I found this perfume by accident quite a few years ago, fell in love with it, and haven't deviated from it since. The smell is sweet, but not sickly, with a very subtle fruity twist.It took me a long time to settle on a perfume because I don't enjoy really strong scents. This one is quite a delicate scent, which I think lends itself to a more feminine lady who wants a classy smell. If you like woody, heavy fragrances then this isn't for you. I do recommend trying some tester pots in stores if you can find some. Unfortunately this particular fragrance is no longer available in most UK shops though but Guerlain fragrances do tend to have a similar feel to them so it's still worth giving the

Strong, sophisticated perfume opening with a 'punch' of gorgeous, sweet floral notes and easing back to a deep, warm, rich fragrance. It's all about sweetness and flowers and Idylle is certainly feminine. The spray is set to give a fine, light covering and that's all you need. A little goes a long way and a small amount gives the full effect. Idylle is long lasting, remains fresh on my skin and I seldom need to top up. The design of the bottle is pure Guerlain, dew drop designed by Ora-ito, and looks fantastic on my dressing table. More than happy to recommend.

I am always a little worried when people buy me perfume I haven't tried before but this one has proved a repeat purchase. I am pleased to see it here on Amazon as I have not found it easy to find on the high street - the last time I purchased was at a US airport. John Lewis still stock it but at a much higher price. It is a lovely floral perfume yet warm and sophisticated. It is predominantly rose & jasmine but with a musky base so it has good longevity (on me at least) and isn't too sweet or cloying.

My wife is a fan of Guerlain and we added this to her collection. A beautiful, delicate perfume.I am always very, very, pleased to do business with this company. They provide a prompt and efficient service and I will keep returning to them. They are my favourite supplier for quality perfumes.

My bride pressed one mist of this on her neck. I, ensorcelled, attempted to take her in the elevator. She insisted her deflowering take place in our suite on the 30th floor. There, we watched old episodes of Magnum PI. Magnificent.

Love this scent, it makes me feel mellow, happy, peaceful and sensual. Would definitely recommend. I would say it is a more mature scent, but at the same time it would be suitable for any age. Simply divine.

I first was introduced to this argument the Perfumeria in Disneyland. I wear it everyday and reminds me of French Quarter. ah memories of having a normal life.This is a sweet scent and costs money.

i love this perfume also the price was brilliant, it was £30 plus lower than another company that was advertising on line, i also received it the day after i ordered itwhich i think is brilliant.

I love scent but hate new design of bottle. Why has this changed? Used to look stylish but now looks like something my Nan would have had on her dressing table - not good look for premium product.

I really love this perfume and wear it every day. I appreciate that perfume is personal, but do try it when in a store, as am sure you'll love it too

I love the scent and somehow it works for me because my friends and family tell me that it smells lovely on me and ask for the name of the perfume.

Lovely sweet scent...i always get compliments when I wear this. This is my second bottle, it's definitely more special occasion than every day.

Bought this as a gift a few days before Christmas. It said it would deliver on boxing day but it came early. Product is very nice.

Sophisticated smell. Makes you smell like a million bucks :). It also lasts almost the whole day. I'll definitely buy again.
