I only ordered the tea set yesterday and it came today wow! - just in time for a visit from our 2 1/2 year old Granddaughter. She loved it and must have spent half the afternoon making pretend tea for us. It is a lovely set and well worth the extra money. I'm not sure why there are small holes in the sugar bowl, not that it matters. As others have said it would have been a good idea if the milk jug was a different colour from the tea cups to avoid confusion. The set is well worth buying though and I would thoroughly recommend it.Just to add for the manufacturers - I wished there were tea plates you could buy separately to go with the set to serve cake on as our Granddaughter is always servingplay cake.

When we bought this tea set for our 20-month-old granddaughter we were a little concerned whether she would know how to use it. Like most modern families, her parents are inclined to drink tea straight from mugs. However, after a little role play, she soon got the idea and we spent most of Boxing Day having pretend tea parties. Now, some weeks later, this is still one of her favourite toys. The little cups are light and durable and the right size for her hands. My only criticism would be the choice of colours. Why are the teapot and sugar bowl a different colour from the cups, yet the milk jug is the same colour? This caused some confusion with our granddaughter who kept pouring tea into the milk jug!

I was a bit reluctant to spend nearly £20 on a tea set for my 3.5-year old, but I needed to replace her wooden tea set (I'm always leery of chipping paint on children's toys), and I wanted something that would be safe for her to put in her mouth, where food toys inevitably end up. I'd bought a number of Green Toys in the past, and I like that they're made of recycled milk containers. The set has been a success. I love the bright but not garish colours, and that the set is very robust and comes with plenty of pieces. My daughter has had frequent tea parties for her dolls, and I don't cringe when she "sips" from the cups or puts the spoons in her mouth.

My kids were so excited to have this set, and love the other toys front his company as well. The toys are well build, sturdy, fun to play with and educational. I wish that all companies could use recycled materials and be like Green Toys! The kids were also very impressed and excited to know that their toys are made from recycled milk jugs. Some might complain about the cost, but I find that the cost is more than reasonable when you consider what you’re getting. I would buy again without hesitation, and will be buying from this company for upcoming birthdays!

I brought my little girl a tea set made out of tin, very pretty but as she wants the real deal all the time with water, rust is starting to appear and I’m cringing whilst she’s sipping, plus the cups was tiny... she hasn’t used this yet as it’s for Xmas but this is lovely, bigger cups, bigger teapot, Another pot for usager which I know my girl will love plus it’s not adding to our planet with non recyclable plastic! But they could of made the box into a carry case with a easier opening as there’s nowhere to store it for a younger child to access easy

Absolutely stunning! even though it is still in the package, as its for my nieces Christmas present, I can tell its good quality, the colours are lovely and unisex, the set is small and neat just right for little hands. I think my nieces are going to love it for years to come. I was looking for an age appropriate set as they will be 18months old in December, this set is for 2yrs upwards. its the nearest I could find as most are for age 3 upwards or the younger sets are usually musically interactive.

We bought this for our daughter's first birthday, since she loved her cousin's tea set so much. We wanted one that she could also play with in the bath, and were SO happy to find this set made from recycled plastic milk bottles! Not only is it super tough and non-toxic, and with a teapot that pours better than most adult ones, it is also made in really pretty colours. We love it! And, more importantly, so does our daughter. (We liked the recycled cardboard, plastic-free packaging too).

I brought this for my daughters birthday and so far so good. She has been playing with it out in the garden in her sandpit and in her water tray. It was really easy to wipe down and Store and I think this will be a go to in her toy box for long to come. We love the green toys range and love the fact it’s all recycled. It may be a bit more expensive than other sets but it’s definitely worth it. We will continue to support this company by buying their lovely products.

My daughter loves this tea set because it has lovely colors and a larger teapot and cups than most play tea sets. I love it because I know I can run it through the dishwasher when she's decided to have "real tea" (water, juice, etc) in it. We both love that it's sturdy and won't easily break. I appreciated the eco-friendly packaging as well. It may be a bit pricier than other play tea sets, but I think the quality makes it worth it.

My three-year old grand-daughter has already had hours of use with this tea set. It's sturdy, colourful and well-designed. My only recommendation would be to make the milk and sugar a different colour. My grand-daughter kept thinking the milk jug was a teacup missing a saucer because they are very similar. A simple colour change to pink or yellow would do the trick. I highly recommend this for thirsty and creative toddlers!

My 17 month old hasn't stopped playing with this set and now drinks water out of the cups instead of her beaker. (She's not quite mastered that there are holes in the sugar bowl so when pouring water into that it just ends up as a puddle on the floor...)Excellent quality, really robust and has given hours and hours of entertainment already, which I think will last for years to come too. I would highly recommend this.

Lovely to find a recycled product. Nice colours, I wouldn't call it gender specific, however with the current 'pink trend' aimed at girls, maybe the tea pot shouldn't be pink? Very hard-wearing and durable, had this over a year with two toddlers and still fully intact, the cutlery can be bent with some persistence from little hands, but its only happened a couple of times and I've bent it back with no breakages.

this was my little grandsons favourite christmas present. The lids for the tea pot and sugar bowl are interchangeable which is excellent design and he was discovering a lot about volume filling the cups with conkers and stirring them around with the spoons. It is strong and resilient, easy to clean, nice colours and, best of all, made from re-cycled plastic so good for the environment too.

It is study and with almost perfect finishing (except the tea pot that is made up by pieces that are not perfectly aligned, but this doesn't disturb the fun). My little one enjoys it. Actually he has another tea set which is flimsier and he seems to enjoy it equally much. But I like this set better, because the cup stands even when I put the spoon in. But not the flimsier set.

This was a perfect Christmas present for my grandchild. (20 months old) The set was made of surprisingly strong plastic that had been recycled. It went v well with the play food pack and the teapot was v useful to put food items into. Have not ventured into filling the pot with water as yet! Absolutely great for lots of imaginative role play.
