This case is beautiful. When I first saw this case and it's full tempered class front and side panels I instantly fell in love. In terms of size this case is very near the Goldilocks size - it's about as small as you can get, while still fitting an ATX motherboard and even EATX motherboards, however I think at that size in this case you could be pushing it, and so should check to make sure before buying, and for other reasons mentioned later in the review it just barely misses the mark. The motherboard tray is surrounded by large and well placed rubber grommets on the right, a small gap at the bottom just large enough to fit the cases HD audio cables through, as well as USB cables for things such as RGB control, however frustratingly these things can only fit through from the back with the motherboard either out or tilted, as the plastic ends on the ends of these cables do not fit. By making the case a few millimetres taller, or even simply mounting the motherboard a smidge higher they could have made this installation significantly easier. As well as these gaps there are a pair at the top for routing the 8 pin EPS cable through, or other cables near the top of the motherboard. These gaps are small, but big enough for anything you would need to route through them. Nearer to the front of the case are more holes for leading fan cables through. At the bottom of the case there is a power supply basement, however with the hard drive cage installed this is disappointingly small, and just barely large enough for my Corsair RM750x and it's cables to fit properly with the hard drive cage fully covered by the basement, meaning that this area can look clean, providing that you aren't fitting a longer power supply. With the hard drive cage in this position I also have room to fit a fairly thick 360mm radiator up front, with there being about an inch and a half of clearance with the three included Corsair SP120 RGB fans installed. In this configuration there is enough clearance for any AIO, and for all but the thickest radiators. And so this is where the real negatives start. There is no room up at the top to install even an AIO radiator. While this is clearly listed on the product page it could have been avoided simply by making the case an inch taller. I ended up cutting a hole at the top of this case in order to fit my Corsair H115i Pro RGB's 280mm radiator where I wanted it, at the top, and it still looks surprisingly clean however this is, for obvious reasons, far from an ideal solution. I love the size of this case, and how small it is, but I would happily have a case that is an inch taller with radiator support at the top. Adding this inch would offer so much more support to people doing custom cooling, and by doing this the case would become so much better. One of the reasons I bought this case over the Corsair 570x, other than the obvious difference in price, was that I wanted to have the ability to do a half-assed job with cable management at the rear, so a steel panel covering the back is obviously far better than another tempered glass panel at the rear for this, but there is no clearance at the back! This case really makes you work to fit all the cables in without a huge bulge in the panel. With my 24 pin cable on its own, pushed up against the motherboard tray there is still a bulge. Perhaps a set of cable mod cables may fare better for clearance purposes, but I doubt it. They have made a case almost too small to use with their own power supply cables! When I opened up the back I abandoned all hope of doing a quick and dirty job with the cable management, and thanks to the copious amounts of mounts for cable ties this was made fairly easy. It is easy to make a clean job of routing cables on both the front and back of this case, but man does this case make you work to put the side panel on!In terms of I/O I can't really complain. It is simple but not lacking, with the power button, a pair of USB 3.0 ports, headphone and microphone 3.5mm jacks, a hard drive indicator light, a reset button, and the integrated lighting control, which is very useful for tailoring the RGB fans to your build, and the controller even has space for expansion to up to 6 RGB fans, the most you can fit in this case. Unfortunately this controller is not compatible with the iCUE software, and also has no 'off' function, leaving you with the only option of disconnecting the fans RGB cables if you want them off.Overall this case is a pain in the ass to build in, but the results can be well worth it, and I would definitely recommend this case to any builder willing to rise up to the challenge. Maintenance in this case is made simple with the easily accessible magnetic dust filters positioned at the top, below the power supply, and at the front. For the aesthetics and results this case is worth six stars(!) but due to the difficulty of building in it it gets one star taken off, and for the lack of compatibility with a radiator at the top it loses another star.

I've been a pc builder for some time now and have used many different cases for builds. And some cable management issues aside this is by far one of the best cases I have every built in and it looks absolutely superb. Corsair make some amazing cases and being offered this to review was quite fortuitous timing as I fancied changing up form my current bitfenix budget case. When it arrived the first thing that struck me was the size of the box. This is a big case!As can be seen from the picture the unique point of this case is the four tempered glass sides which look superb. Opening the box also reveals the screws and cable ties supplied for the fit. The glass panels come protected with a plastic film to prevent any scrapes or scratches. The case also comes with 3 Corsair fans prefitted to the front tucked behind a dust filter. These are controlled by a built in fan controller that you can adjust speed, brightness and effect with. The shame here is that it isn't ppm and requires manual control. I prefer to run everything off the motherboard but this is ok.The side panels provide a clear unobstructed view of the internals whilst the rear panel is pretty standard affair. The pus is bottom mounted with a pull out dust filter and the feet allow the case to site of the floor a decent height for airflow. The top io panel has power button mic and headphones, usb3 ports and the fan controls.Building inside is actually very straightforward. The motherboard standoffs are preinstalled and fitting my board was easy enough. There is tons of spam and my overly large GTX 1070 fits in with bags of room to spare. There's plenty of room for a custom water loop in here. One thing fitting the board reduces the ability to fit a rad in the ceiling oddly, though I would fit the rad to the front personally.Round the back of the mob tray is mounting mounts where you could easily fit a couple of SSD's and larger storage drives out of the way which is a nice touch. There are plenty of points for securing cables but I would suggest using a modular psi otherwise its going to be pretty crowded and cable management would be more of an issue.Overall a superb case but cable management could be an issue. I'm not fussed on the fan controller myself so would swap out the three fans. If the psi shroud was longer it would go a long way to tidying the cables out of the way. That said a superb case but the glass may make you a little old about the cabling.....

It's a well-made case, sturdy and clear, and plenty capable of showing off your components. It's also large enough to house things like push-pull config CLC/AIO set-ups*. I also bought a bracket to vercially mount my GPU**It is also quite heavy, which is great insofar as it feels robust but nevertheless the tempered glass does make it heave - it is not really a tower you want to be transporting often. The design is very nice. The glass panels are well finished and beautifully clear, excellent for showing off your components. The bare chassis also feels and looks nice. I have 4x led strips hidden and running along the inside of the border of the case. The shroud hole placements (?)are quite convenient and I know the manufacturer cannot optimise for every single motherboard, the only real problem I had was for example running a usb-connector to the bottom-left of the motherboard. It sits running along the length of the bottom of the motherboard on top of the PSU shroud, although it is currently covered by my GPU mount. The back of the tower is quite well designed and in particular I like the removable metal cable casing running from top to bottom, a good place to hide fan cables and motherboard ATX etc. The CPU power cable can run up along the right boarder of the chassis, hidden away up past the SSD and in-built RGB remote are (coming through the shroud on the opposite side in the top left to easily connect to the motherboard.*I bought a 280mm Corsair H115i Platinum for the top but it won't clear the heatsinks on the motherboard. So I had to go for a front-mounted 360mm H150 PRGB Pro (which you can see in the images). I now have 2x Corsair ML120 RGB Pros on top and 1x rear as exhaust. The front push-pull config is an intake.** To vertically mount the graphics card I had to buy CableMod's GPU mount - there were other options such as Phanteks but that would require cutting the metal bracket at the back of the case between PCI slots - I did not want to permanently alter the case itself, so I went with CableMod's bracket. Just note that it will take up more room in the case by pushing the GPU towards the front - it adds about an inch. Still, as you can see there is enough room for my CLC/AIO set-up at the front with clearance. Really I am just playing around with various components and may or may not keep it vertical - I will decide shortly when I build my first custom liquid cooling loop.

This case is great! It has plenty of space, looks sleek and modern. What else are you wanting? Ohh yeah.. RGB.The fans that come with it are pretty decent, although I'd rather you just didn't send any fans. As most people are going to go for the ML or LL series fans.Cables came a little messy in the case but that was soon sorted out. But one thing I didn't like was the fan led controller, as the instructions basically aren't there. I didn't know how to use it with all my LL fans, also needing the lighting node to actually get them working with corsair link was a pain as it DOESNT COME WITH THIS CASE.The included fan controller inside the case is.. well it's pointless,as I can't see anyone taking the back off just to change the settings when there's a controller included on the cases IO.The glass side panel is pretty frustrating to take off and put on as there's nothing there to catch or hold it. Even a tiny little lip to hold it there would be appreciated! The mobo standoffs came pre installed which was pretty nice, also seeing the middle one with a nub to hold it into place is a great feature which I appreciated. The PSU shroud is great however that gap in the middle could lose their edges so removing it is far easier, as when I needed to add a cable, I had to unplug everything that was poking through the hole to remove it. It's a pretty tight fit too, and what I mean by this is when you've got a 360mm radiator with fans on it, the shroud isn't coming out without a fight. You're gonna be bending and knocking stuff to get that out or back in! So put the radiator in first if using one, cause there's not much fitting in there.Plenty of cracks and creases to hide your cables along with a huge amount of holes to feed the cables through. Also a good feature to see is the case having tall feet, for when sitting on carpet.. The psu is still getting a decent amount of airflow. So it's pretty much an amazing case with just some minor flaws.

Bought this case as an upgrade from a cooler master case that had awful airflow problems. This case breathes very well and has elimated the issue. Filtered PSU intake on the bottom of the case and behind the tempered glass front, the whole front of the case is a removable dust filter (although you do need to remove the front of the case to get to it).The tempered glass front sits around an inch forward from the air intakes so plenty of airflow here. The top of the case also has space for mounting fans or rads however the magnetic dust filter on the top of the case restricts airflow quite a bit, however this is not really too much of an issue given how well the rest of the case breathes.Cable management is a bit tight in this case, the 2.5inch drive holders (x3) are mounted behind the motherboard so this space is lost for cable management. The 3.5 inch drive bay (x2) sit near the front of the case at the bottom and limit the space for cables coming out of the psu but it is workable, though would be much tighter if you are using fan controllers or need multiple cables for SLI etc.Plenty of tie down points in the back and rubber flap insert for the cable pass through points. The tempered glass side panel does not have a lip or pins to sit on when installing so can be a bit fiddly to take on or off if case upright. The PSU cannot be slid in from the back like some other case designs and this is a bit of a pain, especially if you assume that it can when building in it like i did. This is made worse by the removeable 2 piece plastic PSU shroud that obliges you to pass your USB3, hd audio and case connectors through. This all needs unplugging if you wish to remove the shrouds or power supply.Aside from a few minor niggles this is a lovely case to look at and build in and for the price you cant go wrong!

In summary, if you want a tempered glass case (both side and front) without 5.25" mounts (thus short) middle price (not too cheap but not top end) this is likely one of the very best. Get the non-RGB version and buy PWM RGB fans for cheaper. Now I'm not a professional reviewer and I have not built countless PCs but perhaps more than a dozen and this is the finest I've ever built; if you wanted a NZXT-style case with better build (and front glass) this seems to be it.Yes, put the PSU in first - I have a X299 system so a 1200W long EVGA PSU had to fit - thus best to be done first. If you don't use any 3.5" HDDs then just don't mount the HDD cage for better airflow; to be honest I am not a fan ofthe back 2.5" mounts for SSDs perhaps just use on-board PCIe/NVMe SSD on the mainboard - with heatsink - and be done with the whole mounts. As mentioned I think the RGB version with 3 non PWM fans is not worth it for a modern build - you likely have a mainboard supporting PWM which is superior to voltage control - myself I got the RGB ML PWM fans (also Corsair). Not to mention the 3-button colour/speed/etc. controller does not have dedicated buttons on the case but needs to be "tucked in".So budget for 4 PWM LED fans (RGB or single colour) and re-purpose or sell the included fans.I should mention that my version was probably assembled by a "rogue employee" that jammed the HDD cage at an angle (see pic) which is not great show for quality control - it was visible from the outside. Thankfully no harm done, it could be straightened out. Corsair - are you not paying those people enough or are they not trained enough???Still I feed I could not have chosen for the price better - yes perhaps the similar price NZXT, SilverStone, Phanteks, etc. are similarly good - but I definitely know this is good.

The corsair crystal 680x is one of the best cases I've ever laid my hands on, it's the definition of an overkill enthusiast case & the price shows it.If you dont mind paying the premium for corsair products ( trust me I don't! ) then the 680x is the way to go, its covered in tempered glass and RGB and just screams quality. The included fans are quiet, bright & all cable managed into a controller that plugs into your RGB controller module. The case is a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be, being nearly twice as wide as my old NZXT s340 so having a lot of room under or on your desk is kind of essential. So apart from being super high quality and having a lot of RGB what else does the 680 have to offer?Well with cable management slots in abundance it's hard for your system not to look super clean and organized. There is plenty of space and mounts for fans / watercooling radiators & even a slot to vertically mount your GPU ( though I would of really liked to of seen a corsair vertical GPU riser included with the case to make use of the vertical slot, considering this is one of the more premium cases on the market). So my overall opinion is that this is a fantastic case, it's super easy to build in, looks flashy & has a premium feel too it, it really does show off your build. The drawbacks to the case are quite minimal, being that it's a lot larger than first anticipated ( though this isnt necessarily a drawback ) & I would of like to of seen more RGB fans included ( to fill all the fan slots ) and a vertical GPU mount, though what you get for the price is already quite good. I'd advise anyone in the market for a flashy premium case to buy the 680x!

My previous case was a Coolermaster HAF X which is a giant case, this is basically the same size but taking the height away and giving it width really makes it feel a bit smaller, by air volume it's possibly slightly bigger.Aesthetically I think it's gorgeous but that's my opinion.I gave 4 stars for 'easy to clean' because it's a very nice rough-ish matt black finish that I am surely to scratch and live with regret. I am not sure what type of cleaning product to use on the exterior but I suspect traditional dust/polish sprays could end in a bad time.It was a bit of a dream installing everything, the only drawback was only three 3.5" drive bays and I have about seventy-eight 3.5" drives, well 6.I happened to have a 3.5" drive enclosure so used that for the other three drives and it just about fit underneath my 1080, not pretty but functional until I upgrade my drives.I couldn't quite figure out the magnetic dust cover, it seemed to not quite fit or I'm trying to place it incorrectly, more likely me being a fool but it's sufficiently out of my eyeshot to care any further at this stage. Also the side opening glass door is a delight whereas the opposite panel has those annoying thumbscrews that have a small extension before the thread, very old school and one of my least favourite types of thumbscrew, but that panel will only ever be opened on rare occasions so I can live with it.The rear case fan has no RGB but it's not always going to be visible for a lot of people, easy enough to pop one in if it's needed. The front RGB has encouraged me to embrace all my RGB bits and pieces so I'm going to increase those because of this case.I like the pretty lights.

This case is simply amazing. The RGBs are stunning and adding three extra SP120 RGBs to the case has really added the final touch. Although it would of been nice to see Corsair include at least one of these for an exhaust. But never the less the fans provided have already been cable managed nicely. Airflow in the case is quite good. My CPU (7700k clocked to 4.5Ghz) is cooled with a H100i v2 mounted at the front of the case, with 2 of the fans included, providing the intake and it stays between 25C when idle and 50C under load. The fans are running at 40% all whilst staying very quiet at 40-45db.I only have 3 issues with the case. Firstly, the room for cable management at the back is poor.My 24pin power cable is causing the back of the case to pop out slightly. Secondly Corsair have added a section whereby you need to insert a long thin screwdriver to remove the screws holding in GPUs/PCI extension slots.. Something that I didn't have! Finally the 3.5inch drive bay is crap - it is easy to remove and this can cause issues when pushing in a new drive. The bay is also visible even with the cover on! I plan on removing this soon. All in all, I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a tempered glass RGB case - I picked it over the 570x because it seemed like overkill.. surely nobody wants to see the cabled section.*UPDATE*I have recently moved some stuff in the case. The 3.5" tray can be moved so it is not in view. Although there is less room for cables coming from the PSU so I would only recommend doing this is you have a modular unit. It can also be screwed into place so it is not loose.

There are a few small problems in what is otherwise a perfect case. Its obvious that whoever designed it in some kind of CAD software forgot about users actually installing any hardware. The dust filters are magnetic and easy to remove, but the magnets which hold them onto the case are then blocked by the screws or plastic/rubber pins used to install case fans. The front filter is unusable and falls out if you use plastic push pins such as those included with BeQuiet! fans.I have added thin magnets to be used as spacers allowing the filters to be mounted. The expansion card locking hinge is designed to sit perfectly flush with the rear of the case while no cards are installed. As soon as you install a graphics card, for example, then the rear hinged lock will not close correctly. The metal used in graphics card backplates is thinker than the thin metal used for the expansion slot covers. I've noticed this issue on three different 280X cases, definitely a design flaw.Side glass panel has no retention or support and will drop as soon as you remove the mounting screws. Can be a bit tricky to reinstall correctly. Also, dont allow for the weight of the glass to be pulling down on the screws as you close the case; this will cause the threads to become warped.Apart from those few issues its a perfect case. Plenty of room for three radiators (240, 280), the dual chamber design allowed for ridiculously easy cable management, lots of clearance at the top above motherboard for cables, radiators and fans without impacting RAM.And it looks damn good once full of hardware.

I do like this case... I really do... I just didn't like the price... But hey, we're in a lockdown... I had some spare money I needed to spend and a PC rebuild 'seemed' like a good idea. The case comes apart really easy, most of it is captive thumb screws and trays, mounts can be removed for ease of installation. My one gripe is that the stand offs for the motherboard were a couple of mm too low, which led to the rear IO plate being of centre from the motherboard. Not a problem if your motherboard has a built in IO plate.I removed the rear 120mm fan and replaced with a 140mm RGB one to match the front. I then have 2x 140 (non rgb)corsair ML fans in the bottom pulling air up intot he case towards the video card and 2 more 140 ML's on the H115i AIO.This gives you 3x 120mm and 2x140mm intakes and 3x140mm exhaust... Which gives you positive pressure inside the case, which is good for reducing dust build up... My old case had 2x140 intake and 3x140 exhaust... and was full of dust. It's a chonky boy though.... it's heavy and it's much wider than a normal tower. but that dual chamber design means you can shove all your cables away out of site and have a nice clean interior with all of that glorious RGB goodness.But... it's really expensive... it's the most expensive case I've ever bought... and I wouldn't consider spending that much again... Hopefully this will last me many years to come.

Absolutely fantastic looking case. Dark and sleek with the mirrored glass when turned off, but lights up brilliantly when you have RGB components inside. One of the best looking ones out there. But for the price you're paying for it, there are a few things that Corsair have cheaped out on and could definitely be improved:-Fans: 3 SP120 fans are included, these are Corsair's cheapest RGB fans and have no software control without having to buy a Lighting Node Pro for £45. They could have easily included nicer HD120 or LL120 fans and included a Node Pro.-Vertical GPU Mount: very close to the glass, I feel it could have been pushed back a little,or at least included a PCIE riser cable.-Cable management: the included cable routing panel is way too thin to include much more than a big fat motherboard power cable, it could have been a bit wider.-Top fan mesh: While I appreciate the included fan dust filters, the top one is not removable as the glass lays on top of the stands of it, which is a bit annoying if you want to use the top fans as exhaust where dust filters are not needed. But overall great looking case, which is what you're mainly paying for here.

I cannot fault this case really. I 'downgraded' from a Corsair Air 540 to this because I wanted a smaller footprint, and this is what I got. Looking fantastic with the tempered glass just being a bonus.Decent cable work does need some thought and planning, but is easily acomplished with patience. I plan on putting a full custom loop into this at some point as there is room for it, but just like the cables, it will require thought and patience as things can be tight. The one thing I will admit to changing, is I have removed the HDD cage and replaced it with a silent ghetto HDD enclosure (a lump of hard foam trimmed into shape) because my HDD vibrates terribly and the sound resinates through the case, but this was also apparent in my old case so I cannot fully claim it to be the cases fault.I have never written a "review" before(if thats what you can call it) but decided to for this as I am that impressed with it and would reccomend to people who know what to expect, which is a COMPACT full ATX case that looks great and functions just as good as it looks.I got it for a decent price from Amazon Warehouse Deals too, which made it all the more sweeter.

excellent case, the pictures don't do it justice, visually the glass is spectacular, cable management was easy for me as I have a power supply with flat modular cables, but if I had anything cheaper with the thicker cables I probably would have had a hard time as the space at the back isn't great, space in side the main compartment is good aswell, al though I am using a top mounted aio and its extremely close to the ram, and I have corsair lpx ram, which is already very low profile, so keep that in mind if you plan on putting an AIO up top, as a side note, if ram clearance is a big issue and you want to install an aio, the front is just as viable a spot, as there is quite a lot of clearance for the rad and fans,[ I didn't do this as I had certain fans I wanted to show off through the front glass, and putting my radiator fans there would have ruined the asthetic I was going for] overall, if your happy putting in a little bit of work and have components that will fit nicely, its one of the best cases ive used, definitely recommended.

I am into the whole RGB lightening thing at the minute and as such it was part of the reason I purchased this item. You will not be disappointed with this case if that is what you are after. However, that is not the only good features about this case, cable management is ok/good at the back of the case, with areas to fasten cables to. But if you have a fully modular psu (power supply) you could have a difficult time with all those additional cables. There are plenty of spaces around the case to run cables through so depending on where a particular cable needs to go on the motherboard you have options so as it looks neat and tidy and you do not have all cables coming from the same place. The tempered glass obviously can pick up fingerprints pretty easily but that does not bother me at all. The fans are very quiet when my system is idle and at low to medium loads. With Corsair you are going to pay a premium on their products but you get guaranteed great built quality and that is what we have in this case.
