aren't you?So go on and treat yourself or someone else!

My wife loves this perfume, I first purchased a bottle in Barcelona airport on a business trip in the eighties and she (and I) have been hooked ever since. She is often complemented on her perfume and despite trying numerous others she still prefers Samsara. Highly recommended , not cheap, but long lasting...I just love it!!

This was amy birthday present for my Mum. She loves Samsara and I know that she uses her current bottle sparingly. So I was very happy to find this Ltd Edition bottle of perfume not the EDT but proper perfume at such a great price. Mu Mum was very happy to receive this and she no longer has to use it so sparingly.

Subtle and extremely high quality fragrance.Samsara was reformulated and is less intense than when it came in the red glass bottle, but I still find it delicious, and now more suitable for the daytime than it was before.Notes of Jasmine and Sandalwood in a very smooth creamy scent ideal for day or night.

This is my favourite all time perfume. This sale item did not disappoint! I saved a fortune, which also pleased my hubby!This perfume draws so many compliments, more than any other perfume I’ve worn, and I’ve worn a lot, and the good ones too! THIS, this is now my signature fragrance.

I had been meaning to buy more Samsara, and then found out in the Perfume Shop that they had no stock left, because the fragrance was being updated (nooo!) and they were waiting on the relaunch.So then I had to get some of the original. This makes me sound like Dr Jekyll.

I received this for Christmas. Last used this perfume over 20 years ago. It has an amazing subtle yet exotic smell. It is fresh and light and care been worn at anytime of day. I have received many compliments....don't know why I ever stopped wearing it.

My wife first tried this as a change from her long-term favourite - Mitsouko by Guerlain - as it is different but still has traces of the Guerlain personality to it. It is now a firm favourite and is always to be found in her handbag.

Have been using this perfume for many years, compliments come from male and females all the time, when I go shopping this has been my perfume, but its getting harder to get, usually order few bottles, do not like new bottle though

I’ve worn samsara for about 20 years and in the meantime tried different perfumes but samsara is the only one that everyone comments about. I was surprised but extremely happy to get it at such a good price especially for edp.

I love this perfume. I have just bought my 5th bottle and wouldn't be without it. It may be a bit expensive, but it's worth every penny. It lasts all day, from 8am until 6pm and you can still smell it.Highly recommended.

I always buy this Perfume for my Friend. She has used it for many years. The perfume stays on you all day and the smell of the perfume stays the same. Does not stain your clothes. Can be worn day and Night.

Bought this for my mother at Christmas as it is one of her all time favourites but hasn't been able to get it for years.She was over the moon and said it's exactly the same smell as it's always been.
