The late entertainer Max Bygraves had a memorable byline " I wanna tell you a story". He did also sing about pink and blue toothbrushes, which might have dented his street cred a bit. Notwithstanding his penchance for gender specific oral hygiene implements, and the fact he was nowhere near as good at monologues as the late Ronnie Corbett, the story was the key. Here's my story. My seven year old had requested a computer for his birthday. Now as the digital age in which we live has largely passed me by, I left this purchase in the hands of my 17 year old who knows about these things. I have no idea, quite frankly, how much my family cost per annum in play station/Wii/ telephone related technological purchases, other than my socks seem to have holes in them...permanently.I gave a sum of (virtual) money to my teen and he purchased said items. In the style of Yoda, as the purchases arrived "Very pleased were we"This unabated joy continued until we saw that this item (which let me say is really jolly very good) was to be delivered by Yodel. At this point our collective hearts sank. Those of us among us, who have never experienced the pain of dealing with Yodel cannot begin to fathom the pain and despair you will experience. Despite opting for the next day delivery it never appeared. Not to worry, the whole family sat by the bay window waiting for the erratically driven van to arrive, dropping out of hyperspeed just long enough to thrust our parcel at us, re-engage warp drive and carry on his merry way. This did not occur. Not only the next day but the day after. During this time we waited so long, the skies darkened several times, the grass grew 3 inches longer and all my library books became overdue. This meant only one thing...I had to do the live web chat with Yodel. This particular option is right up there with family funerals for sheer entertainment. The scripts the operators read from range from the sublime to the outright bull.Yodel had insisted that twice i had had a card delivered through my door, saying "where were you...fool...be in and we will try again..up your game"I don't think it actually says that, but as I never received this card its just a guess.Cue me talking to someone...eventually, who told me I could only pick up the parcel from a pick up centre, with a card...despite them never leaving one.Despite all these hurdles being placed in my way I did get the parcel. I got it 4 days late. The very nice lady in the pick up point said she had no idea as to why I had been out carded, as the delivery van had not dropped out of warp drive near my postcode for 3 days. Obviously, 3 days for a parcel delivery van would allow it to get around the world 9 times, considering how fast they drive, but it couldn't get 9 miles up the road to IV7.The upshot is, the item is fine. The hard drive holder is a little small, but the whole item represents excellent value for money in a fast moving digital age...according to a 17 year old who knows about these things. My point in this whole diatribe is to urge you to not take the Yodel option. They are without doubt, the most inefficient, company ever. If they cant find your parcel (and they can't) or say its out for delivery (and it isn't)do not believe them. I had an abscess removed from under a tooth that was less painful than dealing with these people.

I bought this case to initially house an older A64-based mATX board and related components, ahead of performing some overclocking and using as a testbed for Windows 10 before I do a main build with modern components, probably next year.As far as heat dissipation and cable routing go, I'd be quite confident about using this case to house a system with high TDP components. Admittedly I haven't tried any big hardware in here yet, but as a reference point I've overclocked the old 1.8GHz Sempron to 2.4GHz with a fairly modest Xilence heatsink fitted, and it doesn't go above 40c at full load. That compares very favourably to the same set up in other mATX cases with only rear fans, where temps have been 10c higher. There are multiple 120mm fan mounting locations, and space enough for water systems, though you won't want tubing to be any longer than it has to be within this case. The dust mesh on the front and underneath the PSU are welcome, but I would have liked some sort of blanks included for the top or rear fan exhaust segments, as if you are not using fans in all of these locations, it would prevent dust falling into the system from above. For mine and many other systems, one exhaust fan may be enough, and I'm currently using the supplied fan in the top-rear slot, instead of as a rear case fan, as it is proving more effective to remove the hot air from the top of the case directly above the CPU, than behind it.I only have a few other minor criticisms. If the case were just a couple of cm taller, or re-jigged slightly, there would be room for a second external 5.25" bay. It's admittedly not really what this case is aimed at, but with a case with so many fan options, if, like me, you still like to have a physical optical drive installed, it would be great to have the second bay to use for a fan speed controller. The quality of the case is not bad, but the panels are a bit on the thin side, and I have noticed that even after just a handful of gentle side panel removals, black paint is chipping off at the corners, which is a bit of a shame.Watch out for the front panel connectors too. The wires are not colour coded, and my HDD activity LED lead had been wired the wrong way round, with the little triangle on the negative lead. This may also have affected the reviewer below. This is unlikely to cause any harm, and I simply reversed its position on the header and now have a red flickering light.Rear I/O guard was a very tight fit, but it's not the first case I've had that problem with.Overall I think it's a good case for the money, just be aware that it's aimed at a single purpose - maximum airflow, and there isn't much customisation possible beyond that.

Good choice for entry-level / intermediate spec PC build. I was impressed with accommodation for cabling and tie-wraps to run from PSU through rear to connect to MoBo and storage drives. It can take 2 x 5.25" + 3 x 3.5" + 3 x 2.5" disks. I like how it can accommodate extra fans at the front (or top) and a liquid cooled radiator option at the rear so the chassis allows you to start out with modest performance and grow to take on additional heat as the system gets upgraded.I was pretty impressed with it overall but I will list a few shortcomings that (if solved) would make it even better :1. The supplied front panel has a single USB-2 and single USB-3 connector with pre-fitted header cables that prevent use of 2nd ports in the header plugs where they connect to the motherboard. This is less of a problem with the USB-2 plug as the extra pins could be added later, but the USB-3 is a factory moulded connector - it would be better if the front panel had 2 x USB-2 or 2 x USB-3 plugs.2. The supplied chassis fan is the 'dumb' 3-pin type so if your MoBo supports a 'smart' fan with a 4-pin plug, then you need to swap out the fan - otherwise it will run full speed all the time. I spotted this when ordering it so it was something expected.3. The supplied standoff fixings (needed when fitting a mini ATX MoBo) are for M3 screws - not the #6/32 size used to fit the other MoBo locations.4. The supplied PCI blank-plates are non reusable, but the chassis has screw holes to fix 3rd party blank-plates (or PCI cards) into place.

I only give 4/5. This is supposed to accommodate two 120mm fans on the case top however standard size 25mm depth fans can't fit in the front seat anyway. So a bit of a shopping spree looking for thinner fans lol. However the build quality is excellent. An open Case design with side loading bays. Not all Cables go behind the back plate recess. Probably will if you've a modular PSU mine is standard so some bundle by the PSU inside the Case. Plenty of room for multiple HDDs I prefer 2.5" Drives and with a SATA Expansion card I get 7 Drives in total. One for the OS and a hot swap bay in the Optical Drive Bay. I don't think this will accommodate a standard size Optical Drive even the Hot Swap Caddy is a tight fit.And the Front Panel Cables are tricky to position as they catch on the Caddy.

Great case that has been clearly designed for gaming in mind. It has easy access covers with panel windows, so you can see inside at your components being lit up by the motherboard. It has an open grill at the top of the case for air flow, as well as positions for extra fans if you require. With easy install trays for SSD and HDD. You can also remove the DVD drive holder for more space if you don't need one.It has also been designed for cable management at the back panel and has lots of room for a high end CPU coolers and graphic cards. However you will need an atx micro motherboard as it will not fit a full size. But most micro motherboards are relatively inexpensive so well worth the upgrade,

Absolutely superb value for money. It fits everything you could possibly need, including space for huge graphics cards, although the potential sag from a 30cm graphics card in a M-ATX motherboard would worry me a lot! That being said I only have a conservative MSI 7850 installed so this is no issue for me. I have no idea what the reviewer who said this case doesn't fit standard PSUs is on about, the case takes standard ATX sized power supplys no problem. I can only presume he was trying to install the PSU in the top of the case? My only gripe would be that there is not much room behind the motherboard tray & the thick braided cables from my PSU were a squeeze to fit back there.

Fantastic, really well made, good value case, easy access and great for tinkering with. Window looks great! The only small grip is the two thumb screws for accessing the side window panel, are just too small, esp as you use these two all the time. The thumb screws are fine but the thread and the holes are just the same as the standard ones elsewhere on the case, these should have been reinforced it's too easy to strip them. But a minor flaw, get fans, lights and new GPU's and it looks great and is allways cool

Great case for the price, big and looks really nice and is eye catching, the window is also great and looks futuristic, comes with all of the necessary stand offs and screws.3 things that bother me are that i can fit only one fan in the front, attaching a radiator in the top is hard as the whole plastic cover has to come off which is hard, and lastly too much space is taken up for the disk drives in the front which leads to only one fan at the front.Otherwise everything is great.

Really nice case except for one design flaw ... you can't use both fan holes on the top of the case. The bracket for the CD drive stops you from installing a fan in the front slot as the holes aren't in the centre of the case, they're offset to the side. Apart from that it's great. No tools needed for drives etc. Good cable management. Lols great with some coloured led strips installed as well.

Just built a gaming machine with one of these with a matx board, only catch was i couldn't slot a dvd drive in because there was pins in the way on the motherboard, make sure your board does not have any fan pins near where the back of the dvd drive will be,an external one can always be used and most pc games are downloadable now,so not much need for a dvd drive, only to install windows

13.11.2015

All good, except for the 3.5" drive bays; after installing a couple of drives using the provided mounts, there isn't enough space left between the drives and the side panel for data and power cables. Had to install the drives backwards, with cabling entering the drives from the right-hand side of the case.

27.6.2015

Great basic case, pretty roomy inside, lots of fan mounting capabilities & radiator mount capabilities, good amount of space behind the motherboard tray (has a bit on the side panel which bulges out!), hard drive mounting very easy, top section of case can be completely taken off, fan filters are great!

19.8.2018

It looks stunning, however it only has space for two fans (1 in 1 out, the other two are in a basically useless position) so if your using a build that outputs quite a bit(thankfully my build has low thermal output) you may find the case unsutable, but I like it as it looks nice.

First time I've spent this little on a case and I was blown away with how great quality it is. So many features you would normally see on more expensive cases like a PSU shroud and grommets over the motherboard cut outs. Really happy with this!

Absolutely brilliant. Just switched to a pc gamer and built a new rig. This was amazing to build my new pc in and so easy to install the hardware. Great value great case. Will promote on my gaming YouTube channel once all up and running.
