This is a great expansion to an already great game. The story alone offers around 50-60 hours of content alone and this is before you reach level 60 and begin gearing up and taking on the rest of the games content. The visuals are still amazing and is easily the best looking and sound MMO i have ever played.Not only is the story great, and carrys on well from A realm reborn, with the added 10 levels added to each class and being able to level every class on 1 character, that gives you a further 220 levels to acquire on all of the classes available.For those looking to start this MMO i highly recommend it, though you will need to purchase A realm reborn before you can play Heavensward.8MGG2FNY - is a recruitment code for any new player.

Long time World of Warcraft player here, quitting after the disasters of Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor expansion.Tried all the other MMOs - Tera, Rift, Guild Wars and ESO to fill the voidI was put off getting FFXIV because i'm not a big anime fan (which makes me the odd one out playing this game it seems) but I did enjoy the earlier Final Fantasy games so I took a shot with it and was pleasantly surprised.It can be a bit cheesy but it grows on you. And the voice acting has improved so much in this expansion!Can definitely see myself becoming a long time FFXIV: Realm Reborn player.They've also added the ability to fly in Heavensward so your character can have their own personal Airship!

The first expansion pack to Square's Final Fantasy XIV since its dramatic relaunch two years ago - well worth it.Brings flying mounts, huge (i mean huge) multi-tiered zones and environments, 1 new city state: Ishgar 8 new dungeons, 3 new Job classes that start at lv30 so can run them in low level 2.0 dungeons straight out the box.More dungeons and raids to be added during its patch cycle (every 3 months).A definite buy if your playing FFXIV, should be noted that in order to access Heavensward content you need to have finished the Main Storyline of A Realm Reborn upto and including patch 2.5 due to the intense storyline/lore driven nature of this game and the world it draws.

Fantastic game and I'm still playing with Stormbloods release (the latest expansion). The game draws you in with great story, music, characters and lore. Playing with real people online to save a world at risk really creates a sense of urgency and importance for you as a character. I personally don't see it as a downside, as the game is always being updated and maintained well, but there is a monthly subscription that may be off putting for some. I would however suggest trying it out, it can be slow in the beginning, but picks up pace and I doubt you'll be disappointed.

The expansion we players have all been waiting for and it didn't disappoint, there is so much new content, new maps (Ishgard is open finally!), loads of new side and story missions and finally we get to level up past 50, to 60, and as a bonus we teach our chocobos to fly.. (The collectors edition gives a lovely flying mount free). I have played since 1.0 and this was the one we all eagerly awaited. I'd strongly urge people to take the time to try this. This is an expansion so you need the Realm Reborn to play it.

FFXIV has managed to transform itself from a flawed nightmare during it's release year to what is now one of the best MMO's you can play. A beautiful world, broad gameplay diversity, interesting systems and mechanics and a decent community make this an excellent experience full of nostalgic Final Fantasy references and tropes. There is a reason that this is one of the few MMOs still surviving under a subscription payment model, it's worth every penny/dime/gil.

One of the greatest MMORPG's in the last couple of years, this game is the newest expansion of FFXIV releasing today.Highly recommended purchase at this price for any FFXIV player.FFXIV: AAR released almost 2 years ago and has been growing in playerbase ever since, now outshining most MMORPG's in its class.Be aware though this version does not support an update of your steam version of FFXIV, steam users need to purchase Heavensward via steam.

FFXIV is a great MMO to start off with, the additions in Heavensward are more of the same greatness, the new additions to the job system along with the beauty that is Ishgard make this easily worth it. And the PC version is very well priced in comparison to certain other MMOs.

Fantastic game, since the remake they've made it a bit more like FFXI but with incredible graphics for it's time. Still one of my favourite games to date, have never stopped my subscription as I keep going back for more! And see myself playing for a long time to come.

An outstanding MMO, I was skeptical to try it after playing 1.0 originally but ARR and Heavensward have fixed the issues and turned this game into a real pleasure to play. The gameplay is vastly improved and the graphics are superb.

becomming bettereach update,but definately needs a better story adventures similar to ffxi.That said its a great game which is still in its infancy yet,so lots of time to better ffxi.

Cheaper than buying the code anywhere, and the boxart is cool. Be careful if you have the steam version, as the code won't work for you.5/5 Saved me £20

Must have addition to the FFXIV;ARR MMO, which imo, is probably the best one currently out there, great graphics and a friendly community.
