My Children love Shimmer and Shine and have been watching the programme on Nick Jr for a couple of years now. This doll may not appeal to everyone but it is bound to be popular with fans of the television show and my Daughter absolutely adores her.The show is about two Genies (Shimmer and Shine) and their human friend Leah who is granted wishes by them during each episode, usually with funny results and a good lesson to be learnt.This doll is the Genie Shimmer who has pink hair and blue eyes. The doll is small in comparison to a standard Barbie sized doll but as she is intended for children aged over 3 years old she is perfect for small hands.

To begin with it is quiet a small toy so I would advise that you shouldn't give this to any child under 4, it's not delicate that the limbs will detach but a chance that will very rough play parts will come off and end up in mouths of very young children.Having said that it is a fun toy, you can style the hair a little bit and some of the clothes do come off so there is some scope of playing with the style of the doll without having lots of parts to keep track of. It's bright shiny and while it doesn't stand up on its own most little girls under 5 or 6 will love it due to the hair, clothes and bright colourful design.It's quite a "squat" doll in the Westernised anime style ( big head,

This is a very pretty doll, it's a fairly small set, the doll measures 6 inches and comes with a comb shaped like her pet tiger (not included) and some sparkle stickers.The doll itself is nice and chunky, has gorgeous blue hair you can comb and I love the look of these, they're very cute with their big pretty eyes.My daughter is a fan of the series so was pleased to receive one and enjoys playing with her, naturally she now wants me to buy all of them for her!These are currently priced at £9.99 which for one smallish doll I thought was a tad overpriced - it's a lovely set but just doesn't look the money - I'd buy more of them personally if they were around £6.99 each OR I'd pay the £9.99 if

So many cartoons, so little time. One that my child has taken notice of is 'Shimmer and Shine' a slightly cloying, yet harmless, cartoon about two young Genies who help out a little girl. This Shimmer doll is a high quality tie in toy to the series and will be an instant hit with any fan of the show.I see this as a doll for a child who may still be a little too young for Barbie. Shimmer represents the character from the show well with her oversized head so that she is a little cuter and shorter than a bog standard doll. The toy is well made from robust plastic and the hair in her ponytail can be brushed with the provided comb. You may want to think about purchasing one or two friends or accessories as the pack here is a little light on things to do,

For those that don’t know who Shimmer and Shine are, there characters which are on Nickelodeon Jr.The figure is Shine, who is a courageous and confident genie who is always ready with witty words of wisdom. She's spunky, bold and loves animals, especially her pet Bengal Tiger cub, NahalThe Doll is 6 inches or 15.2cm, which isn’t very big, she is nicely detailed and comes with special gem stickers and a comb shaped like NahalI don’t think its badly priced at just under £9, there are a few in the collection, some do seem very expensive.Shine comes in a blister pack, the type you’d see hanging from a rack.I’m sure this will be loved by many little ones,

I am still a bit put off by the exceptionally large head in proportion to her body. This Shimmer is the non talking smaller version.Shimmer has big blue eyes and a green jewelled Bindi.Made by Fisher Price she is sturdy and and has limbs that can be moved so she can sit or stand and you can move her arms too.She comes with her own hair comb and stickers.My youngest granddaughter is very taken with her and will possibly want to own more of the dolls. They come in a set. Other dolls in the series can sing, move, ride a magic carpet.I like her purple outfit and gold bangles. She has matching purple slippers.Shimmer is a reasonable price as I write,

With attractive large eyes and long, blue, soft and silky hair, this hard-bodied doll is really quite attractive. She has removable cuffs, silky turquoise-coloured trousers and gold-coloured, plastic slippers. This doll comes with the rather less desirable accessories of a cheap plastic comb and a genie-shaped paper bottle with some stickers.I like the fact that the the doll can sit unaided and her arms move at the shoulder points.This doll is small (6 inches) and retails for £8.80 (Amazon November 2018). If your child enjoys ‘Shimmer and Shine’ and uses her imagination when playing with dolls in general, then this doll will be truly loved.

The 'Shimmer and Shine DLH57 Doll, Multi-Colour, 6-Inch' is a cute little bobble-head (in terms of size, not wobbliness!) doll with pretty blue hair and a couple of accessories including a hair comb. The doll is not a character I am familiar with, but has Nickelodeon branding so must be from a TV series, and looks to have some Arabic influence in her dress and accessories. Made by Fisher Price, this is a good quality doll, and my little friend was delighted with her (her hair is not so neat now, it must be said!)Sweet little doll, ideal for girls who like to play with their doll's hair.

From the childrens TV show 'Shimmer & Shine', this Shine doll is approximately 6 inches high, has moveable arms and legs and comes wears her striking satin outfit just like on the show. She also has her own tiger comb, so that her beautiful, electric blue pony tail can be combed and kept looking nice.This doll is part of the larger 'Shimmer & Shine' collection so she has friends and accessories that can be bought later or at the same time. Hours of fun and a great present for someone who is a fan of the show!

Beautiful bright, colourful doll from the Shimmer & Shine collection by Fisher price. My daughter watches the animation every morning on tv so she was thrilled with this Shimmer doll.She stands at approximately 6 inches tall, her arms and legs are moveable.She has a luscious bright pink long ponytail that you can brush with a comb that is included in the box. It also comes with some lovely jeweled stickers. Her shoes, trousers & cuffs are removable.I can see us having to buy shine to complete the set.

Shimmer and Shine DLH57 Shine Doll, Multi-Colour, 6-Inch is a small doll which our little girl loves to play with as she is able to put them into her doll's house. She loves the bright coloured outfit, her favourite part of the doll is the blue hair as she loves to comb it and think's the blue hair is so cool and different from any other doll she has received.It is one doll which is unique in style and design. It is accompanied by a couple of accessories which adds to the fun of it.Happy to recommend.

This is a lovely little doll although her larger than life head and big staring eyes kind of take any sweetness away from doll. Comes in a blister pack so is obvious right away. She has very beautiful long blue hair which can be combed and comb is supplied. Her clothes are genie styled pants and shoes There is also an ornately decorated genie bottle. I like this doll and think it great for little hands to hold. There is not too many little bits and pieces which often get lost. My 3 year old will love it

Cute little doll from the Shimmer and Shine series of dolls. She's only about 7 inches tall but she is very brightly coloured....as the name suggests I suppose. Looks just like the Amazon picture. One of our grand children will be getting her for Christmas. The one that collects dolls, not the one that plays rugby. The doll appears very well made. Though I wouldn't let very a young child have it as some of her accessories are of a size a baby for example might accidentally swallow. Fairly priced too.

Shimmer and Shine is very popular in our household with my 4 year old daughter, so she really adores this doll.This one is the Shimmer doll, which is 6” in height and comes dressed in her bright and shimmery genie outfit and removable shoes and bangles. The doll also comes complete with a hair comb and sticker gems. My daughter loves combing her long pink ponytail.I would recommend to anyone with a shimmer and shine obsessed child, I can guarantee they won’t be disappointment
