If you're looking to move towards CPU water cooling instead of traditional air cooling, this is the best AIO you can buy. This is a high-quality water cooler and will work wonders on keeping your CPU temperature down, especially when overclocking. I have this water cooler installed in a Fractal Design Define 7 case on an Intel i7 10700K (socket 1200). I was a bit nervous because this cooler does not state support for socket 1200 (since it's brand new for 2020), but it works perfectly. The included fans are silent but do move air really well. If you use the included fan hub, you won't be able to change the RPM of the fans, but I haven't seen any issue with that.I have my 10700K overclocked slightly and seeing temperatures no higher than 70C at full load and typically around 35-40C idle.Pros:- Good quality fans, radiator, hoses, and water block.- Water block is relatively low-profile.- No RGB (pro for me, con for some).- Dead silent pump and fans.- Keeps the CPU much cooler than using air.- Support for many different socket types, including LGA 1200 (which is not advertised).- Included fan hub reduces messy wires and there is a single wire that runs on one of the hoses down to the pump.Cons:- Cannot change fan speeds using the included fan hub, but this isn't really an issue.- Pre-installed thermal paste is junk, you really should replace it with a higher-quality paste that will provide better coverage of the CPU.Some tips for this CPU cooler that I've learned along the way:- You really should use a different thermal paste than what is pre-installed. You will not get full coverage of the CPU and it's as basic as thermal paste gets. I used Artic MX-4 instead. Make sure to clean off all of the old thermal paste first.- To extend the life of the cooler and prevent pump whine, you MUST mount this cooler at the top of your case or in the front with the tubes facing down. If you do front mount the radiator, the top of the radiator MUST be higher than the water block on the CPU. This allows air bubbles to stay in the radiator instead of making its way through the water block/pump causing excessive noise.- Because I top-mounted my radiator, I actually oriented the fans to be exhaust fans. Remember, heat rises, so exhaust should be out the top and back of the case. There are people who would disagree with me, but it works perfectly and there is no change in temperatures.Overall, this is the best AIO money can buy. If you're not adventurous enough to build your own water loop, this is the next best thing.

AIO coolers are a tricky deal. Most pumps come from the same manufacturers, and the differentiation usually comes down to (1) quality control, (2) tube and stock fan quality, (3) ease of installation, and finally (4) aesthetics. Poor QC is usually what causes us to read those nightmare stories about AIO coolers- unexpected and random leaks being the top concern. The second horror story is usually installation, bending pins or otherwise incorrectly installing the radiator and fans.Fractal's AIOs are way down there on aesthetics. No RGB, very spartan appearance. But the other 3 points are top notch. They have a reputation for good quality control and long lasting parts. The tubing and fan quality (stock)are great. And their installation instructions are reminiscent of Ikea- clear, consistent and heavy use of good visuals.I can't complain. I've had the S24 for about two years now, installation was smooth and of course no leaks. Sure it doesn't have fancy lighting but honestly I *wanted* an AIO that focused more on quality than aesthetics. Fractal knocked it out of the park with their AIOs. No nonsense, just install and play. I barely notice the noise from the pump; my Corsair maglev fans are louder. Performance is top notch, my 2700x runs cool 100% of the time. Overall would recommend Fractal's AIOs and some of their fans over the competition. It's easy to get carried away with RGB and bells and whistles but what you really (should) want in an AIO cooler is quality control & ease of installation.

I’ve built several gaming PCs over the last two years. I’ve gone back and forth between air coolers and AIO coolers. I’ve used every popular AIO manufacturer models in every size too. I installed the Fractal Celsius 360 today in my own gaming rig powered by an overclocked Intel i7 9700K with a 5.0 GHz all core overclock at 1.36V.It’s TDP is about 150 watts under load maybe a bit more. It’s not easy to cool, yet alone cool quietly. I chose the Fractal because many claimed it was quiet, it matches my black and white theme, and I love that it has an auto mode independent of any software or the UEFI.See, using the UEFI to control an AIO fan is just a recipe for loud noise.Using software can be ok but quality and buggy ness of software varies from brand to brand. After a fast and simple install, I set it to Auto mode and have done some benchmarks to see how the temp goes and how the noise level is. It’s near silent so far. My 2070 Super is definitely louder and I don’t hear the pump at all either which is awesome. Some AIO pump have an audible whine to them. Temps have stayed reasonable and low noise too. Having just a single wire to plug onto a header is invaluable as well. Others have as many as three. Very thoughtful design. This one is a keeper.

For what it costs it's a good AIO water cooler. Fantastically easy to install for anyone with even a bit of knowledge of how PCs work. The instruction book isn't worth the paper it's printed on, though. Nothing but pictures, almost no text at all. There are two things keeping this from a 5 star review:Number one is the included thermal paste application. It doesn't come close to covering the whole heat spreader on a Ryzen chip. Maybe Intel chips are smaller, but I was getting odd thermals with it. Replaced with Arctic Silver. The other complaint I have is the fans. They're not junk, but they're certainly not premium either. They're...ok. Not worth dinging a star for, but not a highlight of the product either.I replaced them with Noctua's industrial PWMs. I'm aware that this is a very price sensitive market, so again no star loss as they had to save money somewhere and I'd rather it be on the easily replaced parts than something like the pump. For the record, with stock fans R7 1700X 3.8GHZ at 1.3375 Volts after an hour of Prime95 showed 64c in Ryzen Master. The same chip at 3.5 showed 59c. Haven't had time to to a good burn with the Noctuas.

This cooler is working as advertised and keeping my system cool under pretty intense loads. I installed the cooler into a recent I8700k build along with an M.2 NVMe SSD, a GTX 1080 Ti GPU and some 4000 MHz RAM. I have the system overclocked and stable at 5.0 Ghz, and the system is at extreme loads when I run Prepard V4 along with other applications, and this cooler manages to keep the heat under control. My only complaint with the design is the length of the hoses that go from the fans and radiator set to the CPU cooler. As an enthusiast builder, my system is installed in a larger case with plenty of room for all these components to have ventilation room. Since I went with the larger three fan radiator,I would have expected the hoses to be longer. As it is, I could only install the radiator into my case in one direction, which was not the optimal direction. As it is now, the hoses are stretched almost too tight. That is my only issue with this cooler, and results may differ in different sized cases. Overall, I would definitely recommend this cooler.

I've purchased two S36 AIO's and I love them. The included fans are made specifically for the AIO and as such the cables will run a little weird off of it but they can be removed. As is, they run exceptionally well in comparison to all but the most enthusiast of fan brands. I replaced them with Noctua iPPC-3000 fans but even that may have been unnecessary considering how well designed the Fractal Design fans are.The AIO's built in fan hub takes the guess work out of routing each individual fan to your Mobo and retains the function of controlling them through PWM or allowing the cooler to adjust automatically (this is where it is weak)The auto settings do little until your system is already got and then it just runs as fast as possible until it drops below a set threshold with little to no fan curve in my experience. The heatsink is beautiful, sturdy and easy to place. I'd highly recommend this over.other gimmicky AIO's every time.

For the price will you pay for it to get AIO. Is easy to put on the case and it's basically 1 wire to connect to the motherboard. I live in Houston Texas so during the summer time it does get hot and humid. While the computer is idling it hovers around 35c+-. Wall under load playing video games it hovers high 40s low 50s. You can let it run at Auto for quite a performance or you can run it at pwm let the BIOS controlled the fan speed.the only thing I would say that some people would not like about this AIO is that it does not have RGB but given for the price point there are not that many areas that perform as good as this one at its price. Also this AIO can become a custom loop,YouTuber by the name of jayz2cents show you how to do it. So you don't have to buy the 360 to get better performance you can always add a reservoir thus adding more water to your system to have better cooling performance.

I ended up buying a Lian Li case recently without researching too much about it and ended up not being able to use my old air cooler so I went shopping the market for a good aio that will cool my 3900X. At first I went with an EVGA CLC 280 because I just love the evga customer service that you get. Unfortunately it was a little bit louder than my old Scythe Ninja 5 cooler and the temps were around the same so I ended up returning that one and stumbled upon the Fractal S36. The first selling point for me is how clean the wiring for the fans are and the fact that it only needs one header to control both the fan and the pumps was an amazing bonus.I have it on pull push config with the stock fractal fans and Lian Li fans.It keeps my 3900x at a chilly 35c on idle and barely breaks 60c under full load. This is it, the aio you’re looking for.

UPDATE: I was wrong. Ignore my original review. After replacing the cooler, the noise persisted. Turns out to be my PSU fan, the one fan I didn't test prior to replacing the cooler. My bad. Expensive mistake on my part. This cooler works fine then, since the noise wasn't coming from it.-=-=-=-I bought this to replace a LEPA water cooler I had previously which started to fail. This cooler's pump is noisy. It's a whirring noise that gets more obnoxious as it speeds up. I've tried all different configurations, PWM mode, bios changes, and nothing really quiets it up.I have it in a Fractal Define R5 case, which has pretty good noise dampening. I thought I would get used to the noise. I was wrong. The LEPA worked and was quiet, but didn't last more than a couple years. Think I'll go back to air coolers.

Outstanding 360 mm cooler design. Was able to OC my 6600K to 4.9 GHz/1.4v and kept it under 70C. I did replace the stock fans with Cougar CFD12HBB Blue LED's though. Don't worry, I didn't keep it at 4.9 GHz/1.4v, just wanted to see what I could do. Expandable loop design with standard fittings is unmatched in the industry. Hidden wires and a set of plugs on the radiator is a nice touch for cable management. The block head has a nice understated design and looks sleek in the case. Very quiet pump. IMO the best designed AIO's on the market and hands down the best 360mm AIO. Although the stock fans leave a bit to be desired IMO, as is with pretty much any AIO...

These are pretty great for cooling your rig. You can change from 2 modes: Auto = slower but quieter and PWM = louder but faster (meaning better cooling). This can be a good thing if you do not like to tweek with fan settings and all that, but also can be a negative if you do want to set the fan speeds to hit certain temps without blasting your fans faster than it really needs, which leads to louder PC configuration.I overclocked my 8700k to 4.9 using these with no issues at all. Generally, these are very quiet compared so some, such as the H100i (which I also use on anther rig).

Expandable AIO that spends resources on quality of build not whistles and bells. Disappointing that the next generation seems to have focused on the whistles and bells. I have mine installed in the front of a Fractal Define 7 push/pull. Temps under heavy load seldom exceed 42 degrees C with an overclocked (4.2) Ryzen 5 3600X with a more than tolerable sound level. The Prime x570 MOBO retains a green hue throughout all my work whether heavy music/video editing or moderate gaming. It replaced a Dark Rock pro 4 that was weighing heavily on my MOBO and CPU seat.

The liquid cooler is very competent from my testing, and very quiet: just a low-pitched hum of the pump and fans that's easy to tune out. The only major problem I had was the cooler expects you to still have the stock mounting backplate that came with your motherboard if you plan on using it for an AM4 socket CPU. I had discarded mine since I was using a different low-profile air cooler and expected this AIO to include all of the mounting hardware I'd need. If you do have that backplate, installing the cooler is a very straightforward and typical procedure.

I have bought three of these first one was totally used. it still works fine but I know it was used because no thermal paste. So bad on AMAZON for shipping out a used product as new. I'll also note the pwm feature is just weird! the one I got without paste seems to just like to be at 3000 rpm also no ability to adjust fans that I know of? keeps the pc cool tho so not bad. It is super quite as well! The hoses are a bit short for mounting in a front radiator position in some cases.

I absolutely love this cooler, using a r7 2700x at stock clocks it runs very cool at 50c while gaming. This was my first aio cooler and I was a little worried about the install process, but it's super easy and supports AM4 out of the box. The only downside for me is the fact that the fans make a slight buzzing sound due to vibration. There is a lot of vibration in my case though so It might be different for someone else who purchases this cooler. Overall would recommend.
