Fractal Design have done it, theyve shrunk their Define series down perfectly and called it the Define Nano S, for an ITX Case this is one of the larger cases but what you get out of it is worth the extra size over more traditional cases of this form factor.I'll start with its layout, its exactly like building inside a regular tower, people who have build inside a mid tower or any standard tower layout case will immediate know what to do here, the layout feels familiar and very well planned.Speaking of planning Cable management is a dream, with rubber grommets, anchor points and Fractal's own velcro straps theres no excuse for bad cable management as the means to keep those cables in check are practically handed to you.So its well laid out and lets you manage neatly which is good, because youve have space to manage a lot of hardware, there are Drive slots en mass in this case with space for 2 x 2.5" drives on a easy mount bracket behind the motherboard cut out, with room for a further 2 behind the resevoir-wall on a similar easy mount panel or a 3.5" with rubber vibration dampeners if you desire, then room for second 3.5" drive on the case floor ( or a pump, depending on what you fancy using there)I've mentioned resevoirs and pumps now so it shouldnt be a surprise that it has water cooling support, with room for a 240mm radiator on the front and top of the case (providing the ram doesn't interfere with the top radiator) or a 120mm on the rear fan mount, with all those open zones for fans and radiators youve got a right to be concerned about dust building up but have no fear as the bottom, front and top all have some form of dust prevention. The front and bottom have sturdy filters while the top has the Fractal "Mod-u-vent" a panel which clips into the top of the case when its not being used for fans or radiators. as for fan mounting itself the front and top can support 2 140mm fans while the rear and floor support a 120mm fan each, 2 case fans are included a 140mm intake and 120mm exhaust at the front and back respectivelyThe resevoiwall is a nice spot to mount a resevoir if you feel like making a fully custom loop in this case which is entirely possible and probably what fractal had in mind as like the rest of the define series.Being an M-itx case this only features 2 pci-e slots as thats all itx supports anyway, this allows you to install a dual slot graphics card pretty much as long as you want, I have a 1070 founders edition in here with a good couple of inches to spare. As for power supplies, in general shorter power supplies I would recommend but this case does support full sized ATX PSU's so theres not much worry to be had there. The window is very generous in size allowing the full scope of the contents of the case without showing off too much (it hides the very edges where youre likely to hide lighting strips or cables on the floor of the case)The IO is pretty standard, 3 usb3 ports, headphone, mic, power and reset. In general, this is one of my favourite PC cases, it takes the best of both worlds, the hardware support and cooling found in larger cases and the form factor of itx and makes this a dream build for the price

Firstly this case is really well designed. Stylish, quiet (due to noise reducing material) and with a little window to view your PC parts in all their glory, I can't really fault it. The case itself has some lovely features such as retained screws in the side panels so they don't fall out and roll away, nice large dust covers and raised feet in order to reduce dust entering the case and a removable cover on the top to reveal even more places to mount a radiator or fans. The case was designed to allow liquid cooling and although I have put an AIO liquid cooler in mine, I can see that there is certainly enough room to build a custom loop. The build itself was easy, unlike other M-ITX cases where one is squeezing components and wires into small spaces, this case made it easy to build a little PC. I never felt like I ran out of room and there is, (with a little bit of time and patience),easily enough room in the rear to do some nice cable management.Overall this case is exactly what I wanted, perfect for anyone looking to build a quiet, little PC.

I purchased this case as a beginner, for a Mini ITX motherboard with a CPU water cooler. It is very easy to assemble and reassemble, thanks to thumb screws, sliding panels, and pull front cover. I constantly tinker with my build so this ease of access is invaluable. The manual is Ikea levels of simple, use it as a quick guide to building your PC, instead of a 20 minute Youtube video by egotists that won't stop yapping. The slots on the case divider provide a number of ways to manage cables; I have virtually no wires visible from the window panel. Also, the stock fans are a nice bonus from Fractal given their quality and quietness. Other brands tend to cheap out in this area.

My intention was simply get a solid case, not too small - this will help with cooling, when working on it and potential to add things to it. Hoping it should last indefinitely.Pros:# Solid case, nice build quality as expected from the price/brand.# It comes with little gubbins etc you need to start the build which is a nice touch.# Cable management 5*++, never had a PC look so tidy...# Options for placement is 5*++, many configurations for this, I only went for a simple AIO watercooled system but check out the full on watercooled builds.Cons:# Fans are very nice but not the quietest,# Its a clean looking case and not exciting,# One of the bigger cases vs MB size,

I bought this case for my new PC after using, and loving, Fractal Design cases at work.Installation of all my components was easy. I even managed to fit a Corsair H110i 280mm radiator in the front without much hassle! The case also looks great. When all the cables are hidden behind the motherboard tray, and you have LED lighting installed, your PC will look amazing! Also, in 10 years of building PCs, I've never been able to cram SO much POWER into such a small box!My build with an i7-6950X and 1080Ti easily outperforms many other, larger PCs on the market. I love it!Overall, I highly recommend this case for anyone wanting a compact, fast, small PC!

Amazing case, I'm a first time builder and doing my first build in this was so easy. I hear mini-ITX cases are normally a nightmare to work in, but I never feel like that. The case has ample room for everything, and is very easy to work in with a good amount of rubber grommets and cable management straps to keep everything in place. The motherboard standoffs are pre-built into the case which makes life much easier, and there's enough space for a maximum of 2 3.5" drives and 2 2.5" drives, so plenty of storage. All in all this is an amazing case and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a good mini-ITX chassis.

Pros: Good airflow, noise reduction, dust free design (when there's no fans on top), easy installation, great cable management.Cons: Lack of optional top dust filter, side window shows PSU area.Known Issues: You will not able to fit 240/280 mm top radiator for liquid cooling with ASUS Maximus VIII Impact due to extension on the motherboard. If you're building high end system with huge graphic card forget about cube itx cases. They won't allow enough airflow to take your components need. Even motherboard will suffer with the heat. Either get tower Mini ITX case or go for Micro ATX.

Pros: Lots of space for a mini-itx case (2 2.5", 2 3.5" drive bays), There are rubber grommets and cable management straps, as well as dust filters & thumbscrews for everything. Stock cooling fans do a great job and are relatively silent. Case looks great too.Cons: Big for a mini-itx, missing dust filter for the top panel if you intend to install a radiator. Be careful with the 3.5" drive bays as sometimes the HDDs don't sit fully into the rubber and will wobble.Overall, the best value "big" mini-itx case you can find on the market at the moment.

Great compact minimalistic case, came with easy to understand instructions and plenty of useful stuff added (cable ties, twist ties). The HDD/SSD mounting brackets can be moved around and screwed back into the front or back side of the case, which is great if you need to connect multiple drives with a short power cable from your PSU. Do keep in mind the PSU and graphics card are very close to one another in this case, but it's a compromise for having such a compact system. I used a blower-fan card to get around the fans getting obstructed.

Fairly decent case for a compact build, however the noise suppression foam doesn't work as well as I had thought but its ok. the best part for me is the look with a straight cut Scandinavian design, the build quality is very good but with some itx board variations with different 24pin orientations sometimes makes it difficult to build in. but overall its a decent case for the cheap price. P.s the noise suppression foam can make your pc run fairly toasty but nothing dangerous

This case is amazing! Nice and small but also not too big. It's got loads of room and very good cable management and room in the back to fit thick cables in. The room in the back is so handy for the SSD or HDD as it frees room up in the case itself. I would definitely recommend this case.My setupAsus Z170i Pro Gaming MoboEVGA 850W BQ PSUCorsair H45 watercoolerEVGA GTX 1070 SC Black Edition. Also this case comes with loads of screws which is so handy.

Its a nice case with good cable management features. The problem with it is that its so big for a mini-itx form factor. Saying that, the design wasn't too well thought out where the graphics card and power supply go - my card would not be able to fit if I had a full sized power supply (or it would not have enough air to cool it properly). It is, however, very silent with its moduvent fabric and quiet fans - you can hear it a bit when gaming

The good:It is pretty small and fulfills my needs.I managed to fit a Noctua NH-D15 cooler with both fans but the second fan is right against the side panel so I would not recommend, It does state that the cooler is too big for this case and depending on motherboard layout you may have more trouble than I did to fit this cooler.I love the case.Bad:The side panel window scratches very easily, be careful not to let anything touch it.

superb case for those whom dont want their desks dominated by a case, yet still want the room inside for a good deal of stuff. the layout is great and well thought out, gromets around the mobo are placed just where you need them to feed cables through the back sections and hidden, likewise being able to properly fit 3 drives back there as well certainly helps with good airflow throughout the important areas

Easy to put together and well thought-out, but with some quality issues when it comes to the front panel—the buttons and ports at the top of the case. The on/off button looks and feels nice but has a lot of play in it, for a start. The main issue I have, though, is that the USB ports included in the case look like they've been chewed. Inserting cables into them is rough/resistant and even audibly loud.
