This case is pretty much perfect for what I want, prioritising airflow and compatibility. It fits micro or full ATX motherboards, two 5" drives with optional front access and has two easily removable 3.5" drive trays. The case sides hook in on the front edge and have captive screws, a nice feature, although lining them up to screw in can be tricky. Case IO includes a USB3 port and is on the top front edge, angled slightly forward for easy access. The case is deep enough to take all but the largest CPU coolers, with the specs saying 165mm max height, which is only true if the cooler is under the window. For fans, you can have 2x 120 or 140mm in the front, 2x 120mm at the top and a 120mm at the back. The case includes 2x three-pin, white LED, 120mm fans on the front, which run quietly. The front panel is removable to clean the mesh and separate from the case IO and fans (unlike my previous Fractal case), although I found it catches on the front plate of the DVD drive I installed. The top fan mounts have two 120mm filters screwed in (also have holes for 90mm fans I think). The bottom has a coarser filter clipped into place, covering the power supply and drive cage area, which should catch fibres but probably not dust. The 3.5" drive cage is a neat setup, with two clip-in trays that have pins in rubber grommets that hold the drive, providing both screw-free installation and vibration damping. If you have 2.5" drives, you can screw them to the tray, including on the underside so you can still fit a 3.5" on the rubber mounts (I have four drives on the two trays in this way). I recommend buying a 3.5" to 2.5" adapter if you aren't putting a 3.5" drive in the tray, otherwise it's a bit loose. This cage can be removed (four screws on the bottom, one screw to the motherboard tray) for long power supplies, an extra 120mm fan on the bottom or even better airflow.Cable management is decent, with plenty of cutouts in good locations for my microATX board. Some of the cutouts have rolled edges and none of them are sharp, but no rubber grommets here. The space behind the motherboard tray is sufficient, I'd have liked an extra half a centimetre or so of depth. There are a few anchor points for cable ties, enough to hold things in shape but not enough for beautiful layout. The case feels pretty sturdy and is well finished. As well as some extra cable management space, a cover for the power supply and drive cage would give it a more polished finish. However that's something I can add pretty easily if I want to, and not having it makes building and using the case easier. Considering everything else this case does well at less than £50, I'm very happy with it.

Brought this case for a spare PC I'm using for a project. Paid £46 for it. Has a couple of fans in the front, and a 2.5" mount behind the mobo. It's as good as it gets for a £46 case really. It's got good airflow, cable mgmt, a window for those who like aesthetics, and designed by Fractal (so I just trust it instinctively) . However if someone wanted a PC case for their main computer, just don't waste your time because this case is very outdated in it's style in every aspect such as:Still has 5 1/4 " baysOnly one 2.5" mount point behind MoboFlimsy dust covers (especially on the bottom)Awkward & flimsy 3.5" baysSmall cable mgmt holes without rubber grommetsA generally cheap feel to the actual caseLack of exhaust fanA "non" window version, some of us want a cool case rather than one with a huge plastic windowIn my opinion this is a fantastic case for the money. I would personally never use it for my main computer because I'd rather pay an extra £20-30 you can get the define-S or for £40-50 more you can get the define R5 or R6. That whole define range is incredibly better in build quality and features. This PC case is good for side-projects, perfect!

I have 2 of these purely based on how effective they are at air cooling. They look ok, they are sturdy, good value (the hdd light is brighter than my phone torch so you may want to choose to leave those cables unplugged!!) Delivery was prompt. The sheer compatibility is great, almost all fan areas can house 140mm fans, the front panel is one massive grill to maximise airflow in and this is by far one of the best cases for keeping components cool i have owned. Cable management is good and it looks great when set up but remember this is a practical case, not a designer gaming case (though i bet it will perform just as well without the price tag)- i personally removed the hdd stack and hid my ssd drives elsewhere and as i dont have a dvd drive i have fitted an additional 2x small fans in the drive slot for a total of 5x 140mm fans (2 top, 2 front, 1 bottom), 1x 120mm back fan - it fits an evo 212 cpu cooler with room to spare and a rtx 2070, again with room to spare. Ryzen 5 3600x over clocked to 4.25ghz runs idle at 12-15oC so if keeping cool is your thing - buy it!

The PC I built for my wife is fairly basic so I didn't really need the window, but she wanted a white case and this was great for the price. The case is solidly built and the inclusion of the 2 front fans is a nice addition. There aren't many cases with the option to add optical drives these days which is another reason I opted for this over others. The case is well labelled for your MOBO standoffs, but they can be a little tight and some care needs to be taken not to cross thread them. There is hidden cable management on the right-hand side, but it's rather narrow and doesn't allow much room to work with. I gave it my best shot and overall am happy with the result. The 4 star rating is due to a couple of things. The plastic window is so easy to scratch, and because of the lack of room for better cable management. Overall though, this is a great case for the price and would look amazing with some RGB components inside your build.

I have been using computers for last 18 years however this was my first pc build. The case came at an affordable price yet it doesn't look cheap or anything of that sort. It seems that it is really built for beginners as it is very build friendly. It is very spacious as I had a MSI 2070 Super Gaming X Trio graphics card to fit it which fitted easily. The build went smoothly and I am very happy with it. The case has a bit of white lighting on the front fans which make it look premium and yes the fans are top quality and very quiet. The only downside to this case was the brief manual which came with it (I wish it was a bit more detailed) and there is only one mounting place for SSD which you have to screw behind the power supply. But I think at this price point, the benefits outweigh the cons by a huge margin so I would highly recommend this case to everyone who is looking for a good value case.

The grey finish is a nice subtle change from the black I normally choose. The other colors choices are too loud for me :)There is a little widget/tool in the screw bag to help fit the motherboard standoffs. This is useful because some rotation force is needed for the standoffs to screw down fully. (Be careful not to over tighten as the standoff will strip its thread and keep rotating.)I just finished a Ryzen 5 based pc fitted with a full sized ATX board, 240mm AIO, 2x 140mm case fan, 120mm case fan, SSD, HD and DVD. Its compact but it all fitted in easily enough with a bit of thinking. I didn't buy it for the LED fans or bling but I liked the result so much I added some RGB strips.Very happy with the solution, a nice compact quiet build that keeps everything cool enough.

Excellent budget case which comes with a pair of white LED fans preinstalled behind the front mesh panel. The case has dust filters built in and additional 2.5 inch SSD mounts behind the mobo plate. This is the 2nd PC build I have used this case with. The fans (3pin) are really quiet and on a lower TDP build (65W) need no further case fans. There is a nice amount of space in the case and cable management is easy. The HDD bays can be unscrewed and removed from the base of the case however the optical drive bays are riveted in place, the only lack of foresight in the design. Overall a great choice for a budget build.

This is actually a very good case for the money, nice touches inside, plenty of room, my only gripe is the HDD light on top is like a beacon i could signal ships with this is i ever get into distress, but this is such a minor thing that it would nto shift a solid 5 star rating, just switched over cases as my old one was like a monolith an i wanted something a little more in keeping with the tidy work space, reasonably quiet, it is a budget case so dont expect a butler to come out of the side, but you can do far worse, nice touches of dust filters and cable management, comes with some fixings

Couldn't be happier with my purchase, it's one of the best at this price point.Very clean design, comes with psu screws, good quality build. The only thing that could be better is the cable routing. My mobo power cable doesn't fit in the hole that it's supposed to fit in, and the cable routing space at the back is a little limited, you just need to be a little conscious when routing the cable. I'm not going to complain about that since i don't think any other company offers anything better. Entirely satisfied.

delivered what I needed; a roomy case with lots of airflow. The cleaning is easy too, the filters are easy to remove. But naturally, as it has many vents for airflow, all fans inside and very audible, so my build isn't the quietest. But I am more concerned with keeping things cool and big for future upgrades, and a nice visually simple case with a viewing panel and 2 stylish front fans with white LED lighting which looks very sleek. Very happy with this case.

amazing design and looks great with all in, easy to organize cables, a bit heavier and bigger of expected but it's justs amazing. there is only a little thing, and that is that the liquid cooling system fits in just right in the way that if the cooling system gets to be 1 to 3 mm bigger it won't fit, but in the end, it worked for me and seems to be fine. so the conclusion is a great looking Pc case with a great looking inside= a happy customer like me :)

The reason it is 4 and not 5 star is lack of PSU shroud and poor cable management options, however, for the price point it is a nice white ATX case with plastic side window to show off components. It does run quiet at least with my confiuration it does and easy to install, one gripe would be the HDD/SSD tray should be easier to remove and replace if needed and better SSD mounting options. Overall, I am pleased with this low budget option.

13.5.2018

I think this is the best case at this price point. Good airflow, good build quality and relatively easy to build in. I wish there were some more cable routing options but I can't expect much more at this price range. The fans it comes with are led which is nice but you can't turn the leds off which can be annoying. Overall great case for this price but you might need to get creative with cable routing if you want it to look really tidy.

Absolutely love this case! Building a PC was a goal of mine for a long time and finding a mid case that I enjoyed the look of and was great value for money was difficult. I got recommended this case by a friend of mine and I am absolutely in love with it. The quality is great and it fit everything inside as expected. I did have some difficulty fitting some of the fans in, but with some leeway they all went into place

12.5.2020

A great case at the lower price bracket. Plenty of room for additional fans (note there is no output fan with this case, only two intake ones on the front so an additional fan would be useful for cooling purposes.) Overall the only downside I found with this case is a very small area for cable management at the back side. Excellent case overall.
