I had to buy this, because it's a remake of one of the best games I have played in its time, from my childhood. It was a fantastic game on the N64, so seeing as they revamped it, i had to see what it looked like. and I was pleasantly surprised.It has all the classic levels you've come to love. My personal favourite is one of the beginning levels, where you're in a vent, and drop down in a toilet, to a guy taking a dump in one of those toilets... Yep that's in this ;DPros :- It's engine is a safe one. activision (Makers of the COD series)and that's exactly how it feels. The way you run, the way the gun shoots. Very much COD like. Some might say that's a bad thing. I think it's a good thing,especially when you take into consideration that since goldeneye on N64, every other bond game has been a joke.- The story follows the film very well. So you can relive the film pretty good.- The voices from Judy and Craig are top quality as you would expect, it's very believable.- Countless multiplayer options, they really did work hard on this. Little things like.. Playing as Odd job, instead of having grenades, you throw his hat. it's a nice touch. Though whether it will get a big enough fan base to enjoy big multiplayer games, remains to be seen,Cons :- The fact Daniel Craig is the actor and face of this remake of Goldeneye is a little harsh. Brosnan did brilliantly in this film.. Whether it was a licensing issue, or just preffered to use Craigs image, i'm not sure. Just seems a bit random.- Back to the multiplayer.. It could of just been me, but I tried finding matches in several of the game modes, and found myself sitting alone in the lobby for 5 mins on each. until I clicked deathmatch, then I found a lot of players. So again.. Really depends if it gets enough players.Overall I think it's the best bond game for a LONG LONG time. Activision do nicely to make it a smooth running game. Sure visuals are average like many of the COD games. But the point is it runs nicely, the shooting is nice, the basics and fundamentals work. Anyone who enjoyed the N64 version or the film itself, I recommend this, just don't be too disheartened at the fact Brosnan isn't in this.

Well this is a HD port from the Goldeneye Wii. Of course, that one was a remake of the n64 masterpiece. I'll be shrot. The Campauign is fun it's a mix of Call of Duty with some bits of Deus Ex. The problem is with the Health system. If you play with regeneration this too easy but if you do with life bars it's almost impossible due the skill shooting of your enemies and some glitches. The story itself is quite unsustancial and not a very good adptation of the movie. But the highlight of this one, and the reason to buy, is the multiplayer. While the people only plays on the usual modes (Deathmatch and teams) it's great.Because the game has the fluidity of a COD but with the classic gameplay you enjoy years before in your house in splitscreen (this one is up to 4 in the same console). But the very best is that even playing online yo will have that felling. WOW. That's what makes this unique. The Graphics are Mew and the music is classic Bond soundtrack. Maybe the lowest point comes with the change of ambientation (from the 90's to nowadays)making the game feeling lesser a 007 game than a solid FPS with updated classic gameplay. Go for it if you want the best Bond in this gen. If you want to experience something nearer tho the movie the best path is getting bloodstone, althoug tha one it's less solid as a whole game. But the story is quite better. If you still remember that afternoons with your friends playing Goldeneye, Nightfire or From Russia With Love this is a must buy.

This HD remake of the original Goldeneye game is the best Bond game I have ever played. Activision have really done a great job, and the graphics are possibly the best I have seen on any HD remake game.The Single player campaign story was as gripping as the movie, the combat is really good and the gameplay is very smooth. The Multiplayer is also very fun online. There are ranks, classes and gadgets (like perks) just like COD. They also stuck with the classic 4 play split screen where there are also classes but no ranks which was a bit of a shame. Both online and split screen have great modes like golden gun, and not just the typical team death match like cod.You can also change the settings on games like the size of players from big hardcore soldiers into small midgets that cannot jump are climb.My personal favorite thing about this game though is the amazing MI6 ops mode (a lot like Spec ops from MW2). Unlike Spec Ops you can edit the setting in this mode as well like changing bullets into paint balls and my favourite the ragdoll mode when soldiers fly and flip, toss and twirl when they die. The missions are good as well with loads of stealth, shooting and defending.I think this game is excellent and I highly recommend it to anyone who plays FPS games and even people who love COD.

This was a must have game for me this year. I was lucky enough to own the Nintendo 64 and by far goldeneye was the greatest game for it, 4 players, 4 way split screen and various famous characters was lets just say addictive. so when the WII got the remake last year i was disappointed but now its on PS3 and im extatic!The single player game follows much the same line as the orginal so its more than entertaining to play the AI is a litle slow in some of the enemies but the varying difficulties make for an entertaining time.Multiplayer is where its at though. ITs an amazing multiplayer and while it doesnt offer the refinement of say MW3 it does bring a smile to your face and is truely addictiveand takes me back to my childhood straight away!overall this game lacks some finese but will invariable delight those who played the original and new comers to the Bond gaming franchise.

I really wanted to get this game being that I had always loved the bond games on PS2 and desperately wanted to experience them again. This game didn't disappoint. The graphics are very good in my opinion being that it isn't as big a franchise as other shooters like COD are. The campaign is longer than I expected and although I didn't play it all in one go it took me a fair amount of time to complete. The really big bonus to this game is the online multiplayer which, although not as prestigious as COD and Battlefield, is very fun to play and similar in format. However, if you do have COD or Battlefield then I'm afraid you won't find it very playable and get bored very quickly because there's just a lot more fun to be had on these other games.Overall I would recommend it for any bond fan or those who have no intention of purchasing other shooters.

Not as good as the original, which blew me away and is still my favourite video game ever, many years and technological advances on. However, still quite fun. The single player main game is so-so, perhaps just 3 stars. The Mi6 Ops mini games are better and can be customised to be more challenging. The split screen multiplayer is good fun, as the original was. Unlike the original, which split the screen in 4 no matter the number of players, this will only split in 2 if there's only two of you. I haven't played it online, so I can't comment - but I hear the online community is weak, so wouldn't purchase it for that reason. If you can get it for less than £20 and liked the original, give it a go,especially if you have friends who'll play with you.

I have played through this game over the last few days and can honestly say I have been unable to put it down. It has a great variance of levels and is fantastic fun. There are going to be reviewers of this game which will compare the N64 version to this when that is impossible. When the original was released, there was nothing like it. It was stand out and therefore such a shock that it will of course hold a place in the hearts of those who played it to death.There is a new generation of First person titles and therefore some people may overlook this one as a result. Its a great game with a mixture of stealth, action and a great plot which holds true to the original.Definitely worth a purchase.

I was fortunate to get MW3 and Goldeneye Reloaded as gifts on the same day; I was expecting Goldeneye to be the lesser of the two games - how wrong could I have been. Goldeneye mightn't be as glamorous as MW3 but the gameplay is just so addictive - I love it. Sharp graphics, excellent dialogue and just a hint of nostalgia - it's got me coming back to play each evening whereas MW3 left me with a feeling of so-what? If you want a solid shooter, with a taut storyline that is fun to play, I really would recommend checking out Goldeneye. It has been eclipsed because of the big launches of MW3, Battlefield and Uncharted but is most definitely a sleeper-hit.

Golden eye reloaded is for all you 007 fans out there!I had this game on the wii and to be honest i wasnt impressed with the graphics.. Now! It is available on the ps3 and it is alot better than i thought it would be.the graphics are better and much clearer and it really does feel like you can really get into the game.to be honest,its alot like Black ops especially with the updated graphics. You wont be disappointed!

i am a little confused about the bad reviews on this game goldeneye,i just got the game today for a great price and played it for a 1 hour to see what i think and i think this game is great,everything about the game is wonderful,so i think the best things to do is buy the game yourself and find out yourself how good this game is because everyone diffent i love the game 10/10 vote for me.

i loved this game it was so much fun. One fatal mistake why is it danial craig not pierce brosnan? I love the way that it has recorded details such as the toilet scene when he drops down on the guard.This is the best of the james bond series. They need an uptaded goldfinger. People that agree say this video was helpfull.

Good game in single player. MI6 operations are good, can do a challenge and compare against others times online.Multiplayer good, but could have added in the 'drone' AI players like in Perfect Dark (N64)(could add a player that just goes after the person in the lead, smarter and stupid players).Would recommend

iv not played the game i don't even have a playstation that works any more :((( ..but i ordered this on i think monday and it came wednesday thats good enough for me thanks. Me nephews will be happy there getting there christmas present on time. Thanks to the company who sent it out......

I would definitely recommend this product to any body who likes james bond and is into the the james bond movies and games. Brilliant action, story and gameplay, very much so! Totally awesome and worth it, its like a call of duty style shooter in many ways, for james bond fans.

To start with, this game is amazing. You can play it in many different styles. I play this game both move and normal. The only thing that could be improved is that there should be more weapons and you should be able to customize them.
