Playing this game is like sitting in your favourite chair smoking an enormous Cuban cigar with Mozart playing through your vinyl player. It's absolute bliss.My boss is utterly furious with me though. I didn't turn up to work today because I was steering Luton Town to League 1 at an absolute canter. 41 wins, 3 draws and 2 defeats, quite simply sensational.Unfortunately my FA Cup run never got going after an extremely embarrassing defeat to Borham Wood on pens in the 1st round. It didn't help when my GK got sent off in the first half for punching the referee (I thought this only happened in the old, and legendary, Championship Manager games!) Anyway, I fined all 14 players in the squad two weeks wages,

dont be put off by people saying they've over complicated it you soon get used to the changes and you can assign your assistant to anything you dont want to do. i never had 2017 but played 2016 loads 2018 is a big improvement ive just finshed my 1st season in the championship and won the title just getting ready for the prem now. the squad dynamics are an interesting thing but you can still sell the leaders and have a good season like i did so dont let that put you off either. theyve added data analyst and sports scientists etc but i like to try and find my own players with a little help from scouts here and there overall the match engine is a big improvement and its the best version ive played.

I am one of the biggest Football Manager fans out there. I have bought the game every year since 2001. The reason it only got four stars is purely because I came across difficulties with the game crashing a lot. It was actually very frustrating going through the forums and trying to resolve the problem. It also became clear that it is a pretty common problem with FM 2018. I persisted in trying to cure my beloved FM 2018, and now it runs perfectly with no crashes or problems. My advice is to make sure you check your computer specification is good enough to run the game, and all drivers are up to date. The gameplay actually seems a bit more challenging than usual but I like it that way.

Pretty similar as the previous version, however why change a winning formula. Best football management game thats ever been made. The addition and improvement of understanding personalities in the dreasing room is a challenge in itself.Just make sure you have lots of spare time to fully emerse yourself into the game ;) you have to eat and drink though...Update: Just finished season one with Liverpool. Was in contention of the league but fell away and finished fourth. Won both FA Cup and Carabao Cup.If you look on youtube, there's a video that shows you how to download the list of a 1000 wonderkids onto your shortlist. This potentially saves hours of time.

Last time I played this game was in 2010. Was expecting loads of new features. I wasn't let down one new features I found quite cool was you can design and adjust looks of your manager. Game is easy to set up need to have active Steam account. Buying selling playing still takes a while for a team to accept a offer. Took a while for me to actually have my first match of the season I actually won the match (Community Shield) one other features it showed is players celebriting and confetti all over the screen. I definitely recommend a must buy.

I personally don't think this is much of an improvement on FM 2017. I think in order to add more features, they have gone too far and made an enjoyable game a bit complicated for the general user. I don't want to individually train players or faff around with this or that, I just want to organise the team before and during matches, and buy & sell players - the rest is a bit unnecessary for me....but that's just me.

Before I bought this, I couldn’t find clear information about what is the difference between limited edition and standart one, but I think it was the poster I shared that limited edition included.Delivery was fast and smooth. Now I am installing the game, everything looks great. I can’t wait to make Galatasaray champion of the Champions League.

It is hard sometimes to justify the price for what is a yearly update, but with some downloaded mods I find the game thoroughly enjoyable. I tend to see most of the new features as worthless, but the core game is still fun and immersive. As long as you can turn off all the 'extras' like doing interviews I am happy.

It's been a while since I played a football manager game but from what I'd seen in terms of reviews and what the publisher had done with it made me want to get it and it's a from my experience of it so far as I'm just over half way through my first season is that it's a good game and very addictive aswell

Found the changes and game-play very good this year. Very interactive and easy to play. Some new additions that made the game better. Still think that there’s still improvement to be done to the game but not disappointed. As long as it keeps improving year on year then I will keep playing.

I've been out for a while - rubbish laptop meant I could no longer enjoy. New laptop fixed all that! I've been playing for a few weeks and still in pre-season as there is so much depth for me to get my head around! Love it. One for the fans. If you want a quick game go play FIFA

Well the game is superb in so many way tons of leagues so addictive it’s just so hard especially outside the top divisions, finding players is so hard now especially free agents, loans and there no consistency expect to beat the top teams then get hammered by a team rick bottom.

I dont have the best laptop in the world, but for football manager, it runs so amazing, the speed, the graphics, the realistic management style game, its got everything and you cant complain at that price!!! amazing value and true amazing deal !

This was a present for my son who normally plays games on his Xbox (FIFA etc) but this game which is for his laptop has got him hooked, he loves it. Apart from that the delivery and the price (less than half of an new Xbox game) were excellent.

Goods arrived on time, bought this as a Xmas present for my son, loaded onto his laptop easily and uses the game nearly every day, up to date stats, graphics excellent, nothing more to add.
