OMG!!! This thing is huge, normal case height and depth for a mid tower eATX, but 1.5X the width, this width is put to good use, separating the PSU and drive bays from the motherboard area, effectively giving you half a case extra to hide all the wiring from view and not actually have to squeeze it up tight in the nooks and crannies like a standard size mid tower, 3 x 3.5 and 4 2.5 bays sit above the PSU in this section as well as the RGB controllers for the 3 included ll140 fans preinstalled to the front...controllable through the Corsair Icue software available from their website, opening the tinted and tempered hinged glass side panel which has 1 screw in the top hinge to stop you accidentally falling off when you tip it upside down, also remove this screw and lift off the glass to give more access when building you rig. The top mounted front panel consists of power and reset switches, power led, 2 x 3.0 USB AND 1 x USB C which if you want to use will require the new rectangular socket on your board or a PCI-e card. Along with the 7 PCI slots in the rear of the case there are an extra 2 outboard of them so you can vertically mount your graphics card securely though you need to source a 200mm+ PCI-e extension cable (I have the Phanteks in this build), this exrtra feature also means should you mount your gfx cards there, the remaining slots on the board remain usable as opposed to the kits that mount into the slots. The screws for the side panel and pci slot covers are knurled thumb screws, as are those for the top glass panel and front and top filter holders, in all there are 3 magnetic (top, front and PSU side panel) and one slide out filter underneath, the top and front filter trays also have mounting points for 120 and 140mm fans/AIOs or twin 120/140 AIO on the top or up to triple 120/140 AIO on the front, the base of the board space also has twin 120/140 fan mounting holes ready for action and the rear has a preinstalled 140mm standard Corsair fan fitted to exhaust the case. This case easily accepts any board up to EATX and standoffs are preinstalled, though be careful if fitting a Threadripper board (TRX/sTRX) as you'll probably need to remove the top center one to prevent damaging your board. All the hardware you need to fit any component in the case is supplied and the instructions are easy to follow. I also found a nice little hideyhole behind the right hand front cover which simply pulls off (not the glass side, that's screwed on), I move the RGB controllers and hid all the RGB wiring in there so that the cables looked a lot tidier and easier to figure out which part of the system they are supposed to run to. The price is high, but the quality of this case can be seen by your delivery driver breaking their back getting it out the van, and although I do find Corsairs products have a premium, this case is worth it, and so impressed by this one I was that I purchased the the mATX version of it for my sons system. A well earned 5 stars and yet another faultless product from Corsair.

This is for the corsair crystal series 460x RGB. As an overview this case looks gorgeous. It is a great build quality and very easy to build. Out of the box the case comes with all the screws you will need to mount all your components. My reservations with this case are short and not too important for the experience with usage. The layout is reasonably well thought out. The PSU cover also hides the hard drive bay, where you will find the included screws. The PSU cover is plastic and is of reasonable quality, however when wiring any USB ports, SATA cables, etc to the lower motherboard ports it can be a little fiddly to wire them up through the PSU shroud gap. However, the overall aesthetic pf the shroud makes time spent wiring the cables worth your time. I have a few reservations with the overall cable management of the build due to not too much space to hide cables. The case comes with some cable ties which are very useful to organize the cables, however it is a lot more useful using your own cables on top of that. Of course for those inexperienced with Computer building, you will want to check your motherboard has enough slots for the fans, and if not a 4 fan extender can be easily bought for around the £10 mark. Finally, the case comes with a SSD mount which is reasonable quality. However, just for cable management purposes i decided not to use it and i mounted my SSD inside the internal hard drive bay below my HDD, which seems like the more logical choice if you're using two or less drives. The quality of the SSD mount is not the best as the holders for the SSD's aren't the sturdiest, however it is just an extra which is not necessary. The positives of the case are numerous. The overall look of the case is amazing, and is very easy to install your components into. I, myself was only moving components from my old case to this one, which is a very big upgrade in terms of quality. The fans can get a little loud, but they have very good airflow, so you can just adjust the temperature graph in the bios options for fan speed. I liked the fans so much, that I also bought two additional Corsair fans, The ML 120 pro magnetic levitation fans which are very efficient and quiet. The experience with the case is amazing and with a little bit of time put into cable management, they will not get in the way or bulge either unlike my old case. I was also missing a rubber thumbscrew washer on the side panel thumbscrew, however I have spare rubber washers for now, and I corsair has sent a replacement thumbscrew washer for no charge very quickly. Their support was very good. This case is worth the price and is great quality. It is one of my favorite cases and still comes under an affordable price.

This is a high quality case with the inclusion of some great accessories, like the RGB fans that cost £50+ to buy alone. Then there is the tempered glass front, top and both sides. This has compromised the case underneath and it does seem that the steel is on the thin side. However this does not seem to effect the strength of the case, with the glass fitted it is rock solid.I feel it could be a 5 star case and now that I have it built I love it, however I hated the problems with the build that could have been avoided with extra space given to the cable management runs and panel. It is the back glass panel that causes the most grief in that, by its nature being see through, leaves cable management a challenge.Personally I think Corsair have not provided enough resources to make this a descent task. My build took almost all day mainly due to cable management issues and the cable panel. Getting the panel to even close is a bit of a nightmare. It seems too narrow and the metal seems too thin. I know making it wider and thicker would add weight to an already heavy case (with the glass on) but I feel it would look so much better. I have power cables for hard drives that I can’t put in the cable tidy panel and still connect them to the hard drives, and they won’t slip down the sides of the caddies because not enough space is given between them. I had to have my GPU cable extension run separately away from the main cables and out from the PSU cover, not what I really wanted but the only solution I could think off bar the use of a crowbar. The cables for the power switch and hd audio have no recessed area to manage them instead you just have to get them to lay flat as possible.Still all said and done this is still one amazing looking case at the end of the day.I had delays in the build due to issues installing my predator 360 AIO so don’t for get to research compatibility of any 360 radiators you have if you’re thinking of using them. I had to slightly alter the case by removing a tab to fit it. Plus I had only enough space left for one fan up top.I feel this is not a beginner’s case maybe the 460x would be better there.I would love to see a revision of this case with at least 2 inches of length and a wider cable management panel and more recesses in the back for other cable runs.Pros:Amazing looking with the glass.Decent amount of space inside, I managed to fit a 360 AIO with push pull config to boot.Doesn’t scratch as easy as acrylic.Cons:Cable management cover is a nightmare if you have thick wired extensions to contend with.PSU cover could do with an end cap.Have to be careful where you lift the case, so not to break the glass holder pegs off.

I've been a pc builder for some time now and have used many different cases for builds. And some cable management issues aside this is by far one of the best cases I have every built in and it looks absolutely superb. Corsair make some amazing cases and being offered this to review was quite fortuitous timing as I fancied changing up form my current bitfenix budget case. When it arrived the first thing that struck me was the size of the box. This is a big case!As can be seen from the picture the unique point of this case is the four tempered glass sides which look superb. Opening the box also reveals the screws and cable ties supplied for the fit. The glass panels come protected with a plastic film to prevent any scrapes or scratches. The case also comes with 3 Corsair fans prefitted to the front tucked behind a dust filter. These are controlled by a built in fan controller that you can adjust speed, brightness and effect with. The shame here is that it isn't ppm and requires manual control. I prefer to run everything off the motherboard but this is ok.The side panels provide a clear unobstructed view of the internals whilst the rear panel is pretty standard affair. The pus is bottom mounted with a pull out dust filter and the feet allow the case to site of the floor a decent height for airflow. The top io panel has power button mic and headphones, usb3 ports and the fan controls.Building inside is actually very straightforward. The motherboard standoffs are preinstalled and fitting my board was easy enough. There is tons of spam and my overly large GTX 1070 fits in with bags of room to spare. There's plenty of room for a custom water loop in here. One thing fitting the board reduces the ability to fit a rad in the ceiling oddly, though I would fit the rad to the front personally.Round the back of the mob tray is mounting mounts where you could easily fit a couple of SSD's and larger storage drives out of the way which is a nice touch. There are plenty of points for securing cables but I would suggest using a modular psi otherwise its going to be pretty crowded and cable management would be more of an issue.Overall a superb case but cable management could be an issue. I'm not fussed on the fan controller myself so would swap out the three fans. If the psi shroud was longer it would go a long way to tidying the cables out of the way. That said a superb case but the glass may make you a little old about the cabling.....

I essentially pre-ordered this case a while before it was due to ship. In my huge excitement when it came I felt there was little wrong with this case. However there are a few small things I would have liked to see. But overall you get what you pay for, nice looking fairly thick smoked/tempered glass all round. Damn fingerprints and dust :'( the magnetic dust filters are a nice addition as this makes it fairly easy to clean it all out after taking off a couple of panels. When building in this case you do have to have some good planning for cable runs otherwise you wont be happy with it.The negatives: Considering the price of this case it would have been nice for corsair to ship this with the HD series fans, along with the associated controller, as you cannot by default add in the HD series fans into the case with the built in controller. The logos in rgb led's would also have been nice to see. However the white is a a neutral colour so there's no huge issues here, more of a nice touch. The power supply shroud is always a nice addition to a case, it really neatens it all up, however sadly I can imagine for longer power supplies you will likely see the ends of the cables. One issue, as far as i know specific to my case, the front panel is somewhat difficult to put on, as the screw rarely start in a straight direction (they end up skewing and you have to force the panel upwards a little.). To remove the front and top dust filters you have to take of the top and front panels to get to the respective filter. Which is a bit of a pain, however there are worse cases for things like this. I would have liked to see an ssd mount in the main chamber of the case rather than the back, just to allow you to show off the ssd if you have a nice looking one. However Velcro really isnt very expensive. I really wish case manufacturers could somehow make a usb3 header which has either a 90 degree or just more flexible as this means theres either a lot of strain on the motherboard header or it looks, well less nice.

I planned to use this case for a white themed gaming PC build with white led fans, white MSI KRAIT motherboard, EVGA 1070 FTW with led's set on white, Corsair Vengeance white led RAM and white cables and that worked out really well but I quickly realised that just using one colour you really miss out on some lighting themes that this case can make look exceptional.Case lighting is a personal taste but you wouldn't buy this case if you didn't like it, I set all the led's to slow breathing mode on the MSI KRAIT motherboard, the EVGA 1070 and the case fans and it looks very cool, it's not a manic flashing disco just a slow ebb and flow which the glass case makes look quite classy with it's subtlereflective surfaces.I don't usually have my PC on the desk but this case is so cute and well proportioned with a small footprint that it would be crime to hide it away, checking the measurements of the GPU and the case before buying and I was concerned that the case is only about 5" longer than the 1070 GPU but because of the design layout there is plenty of room in the case and it has a very solid feel thanks to the steel frame with it's wide stance and chunky feet with big rubber soles, it's very stable and doesn't slide around. Some people commented space for wiring is tight but I used white cable extensions on the ATX/PCI-E x 2 and EPS cables and still had room to hide them away, I didn't use the SSD drive bays behind the motherboard as it was easier for wiring to use one of the 3.5" bays with a 2.5" adapter, it's a gaming rig so one 3TB HDD and one Samsung 500GB SSD is all I use.The only negative things are the rubber grommets on the glass side panel could be better as they fall out easily when removing the panel and it's annoying that a rear case fan is not included as I guess most buyers will want another matching 120mm RGB fan but that's often the way with new cases, I usually buy a new case when building a new PC but for future builds I will definitely be keeping this case.

In summary, if you want a tempered glass case (both side and front) without 5.25" mounts (thus short) middle price (not too cheap but not top end) this is likely one of the very best. Get the non-RGB version and buy PWM RGB fans for cheaper. Now I'm not a professional reviewer and I have not built countless PCs but perhaps more than a dozen and this is the finest I've ever built; if you wanted a NZXT-style case with better build (and front glass) this seems to be it.Yes, put the PSU in first - I have a X299 system so a 1200W long EVGA PSU had to fit - thus best to be done first. If you don't use any 3.5" HDDs then just don't mount the HDD cage for better airflow; to be honest I am not a fan ofthe back 2.5" mounts for SSDs perhaps just use on-board PCIe/NVMe SSD on the mainboard - with heatsink - and be done with the whole mounts. As mentioned I think the RGB version with 3 non PWM fans is not worth it for a modern build - you likely have a mainboard supporting PWM which is superior to voltage control - myself I got the RGB ML PWM fans (also Corsair). Not to mention the 3-button colour/speed/etc. controller does not have dedicated buttons on the case but needs to be "tucked in".So budget for 4 PWM LED fans (RGB or single colour) and re-purpose or sell the included fans.I should mention that my version was probably assembled by a "rogue employee" that jammed the HDD cage at an angle (see pic) which is not great show for quality control - it was visible from the outside. Thankfully no harm done, it could be straightened out. Corsair - are you not paying those people enough or are they not trained enough???Still I feed I could not have chosen for the price better - yes perhaps the similar price NZXT, SilverStone, Phanteks, etc. are similarly good - but I definitely know this is good.

The corsair crystal 680x is one of the best cases I've ever laid my hands on, it's the definition of an overkill enthusiast case & the price shows it.If you dont mind paying the premium for corsair products ( trust me I don't! ) then the 680x is the way to go, its covered in tempered glass and RGB and just screams quality. The included fans are quiet, bright & all cable managed into a controller that plugs into your RGB controller module. The case is a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be, being nearly twice as wide as my old NZXT s340 so having a lot of room under or on your desk is kind of essential. So apart from being super high quality and having a lot of RGB what else does the 680 have to offer?Well with cable management slots in abundance it's hard for your system not to look super clean and organized. There is plenty of space and mounts for fans / watercooling radiators & even a slot to vertically mount your GPU ( though I would of really liked to of seen a corsair vertical GPU riser included with the case to make use of the vertical slot, considering this is one of the more premium cases on the market). So my overall opinion is that this is a fantastic case, it's super easy to build in, looks flashy & has a premium feel too it, it really does show off your build. The drawbacks to the case are quite minimal, being that it's a lot larger than first anticipated ( though this isnt necessarily a drawback ) & I would of like to of seen more RGB fans included ( to fill all the fan slots ) and a vertical GPU mount, though what you get for the price is already quite good. I'd advise anyone in the market for a flashy premium case to buy the 680x!

My previous case was a Coolermaster HAF X which is a giant case, this is basically the same size but taking the height away and giving it width really makes it feel a bit smaller, by air volume it's possibly slightly bigger.Aesthetically I think it's gorgeous but that's my opinion.I gave 4 stars for 'easy to clean' because it's a very nice rough-ish matt black finish that I am surely to scratch and live with regret. I am not sure what type of cleaning product to use on the exterior but I suspect traditional dust/polish sprays could end in a bad time.It was a bit of a dream installing everything, the only drawback was only three 3.5" drive bays and I have about seventy-eight 3.5" drives, well 6.I happened to have a 3.5" drive enclosure so used that for the other three drives and it just about fit underneath my 1080, not pretty but functional until I upgrade my drives.I couldn't quite figure out the magnetic dust cover, it seemed to not quite fit or I'm trying to place it incorrectly, more likely me being a fool but it's sufficiently out of my eyeshot to care any further at this stage. Also the side opening glass door is a delight whereas the opposite panel has those annoying thumbscrews that have a small extension before the thread, very old school and one of my least favourite types of thumbscrew, but that panel will only ever be opened on rare occasions so I can live with it.The rear case fan has no RGB but it's not always going to be visible for a lot of people, easy enough to pop one in if it's needed. The front RGB has encouraged me to embrace all my RGB bits and pieces so I'm going to increase those because of this case.I like the pretty lights.

This case is simply amazing. The RGBs are stunning and adding three extra SP120 RGBs to the case has really added the final touch. Although it would of been nice to see Corsair include at least one of these for an exhaust. But never the less the fans provided have already been cable managed nicely. Airflow in the case is quite good. My CPU (7700k clocked to 4.5Ghz) is cooled with a H100i v2 mounted at the front of the case, with 2 of the fans included, providing the intake and it stays between 25C when idle and 50C under load. The fans are running at 40% all whilst staying very quiet at 40-45db.I only have 3 issues with the case. Firstly, the room for cable management at the back is poor.My 24pin power cable is causing the back of the case to pop out slightly. Secondly Corsair have added a section whereby you need to insert a long thin screwdriver to remove the screws holding in GPUs/PCI extension slots.. Something that I didn't have! Finally the 3.5inch drive bay is crap - it is easy to remove and this can cause issues when pushing in a new drive. The bay is also visible even with the cover on! I plan on removing this soon. All in all, I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a tempered glass RGB case - I picked it over the 570x because it seemed like overkill.. surely nobody wants to see the cabled section.*UPDATE*I have recently moved some stuff in the case. The 3.5" tray can be moved so it is not in view. Although there is less room for cables coming from the PSU so I would only recommend doing this is you have a modular unit. It can also be screwed into place so it is not loose.

Be warned … this is a review from a self-confirmed technophobe and not a technical review. I have kept this review fairly jargon free and tried to give my opinion as a layman not an expert. When the box arrived in the post, my first thought was how large and extremely heavy it was … this would be because of the solid tempered glass panels which are provided for EVERY side of the case. The size of this case is 234mm in width x 512mm in height x 480mm in depth. It comes with three 12cm fans but has plenty of room for up to six fans in total. Most radiator sizes are compatible including 260mm, 280mm and 120mm.The four panels of grey glass that are supplied for each side of the case arrive well protected and ready to fit.All screws and ties are provided. Once these glass panels are fitted to the lightweight metal frame, the case becomes very solid and stable. The build quality of this case is exceptional and should last a very long time. The feet underneath the case allow for airflow under and around the case. The fans are operated using the built in controller which alters brightness, speed and colour … effects that look amazing. A little niggle … the fans are quite noisy and my son hasn't worked out how to reduce the noise yet. This case, like other cases of its ilk does not have a space for an internal DVD / Blueray drive … so if you need one it will have to be an external drive. This is a superbly made and truly beautiful case and is perfect for someone like my son who appreciates the beauty of the inner workings of a PC. He is really looking forward to building another gaming PC using this case.

I am not going to waste your time so I will make a quick description then give you the pros and cons of this case. It's the most awesome looking case I have ever used and the temps are great inside it. It come with 3 rgb fans and one normal fans. I don't normally write reviews but in this case I had to.I have included one picture and will post more for you guys to help you make your decision.Pros+ Looks (for the best looking case I have ever seen) and I have seen many+ 3 RGB LL fans come with it as well as a lighting node pro+ Great ergonomics as it's divided into two parts one for cables and PSU the other for your components, evennovices can have a great cable management with this case+ The RGB controller is awesome and easy to connect fans to+ Amazing corsair iCUE software integration if you have other corsair components+ I have to emphasise how beautiful it is again+ Spacious vertical and the width is great+ Modular hard drive and SSD sections around the back+ Ample amount of room to cable manage and amazing amount of cut outs+ Awesome vertical GPU mount integration+ Top/front/side glass panelsCons- Might not be suitable for huge water cooling loops- Maybe cost but if you look at what you get it's almost like a bargain as the 3 RGB fans alone cost close to £100- It's not the lengthiest case with respect to back to front so you need to be mindful with how you use water cooling loops also don't put a radiator at the front if you buy 30+ cm graphic cards- You will hate all other cases if you see it in action

For me this case is more of a designer bit of furniture for my room than just a shell for components as it looks incredible, especially when synced up with my mouse and keyboard. Reviews however are not my strong suit so I guess I'll just list my personal pros and cons:Pros:- Looks absolutely stunning with a really clean interior.- PSU shroud hides my ugly non-modular power supply really well.- Fans are surprisingly bright and can be controlled from the cases front IO.- Omission of any redundant 5.25" drive bays helped airflow and kept the interior cleaner.- So much room for large GPUs or even a custom water loop.- SP120 RGB fans included are really quiet even when running at max.- IncludedSSD mounts in the back help keep the main compartment looking clutter free.Cons:- Only room for two 3.5" drives? Not a massive problem for me but could cause issues for some people.- Very little room for cable management in the back, especially with the 3 ssd mounts taking up loads of room.- My larger psu barely fit in to the space between the psu area and hdd cage.- I was really disappointed when I found out the 'RGB' fans could only actually do 7 fixed colours, not the 16.8 million I was expecting and not being able to control the colours with software was also quite a disappointment. To conclude, I am very happy with my new Corsair 460x RGB as it simply looks gorgeous but the lack of 'rgbness' of the rgb fans was a real let down for me.

I do like this case... I really do... I just didn't like the price... But hey, we're in a lockdown... I had some spare money I needed to spend and a PC rebuild 'seemed' like a good idea. The case comes apart really easy, most of it is captive thumb screws and trays, mounts can be removed for ease of installation. My one gripe is that the stand offs for the motherboard were a couple of mm too low, which led to the rear IO plate being of centre from the motherboard. Not a problem if your motherboard has a built in IO plate.I removed the rear 120mm fan and replaced with a 140mm RGB one to match the front. I then have 2x 140 (non rgb)corsair ML fans in the bottom pulling air up intot he case towards the video card and 2 more 140 ML's on the H115i AIO.This gives you 3x 120mm and 2x140mm intakes and 3x140mm exhaust... Which gives you positive pressure inside the case, which is good for reducing dust build up... My old case had 2x140 intake and 3x140 exhaust... and was full of dust. It's a chonky boy though.... it's heavy and it's much wider than a normal tower. but that dual chamber design means you can shove all your cables away out of site and have a nice clean interior with all of that glorious RGB goodness.But... it's really expensive... it's the most expensive case I've ever bought... and I wouldn't consider spending that much again... Hopefully this will last me many years to come.

I really like this case. Coming from a really old Cooler Blaster that had limited cable management it was a really nice change. I see in the other reviews that people say the cable management is a bit tight, this would be the case with PSUs that aren't modular, and allow you to only use the wiring you need. However with a modular PSU this worked perfectly. The LED fans on the front look really nice, as long as you stick to one colour, it might just be me but the multi-coloured stuff does nothing for me.In terms of build it's very easy to get to everything, the tempered glass sides all come off easily, and the top filter is magnetic making taking it off and on again a breeze. The only complaint I have is when mounting a water cooled CPU the fans that I placed at the top (240mm)went far too close to the top of the motherboard blocking off some (luckily non-essential) connectors in my build. The fan controller included has space for some additional Corsair LED fans in case you want to add a bit more bling to your setup.Just to warn though, the seethrough from all sides nature of the case will have you upgrading all your components to look better, that discount RAM chip is on full display now!
