This product was bought as a present and the recipient a 7 yr old loved it when she eventually received it. The item was ordered on 29 November for a birthday on 9 December with a delivery date estimated for 6-10 December. The item arrived on 14 December which was not very good as a present I had ordered on 10 December for her Christmas present had arrived before her birthday present. I gave the product a four star rating as it was good value for money and it did what it said with regards to card making if the delivery had been up to standard it would have had a five star rating.

I bought this as a little present for my grandaughter and she really enjoys using it and making the little cards. There is scope for creativity, as children can draw their own pictures and messages, and add stickers or stamped patterns to individualise each card. The cards are then encapsulated into acetate for keeping. It's very straightforward to use and would be good for party invitations, or place names at the table. There's no heat and supervision would only be needed for younger children, to enable them to get the acetate coverings straight.

My daughter has been wanting this for ages and with Christmas coming I decided to buy it. It has kept her quiet and she really loves designing the little cards. She is 7 years old and once she was shown how to laminate the cards she picked it up straight away. I think she enjoys the independence of doing it all herself. She loves to give out the little cards she has made. My only fault with this is that you don't get many cards and laminating papers so I will probably end up buying more from Amazon.

This was ALL my 5 year old was asking for for her birthday and I have to say it didn't disappoint! The only issue that I have with it is that my daughter wants to play with it all day every day so the 20 pouches you get aren't really enough for her but for any other child it would be enough to last a week or two possibly longer...I've already bought more and she's had it 3 days... Fab quality though and they actually work as I was a bit skeptical they wouldn't stick but really pleasantly surprised!

My daughter was desperate for this toy and I had to purchase through amazon as all toy outlets had sold out making it £10 more expensive. However, was worth every penny it's a real success my daughter loves it and has made lovely, personal purse size cards for family which are priceless. Laminating the cards is tricky at first, rather fiddley! but she can do it no problem now. Great Purchase, lots of fun.

I was looking for some refills for my daughter's Hello Kitty Cool Cards. After reading other comments I agreed the Cool Cardz Design Studio is better value for money. My 9 yo daugther thinks she is too old for Hello Kitty stuff and was very happy with the new design for her laminated cards. She also laminated a couple of cards for me, so we are both very happy.

I bought this as I knew that my Granddaughter fancied one for her birthday. She absolutely loves it and it's good to see that refills are available. My only criticism is that she finds it difficult to hold the card flat whilst moving the laminating handle..little fingers required a bit of adult help. Hence only four stars, other than that..a great product.

This was bought as a Christmas gift for a 7 year old girly girl who is very creative and enjoys any products that challenge her ability and demonstrate her artistic skills. She will really enjoy making cards etc for her friends and family. The bonus is that this product will also laminate her creations. Great value for money.

Daughter has wanted this for ages but I kept putting it off thinking it would be the usual five minute wonder. I am impressed by this product. A simple easy to use item which keeps my daughter and her friends occupied for hours. They do go through the laminates quite quickly so I would recommend the refill packs as well.

Bought this for my friends little girl as a 5th birthday present! Would really recommend! My daughter also has one and loves making cool cardz for anyone and everyone!! There's something for all different types of children, stamps, stickers and colourful pens for writing and drawing! You will need to buy refills though!

My daughter age 5 loves this she has spent ages with it. she needs a little help with the laminator as it is quite tricky to feed the laminate sheets into the roller. Only downside is you quickly run out of the cards and laminate sheets. I would recommend buying a refill pack as well if buying this for any one.

My 7yr old granddaughter had put this on her christmas list so was delighted to receive it. Glad I also got the refill pack as you can get through the 20 cards pretty quickly. She was able to make cards unaided after initial instruction and has had lots of fun making cards for family and friends.

I bought this for my 6yr old and she loved it. It kept her interested and entertained for ages and its something she can do by herself.It's very easy to use but it doesn't last long. You can get refills but I haven't purchased any yet so not sure how much they cost.

Delivered promptly by the supplier. Shame the manufacturers seem to be aiming this at just girls. My boy loves making tickets, spy ID’s and game passes and loved this product. Refills readily available from another popular online marketplace. My boy loves it.

My daughter loves this. She went though all the included cards in less than a week. I got replacement ones from eBay as they are much cheaper. I think it's rather cheap and plasticky but I didn't get it for Christmas so hence the 4 stars rather than 3!
