I'm not sure how much truth there is to the rumour, but I had heard that the plot to Bloodstone is what remains of the last Bond movie after filming was scrapped. Whether this is true or not the game certainly plays like a proper Bond movie and has all the principle actors voice talents, as well as special guest Bond girl Joss Stone. While many people compare this game unfavourably to the classic Golden Eye this is a very different game and stands out very well in its own right.Obviously you get to play Bond, which is always cool, and with a choice of difficulty settings you can set the game to be as challenging as you like. If you can manage to complete the game on the Hard setting you will definitely earn double "O" status.

Like many have said, the single player game is short, but it seems to be the trend with big name games these days sadly. Games like this, Bad Company 2, Modern Warfare 2 and Medal of honor are all very short in single player mode, but the justification of this is that the online play is supposed to extend its life beyond the single player aspect.Naughty Dog though has proved, with Uncharted 2, that you can have a long single player game and have an online mode, so its really no excuse on the creators part.That said, the single player mode is very enjoyable, and certainly pulls you in if you are a Bond fan.I was a fan of Quantum of solace, but liked they fact they changed to 3rd person perspective on this one and added driving missions as well,

To be honest, for the RRP this game is far too expensive but for the price it is now it is definetly worth at least considering or buying.The story: 9/10 Despite what some reviewers say i think that the story is a well thought out one and worthy of a movie itself. There a seven chapters (not levels) generally within each chapter there are 3 15-30 minute levels. Yes some would say that the story mode could be longer but my advice is too simply set the difficulty setting to the 2 highest one which i believe is "Agent" this makes the game far more enjoyable and it lasts a bit longer. On the medium difficulty i completed the game in around 7-8 hours of playtime and i beleive that im quite a good gamer.

I was excited for this game ever since the leak on HMV. I was not and still am not disappointed with my purchase. Although reviews have commented on the short story length I personally think 1)It's not awfully short there's enough gameplay in there maybe some longer cut-scenes but nothing drastic. 2)This is standard for modern video games unfortunately. I will make the comparison to the AWFUL Modern Warfare 2 which had a VERY short story and the multiplayer was repetitive and ,unlike my friends, got bored of it after a month.The graphics are stunning and the animation flawless. Driving missions are an absolute joy and 007 difficulty does prove to be a challenge but no comparison to Crushing in Uncharted.

Whilst I am a huge fan of the film, games which aim to imitate film do not go so wellAn example of this is Quantum of Solace, good James Bonds film, appalling game. Therefore the lessons learned are that a storylines designed for a game often works far better than the other way around.As is the case with Bloodstone, the storyline is much more involved and you associate with bond a lot better than in previous games on the current consoles. You have the option of action or stealth to take out your enemies. On the easier settings it is perhaps a little too easy to simply walk up to a guy abd be practically in front of him before he sees you and you lose you stealth attack. However,

It is a great game, with action packed gameplay and about average graphics.This is 720p, so it will only look good if you have a TV capable of upscaling. I tried it on my monitor and the result was dissappointing, it had incredibly blurry textures and was not clear at all. I would only recommend playing this on TV. When using the TV the graphics were much better, lighting was accurate and the scenery was really enjoyable to look at.I haven't really played through much but the story is good, and (IMO) not too predictable. The driving in this game, as others have said, is fun and works well. There are some good puzzles, mainly just looking around for things, but it gives variety throughout.

I bought this game with more hope than expectation that it was worth the £20 I paid for it. Thankfully and some what surprisingly it is a really good game. Nice easy controls with the focus aims a handy tool to use in those tricky situations. I enjoyed the stealth element of the game that differentiated it from others like COD and MOH.The storyline in the game is a typical Bond movie, graphics aren't mind blowing but not terrible either. Game play is the best part, i found it very hard to stop playing this once i had started and the length of the missions are good, with a great balance of shooting and driving tasks.Only negative that I can think of is the ending, bit of an anticlimax but still definately worth the money,

Great game, good story and good game play. You could see the games story line as an actual movie it's that good. Great hand to hand combat takedowns and good use of bond's phone as well!! The car chasers are totally new and offer a different dimension to the game and it's really exciting, also when you shoot the bad guys they react well, so if you shoot them in the head they react with a head shot.This is the best Bond game in a long time and one which needs to be played!! Everything is right about this game and it even has Daniel Craig's voice!!

This game is brilliant the story is entertaining the gameplay is very good and the driving is very fun and the actors and actress do the voices of the characters so Daniel Craig does the voice of him (James Bond) and Judith Dench does the voice of her (M) and I think this game could of been made into an official James Bond film the 23rd James Bond film but it will never be made into a film and don't listen to the bad reviews if you have never played this game then buy it and make up your own mind about this game.

Bloodstone is by far the most realistic and best bond game yet. The graphics and sound are very high quality, and although the story needs some work, it is a good one. The game play is fun and engaging, and although the single-player is short, it is made up by the fantastic online. The driving sequences are also really fun. You also travel all around the world to: Athens, Istanbul, Siberia, Bangkok, Burmah and Monico.All in all this is the best third person shooter and possibly one of the best games of all time.

Got this as a present from my Girlfriend (Thanks Fiona!)For a Bond game,Activision nailed it well! This is one of the best bond games to come out since 'Everything or Nothing'. Blood stone is brilliant with neat graphics and smooth game play controls. This is the bond game I've always wanted to play with lots of Shooting,Hand to hand combat and intense driving.If are a fan of 007 and you want to experience his adventurous mission, Pick this up now! u wont regret it.

This game is typical James Bond! Action, Guns, Beautiful Women and travelling the world to find your man.The problem is that the game is too short, it lasts about 5 hours to complete on normal sort of difficulties and that is rather short for this sort of game.Apart from that its great, cutscenes, graphics, action, the moves, takedowns, missions both driving and by foot.Highly recommended but dont expect it to last to long, repeat play is the way to go.

Yes it is fairly quick, yes it isn't a 'everything or nothing' but it is a good Bond story, the action is quick and keeps you involved, the driving is not great but is still easy to get the hang of, just need to leave turning til slightly later than usual and the move of cutscene to film feels fine although I do skip them now I have completed the game once.For bargain price (15), a good game but I wouldn't get at full price.

You only really run about and shoot folk interspersed with sometimes difficult driving tasks.I quite liked the gameplay, and I didn't tend to get stuck for too long on any one bit. The game did last for a decent length of time, and it did feel like you were playing as James Bond 007.I hope they bring another one like this out soon.

This game is absolutely fantastic. the 3rd person shooting is different to other games. The offline is brilliant, and the online multi player is just as much fun. Aiming can sometimes not be very accurate, but that is the only drawback. Definitely recommend buying it.In some ways it is better than call of duty.
