I'll try to make this to the point as but I can waffle on so apologies in advance.Pro's-Fairly compact but big enough to get taller CPU air coolers (I have a Phanteks PH-TC14PE which is 190mm high but there's still space above it for top mounted 25mm thick fans) and watercooling systems in it-You can set it up so that the motherboard is horizontally or vertically mounted (just remove the panel that has the feet and place it on the side, however it really is geared up for a horizontal mounting, see more below)-ALL the outer panels are interchangeable on all sides of the case (window comes included)-The IO panel (USB, headphone, microphone, restart and power buttons) can be placed on the left or right hand side, which become top or bottom when you orientate the case so that the motherboard is vertical.-Magnetic air filters on the outer panels are easy to clean or wash (the front panel and power supply air filters are a fabric net)- 3x 3.5" hard drives and 3x2.5" hard drives or SSD's - if you use large capacity disks this is plenty of space for a small caseCons-Thumb screws for the panels have irregular shaped cheap plastic grips (small gripe as you can't see them at the back of the case but annoying none the less)-Thinner steel construction that I would have liked and with the motherboard mounts built in, the thread probably won't survives if you like to tinker a lot. For the price it's understandable and does the job, just don't screw too tight or push too hard when installing components.-Power supply fan bracket is an absolute pain to mount and the instructions aren't clear (remove the hard drive cage first, assemble the two metal strips of the bracket, put the power supply in position and then latch one side and screw the other in. Only then can you remount the hard drive cage).-Once the power supply is installed it completely obscures the motherboard cut out for the CPU cooler mountingThings to note-There are pictures of this with a blue LED lit front 200mm fan, mine didn't have the LED version I was happy about as I don't like distractions. The fan itself runs at maximum 800rpm where you can hear some air noise but is quiet enough at 500-600rpm.- Panels - the panel with the feet has a power supply filtered air intake which is positioned correctly for a horizontal motherboard mount. If you move it to a vertical set up, the air intake is either under the CPU or the GPU. Two of the three panels are vented however so this isn't a problem.-Fan/radiaor rails - I missed this on the Thermaltake product page (http://www.thermaltake.com/products-model.aspx?id=C_00002559) but note that if you have the both pairs of fan/radiator rails on the same panel (i.e. both on top) you can fit 2x140mm and 2x120mm or 4x120mm fans but not 4x140mm fans. I found out the hard way and the same goes for radiators (240 and a 280 or 2x240 but not 2x280mm) . Also, if you fit a 25mm deep fan on the top panel, you won't be able to fit another 25mm deep fan on the side panel adjacent to it. I haven't any thinner fans to see if that would work.-More on fan/radiator rails - Although the orientation can be changed for horizontal or vertical motherboard mounting, it really is constructed for a horizontal set up which is how it comes in the box. In this set up both pairs of rails can be mounted on the top but only one pair on either side.Tricks-If like me you have the fans set up to exhaust from the top, the magnetic air filter restricts airflow and can result in backwash. I have 2x140mm fans at the top so I just slid the airfilter off to one side to expose that area only (GPU temps dropped 3C). It's now hanging off the side but as it's a plasticy rubber material I can just cut it in half at some point and it would still work if I need to cover the whole panel again.Overall for the price, I like it.

This is a great case not just because it is a great price but because the case is ideal for a quiet, roomy well thought out space. I have fitted in the case a Z170I PRO GAMING Mini ITX board, Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 Vengeance LPX 16 GB although High profile would have fitted with my cooler I was happy to get low profile this time and an SSD ADATA SP550 M.2 2280 240GB plus two hard drives from a dead shuttle. The PSU I bought new was a EVGA 600 W 80+ non Modular, it cost £40 and is more than adequate, super quiet and the unused leads curled into small rings at the base. Intel Core I5-6600K Processor, the GPU is an old AMD MSI OC 7870 which will be replaced as soon as the new Nvidia 1060/70 drops to a reasonable price,I really enjoyed installing the board, its lovely quality, really well made and thought out and the case is ideal for it. Everything worked spot on from turning it on. The temps are running at 20c approx idle 40c under load no OC but I know there is plenty of scope to OC if I chose too. I'ts all cooled with a Cooler Master Seidon 120V ver.2 Liquid CPU Cooler RL-S12V-24PK-R2. I've used this cooler on a 1155 system and not too impressed with it but it's on a par with a good air system but with this chip it's great and ideal in a small case. I have also installed 2 Coolink SWIF2 80L Case fans 80 mm, they are super quiet and pull out warm air from the back of the case. I really love the 200mm fan that comes installed at the front its massive and does a great job of cooling everything down very quietly. I have one tiny niggle with it which is the reset button is in an awkward place and you have to be careful when using the USB ports that you don't reset your computer, I have done it once already it's easy to do. I am used to installing systems in towers with full-size motherboards but this was just as easy and the cooling and ventilation make this a great gaming case. Update: I have installed a Gigabyte 670 windforce 3 fan GPU since (GV-N670OC-2GD) and now it has an MSI NVIDIA GTX 970 Gaming Twin Frozr installed which is a lovely fit, the 670 was a very long card whereas the MSI is a tall card but both fitted and both ran at reasonable temps. What I have found is that the top perspex doesn't offer any ventilation so I have used a side panel from the right-hand side which is vented on the top and placed the perspex panel on the right this is where the Hard drives are so cooling is not as big an issue. This is a great solution for the whole system as the GPU cools better and as heat rises it will have a positive effect on all the components mobo, memory and CPU. This is my wife's machine so I'm limited to what she will let me change; if it was me I would drill plenty of ventilation holes in the clear perspex and use it on top as it doesn't really do anything for the aesthetics having it on the side. I am also going to see if my Gigabyte 1080GTX will fit sometime soon in the case so that when I upgrade my GPU She can have the 1080 as she has had my previous replaced cards. Although tbh I don't think that will be for another 2 years at least. However, it is a little longer than the 670 so I'm not confident it will fit, but it will be fun trying.

Bought two black version about two years ago, and purchased 2 'Snow' versions recently. These cases for the price are that good! There are now upgrade versions of this design at an approximately £15 price increase - not sure the improvements are worth the extra cost. I looked at other mITX cases and this one still win me over - too many mITX cases have hellishly bad air-flow for 65 to 95C TDP CPUs, imo.For an mITX new build these cases are very hard to beat as you can remove all the panels and use initially as a de facto wire frame give easy access and fitting to components etc. Very big plus. There are two niggles with the case:(a) Hard Drive attachment is fiddly but does seem to yield quiet drives (if mechanical).(b)The 200mm front fan is 3-pin and runs at a constant 800 rpm.The latter is the most concern, however two years ago getting 4-pin PWM 200mm fan was extremely rare. nowadays there are about half a dozen replacements available, one of which is PWM (at a cost of £25!). The solution is to add simple a fan controller that lowers the voltage to the fan (this requires a bit of modding). Was disappointed that the upgraded re-designed case doesn't do this. That said on my black versions which have been running for two years there is little dust ingression into the case. The dust/foam in front of the 200mm fan does an excellent job of preventing dust getting onto components albeit at the cost of a bit of hoovering now and then. Note, most of the fan noise is actually due to the dust/form filter rather than the fan itself. Surprisingly the dust filter on the PSU also does a good job and clearly required. I have not found the two 80mm fan slots on the back to be of much use - no overclocking - as the front 200mm creates enough positive pressure to make any 80mm a bit redundant. The unit does get noisier over time, due to fan wear and dust - you can't remove the front dust/foam filter so cleaning is only ever partial. One disappointment is that on the 'Snow' case the 200mm fan was the standard black in colour - there are white ones and even LED replacement ones available - and of course there are no white mITX motherboards. I did however feel that the 'Snow' had a little extra quality in the metal thickness and bits-and-bobs (more than plenty) that come with the case. Maybe mistaken but that was the impression. One improvement over the older black cases I have is that the four base stands are better quality, older ones had very cheap plastic which could easily be broken with poor care.If Thermaltake could add a LED front fan and speed control then an extra £15 would be well worth it, as is there redesign to this case is minor, so I stuck with the older design. £35 or thereabouts is very good value.Note: there are some motherboards that allow direct voltage control of a 3-pin fan. The 200mm can drop to 50% minimum and I have found anything under 75% is super quiet if not near silent (very handy when not gaming).Oh and a small benefit is that these types of cases are very easy to stack under a desk!

I've changed a few miniITX cases (corsair rc 130 being the worst...was overheating and has cpu heatsink limitations) and can tell you "Thermaltake Core V1 Mini ITX Cube" is amazing.you can add a massive cpu heatsink. Power suppply sits perfectly at the bottom and the massive 200mm Fan(with a filter) at the front cools down the box exceptionally well at 500rpm.You can mount 2 extra small fans at the back, but you don't need them to be honest. The hot air goes out the box from the sides and the back with cool air being sucked in and filtered from the front.Sits on my desk and it's virtually silent. You definitely need an SSD and if you get a mechanical drive for data make sure you set it up so it goes to sleep as the hybrid Seagate is the noisiest thing in my box.Being able to remove top, bottom, side and front panels, makes the installation a breeze. You can see on the pictures how the foam filter has collected dust from about 3.5 months. I haven't tried cleaning it yet, but I'm guessing I could just use a duster. The only cons I've found are:Poor placement of the power button. You can easily turn off your PC when dealing with the side USB ports, I use extension usb lead so I'm not too bothered.Another issue was that side panels might be rattling, barely noticeable, but if you've got it on your desk you might hear it. I've fixed it by sticking on some tape on the inside and then slide the panel in. You might think of another, better, fix, but that's what I came up with after 2 second of thinking :)I've got Noctua cpu heatsink.Corsair PSU ( I haven't heard the fan working yet)i5 4460Strix gtx970 (silent below 65°)SSD 850 EvoAsus Z97 Plus MiniITXPlease ask If you've got any questions or need more pictures. Please note: Asus Strix Gtx 970 is not officially supported as it's very long. Many people have managed to squeeze it in, including me, by removing the front fan first. Be very carefull when installing it! You don't need to apply any pressure on the board, you just need to find the right angle.

No doubt about it this is an extremely good quality case for the price (£34 for me). Some points that may not have been mentioned:-a) There is a very good video on Youtube.b) Comes with a large 200mm Fan at the front - not PWM, rpm fixed at 840.c) Apart from the back all the other sides are easily detachable (finger screws) making building a breeze. Not only that but the side and top panels are interchangeable, so you can move the windowed one around as you choose.d) You can fit a full length - high powered - graphic card and/or CPU cooling, but you would have to lose the 200mm fan.e) You can fit 2x3.5 drives plus 2x2.5, four in total. No room for an internal DVD.f)Standard Consiar 430W PSU fits no problem. My only disappointed was the fixed 200mm fan, would have prefer PWM but appears you would have to spend a lot more than £34 to buy one! Was this or the Coolmaster equivalent (also good imo), reasonably confident I made the right choice :)~Update (9 months old):Still reckon this is one of the best. The only problem as originally mentioned is the 3-pin on the large front fan - I solved this by fitting a small fan controller (essentially a simple pot.). However I have since bought a second one and with an ASUS H87i mobo the front fan can be directly controlled making this a wonderfully quiet case. Almost prefect in fact!Maybe not mentioned before is that the design means there is little hassle in fitting a CPU cooler of almost any form. Something I didn't appreciate till I used a couple of other cases.Only negatives since has been the plastic feet - I bought some simple rubber ones for a few pounds- these can be easily broken and the closeness of the reset button can result in mis-hits when inserting a USB device. There is a Mark 2 version of this case than sells for £15 more (has additional grill coverings (if you switch the front fan off you'll get dust ingress from the sides), for £50 I may look for more quality in the components.

I Bought this for my first mini-itx build.PSU goes into the bottom of the case and sits beneath the motherboard. There's a gap where the PSU cables can be fed into and loop upwards to reach the motherboard and any other components that need power. You can also tuck loose cabling away down here for cable management.Front fan is pretty quiet during normal use, which is pretty good for a stock case fan especially in a tower this cheap. It has two slots next to the PCI-E slot of the motherboard, so most graphics cards will fit in here fine. One negative is the lack of cd-rom drive, but this is only a downside if you wanted to use it.If you plan on loading your OS through a usb drive and never using cd-roms then it's no issue. It also only comes with 2 drive caddies, which state in the manual that there is room for 2 2.5 inch drives and 2 3.5 inch drives, which means you'll be fitting an SSD and a hard disk on the same caddie, making it a somewhat fiddly process if you plan on using more than 2 drives. Like with the cd-rom though, this is only an issue if you plan on using more than 2 in the first place.Using stock coolers, my CPU sits at a modest 32C when idle, highest i've seen it was 60C. GPU stock idles at 35C, highest was 75C.Overall, I'm very happy with this case, and would recommend it to anyone who wants to start their first mini-itx build on a budget.

Let me start by telling you the reason I bought this case. I was spraying my computer with compressed and a little bit went on the window, this ruined the window due to it leaving a huge stain which wouldn't come off even after using soap and water, bleach and alcohol rub.I went for this case as a replacement and wasn't expecting too much for the price, the lowest I would ever spend on a case is £80 due to quality, I was actually looking at the corsair cube cases but I took a shot in the dark with this one and let me tell you I wasn't disappointed. There's a lot of space in the case and I mean a lot, if I wanted too I could take the liquid Coolers out of my main rig and fit both of them in this case. This is currently my 3rd built PC and inside is a GTX 1060 6gb Asus Turbo with a micro atx mobo, 1 200mm fan (case fan, comes with) 1 150mm fan, 3 corsair 120mm fans, 1 cooler Master heatsink fan with the hyper 212 evo heatsink and an I5 6600k and there's still room for 5 more fans and 3 ssds. The cable management is decent but I've seen better and the only complaint being the fan holders are too weak when screwing in the fans. Also all of the sides come off which makes building the PC a breeze, also comes with dust protectors.10/10 would buy again and I employ you to take a chance with this one.

OVERVIEWA very small M-ITX computer case which has plenty of room for a 92mm CPU fan. There was lots of rooms for additional cooling or the option to swap the 140mm front fan for a 140mm Rad instead. The case has interchangeable side panels which could be swapped around. I went for a glass panel on side and air vents on the top however it was shipped with glass panel at the top and air vents on the sides.CONTENTSCaseManual140mm case fan4 large rubber feetA large bag of screwsPower cordSPECThis is for M-ITX only sized motherboards. ATX or MircoATX sized motherboard will not fit this case due to it small size. The case can easily fit a double sized graphics card with easy,in my setup I was able to fit a reference Palit GTX970 graphics card. There is a large 140mm case fan pre-fitted to the front of the case to help keep it cool and quiet. There was slots for 2 x 80 mm rear case fan. Please note the I did try a 120mm CPU fan but it did not fit because of the height, however I did manage to fit a 92mm fan without any issues or restrictions. On the front is 2 3.0 USB ports and a HD audio Mic and headphone jacks.OVERALThis case was prefect. The size, room and nice ideas all made this the best small case on the market9/10

Absolutely amazing case. I bought this to increase air flow in my PC as it was getting way too hot when I did 3D CAD. I have upgraded my system (which should now produce much more heat) and yet the temps are incredibly low. I have ordered a new 200mm fan (the bitfenix spectre pro) to replace the stock fan on the front of the case, but the stock fan is still surprisingly good. The case itself is absolutely brilliant, its so spacious and offers almost infinite customisation possibilities.Although this is an micro ATX/ mini ITX case, it could easily be modded to support a full ATX board - with room to spare. For the price, this has to be one of the best cases available. It looks great, works great,is so easy to install components into and allows you to make it completely unique. It is built well and I love the idea that you can fix more than one together to allow for room to install a huge water cooling system. If you are considering a case, I would suggest this one, you will not be disappointed.

The cast is nice, and can be customised to provide a nice aesthetic, it has a plastic seethrough side which will allow users (if they wish to) customise and throw LED's into the setup to show a nice. One issue which people should know before buying this is that there is no space for a disc drive, so installing via USB is recommended.Another when building is that you need to install the PSU first, and then the motherboard, but if you have a back plate for the CPU cooler(I made this mistake) you will need to take out the motherboard and put it on as you're unable to install it while the motherboard is screwed in.These are only minor issues,it's an absolutely fantastic case which can fit nicely into square areas rather than the traditional tall cases. It's also worth noting that you may mount a large number of fans onto the case which in some situations can be very good.Overall, the case is a decent price, which allows for heavy customization and can be very space saving in some circumstances.

excellent micro atx case with options galore, air cooling, liquid cooling, stacking, changeable panels, vertical or horizontal case and motherboard placement, get yourself over to thermaltakes website just to see how mental this case is for building a small gaming rig, you could have upto 6 240's in here if you maxed it (thats MENTAL for such a small rig), there is also talk of releasing a 5.25 inch drive bay panel for it, so watch out for that, you can already get window panels and bars for mounting fans on thermaltakes website, a panel is only £15This is a top case for those who want options, and in that case, it will be a modders favourite for sure, small compact gaming rigs look the biz,and with this case there is no compromise on using extreme parts that throw a lot of heat out, because this case will cool ANY part you throw at it, and its also cheaper by around £20 from other brand name micro atx cases

Great case! totally recommend it for anyone looking for a case not too big, but also very versatile. Panels placements are switchable, it has extra space past the grill for your gpu and lots of space for cable management. You can hide your extra cables if your psu isn't modular in the lower compartment the acrylic panel is also very good sturdy and all the panels are quite thick compared to my coolermaster elite 130 itx case. If you really need a dvd drive don't buy it as you see from the pictures there is no area for one anyway, its not the most compact case but it has alot more airflow than your usual itx case.I've owned a fractal design node 304 and also a coolermaster elite 130 itx this case is my favourite in terms of ease of use and 2nd in aesthetics the white node 304 personally looks just a bit more eyecatching.

Great case, tonnes of room in it and easy to build in. However there's some issues to point out.-The front I/O cables are far, far too long. Making cable management a pain.-The front panel dust cover is a absolute pain to clean and will clog up with dust no matter what. There's no way around it unless you take out the front 200mm fan and you a different fan mount for intake.-Lack of any cable management features. If you're gonna get the case, get a modular power supply to make your life easier. On the plus side, it'll house pretty much any size graphics card, any size of CPU air cooler, a ridiculous amount of fans, or if you're feeling fancy, a hell of a lot of radiators and water cooling. It looks good, and there's a lot of customization to be had with it.

I really did my homework before buying this case. It has received multiple awards and offers efficient and silent cooling with easy access to work in. I think the way it separates the PSU from all the other components is great and helps a lot with cable management. The window is great and interchangeable with the other panels or if you prefer can purchase additional panels online. Only slight negative is that the side panels come with no air filter over the vents, not so much of a problem if your not using a dedicated video card as the airflow will generally be pushing out of the vents. A dedicated video card however will be dragging dust into the case without this.Overall the product and price is worthy of the 5 stars I have given it.

What can I say about this case, amazing customization options available you can rotate the case around to suit, mount motherboard vertically or horizontal, front plate can be moved top, bottom or either side depending on the layout you prefer (2 usb 3.0 ports on front)The panels themselves are also interchangeable so once you have built the PC you can decide that you want the clear panel on top or at either side as you please to give the best look for your build.I would say this case is not as sound proofed as some but the 200mm fan at the front is all but silent even at half load, full load you can hear it but not to any great degree.Would recommend this again and again for anyone looking amini atx case with BIG possibilities.
