Place of purchaseI got this on a special offer from a 'orange' supermarket. It was on offer, and despite my logitech mouse stating that it could work on all surfaces, it didn't seem to like 'damp wood' or a Food placemat. I therefore decided after years of not having (or needing to have one) a mouse mat, to take the plunge.The reason I went for round as opposed to the 'standard' rectangle was because it would not be as cumbersome in the limited space that I have (neatness and me are not generally put together in a sentence).Mouse that the mat is needed forI have a Logitech M510 mouse, with a 'unifying' connection, the reason I give this information is not to 'show off',but just to point out that it was this mouse that caused me to need a mouse mat, the mouse I had before was a Microsoft blue-track (an incident with liquid, sort of stopped that working (can't work out why :)), so I got this, they are both optical (bluetrack just a different variant on optical) mice therefore should in theory work on any surface. This didn't I don't know whether it was the set-up of the receiver with the computer or whether it was because the 'wood mouse mat' was damp or whether it just needed a mouse mat to work sufficiently.Is it any good?In answer to the above, yes it works with my mouse perfectly (if anything maybe a tiny bit too sensitive (some people I guess or never satisfied), but it glides and doesn't 'zone out' at all (though admittedly I have only been using it for around 10 minutes, at the time this review was written). It is 80% recycled according to the packaging but it seems to me well made, of rigid material that I presume (given the fairly high price if sold at that price) will last a while. Others have mentioned the logo perhaps 'hampering' the use of the mouse, I personally have not seen that as any issue. It fits neatly onto the work surface and does not slide but stays firmly where it is (though I have got my Food place-mat on top so that probably adds a further bit of rigidity. Also the mat is 'wipe clean' so if there is any spillages etc or it, it should (in theory) be relatively easy to clean.The design is cute for about 10 seconds (I mean in all honesty who buys a mat for the design when you are not really going to be seeing that much of it), but overall I feel that this was a good purchase and will hopefully last me for a good while.I would certainly recommend it (though at the time of writing if you go to aforementioned 'orange' supermarket you will find it a 2 and half pounds cheaper than the current Amazon selling price.Why not 5 stars!At the RRP I would say the mouse mat is not worth the money, if however you can get it at a discounted price then I would say it is worth the money. Also the mat for some people maybe slightly to sensitive when used in conjunction with your particular mouse (so you may need to alter the settings or not be as 'heavy-handed), either way both these two relatively minor points mean that this does not quite get the full 'five stars'.

I agree that these are a little on the small side, my first brite mat was the old rectangle style/size, and it was perfect.When I broke it and went to buy a replacement, I could only find the new circle shape.This size is pretty good and portable for using with a laptop, though, and I find it is usually large enough.Other than the size I think these mats are great, I like to use them on the couch when I am using my mouse with my laptop, they're perfect as they are firm and sturdy unlike the traditional mouse mat.They say they are virtually indestructable under normal use, which I agree is probably true, however, I've managed to break two buy putting pressure on it when it was on a soft surface (couch),this was obviously my own fault, My first lasted for ages when it was used on a desk, I seem to remember that the image label started to peel eventually, but this may have been after I'd cracked it.

I bought this mouse mat because I was having problems with a mat with detailed picture that made the cursor jump a lot on the screen as it read the images on the mat. This is a vast improvement for an optical mouse. It's hard and inflexible, which surprised me as most mouse mats are soft and pliable, but it's excellent and does the job well. My only gripe is the size. I could do with it being a bit bigger! I use a large Logitech optical mouse with trackball for the thumb as I have wrist problems on a smaller mouse. It takes up a lot of the mat and doesn't leave much room for movement but it is an excellent design and has eradicated the problems I was having previously.A good buy and a reasonable price.

A circular mouse pad, approx 198 x 198 x 2 cm, that feels a little stiff and wouldn't bend without splitting or tearing. The surface feels a little bit rough which could be down to Fellowes using 80% recycled products in their manufacturing. Surface is wipe clean and the back is non-slip. Haven't had a problem using my mouse on the pad but it doesn't feel quite as smooth and flexible as others I've owned. As for the graphics; I bought the pad for the goldfish bowl design because it looks great on Amazon. The reality is good but not quite as bright and sharp as I expected. Functional, cheerful and attractive item and the circular design makes a nice change from my normal square/oblong mousepads.

This circular mouse mat is hard and fairly inflexible, with a wipe clean surface and a non skid backing; it seems to stick fairly well to my laminate-topped desk without moving and my mouse tracks smoothly and evenly across. It stacks up well in terms of providing the basics that you want from a mat.The goldfish bowl design is somewhat marred by the Fellowes logo, which is prominently displayed on the front (not shown on the product picture currently displayed on site, so I have added a photograph); it detracts a little from what would otherwise be a very attractive and serviceable mat. 10/10 for function and 7/10 for looks, so 4/5 overall.

I ordered this mouse mat with trepadation after reading the reviews on the poor stability on the desk of the mat. I was expecting the mat to move about the desk when in use, but was so pleased upon receiving this to find it stays in place.Yes you can make it move if you are heavy handed with it, but under normal use it stays put. Its good as I like to be able to reposition the mat on the desk as I grow tired of one position and with a harder push you can. However under normal mouse use it stays where you leave it.Looks wise its beautiful and with a fantastic price I can recommend this to anyone.

I needed to buy a new mouse pad, because my old one was on its way out! So I had a mooch on Amazon and came across this one, which would be ideal as I have a optical mouse. The quality is alot better, very attractive in design and brightens up my desk. When creating movements with the mouse, it kind of 'flows' over the surface and when selecting anything on screen, its quite precise. The pick up wasn't that good with the old mouse mat made from fabric, so buying this one has certainly solved that problem. Also easy to clean as well. A recommended buy.

I couldn't see the size listed in the description for this, so I looked at a similar mat and guessed it would be the same. It wasn't. This mat is 20cm diameter - the smallest mouse mat I've had. Having said that, I find I can move anywhere on my screens (I have 2 monitors) and not fall off the edge of the mat. My last mat was a Brite Mat too and it lasted me years - they are way better than other mats I've tried. I would have given this 5 stars, but for the lack of the size under the description.

I got the "orange" style, I love the shape, size, and material, and I have no problem with it sliding around.It's really very pretty, but my only problem with it is the Fellowes logo it has on the front, which is NOT shown on the preview and somewhat spoils the effect.For that reason I can't give this a 5 star review, and I hope they update the preview pictures so other people aren't disappointed by this.

Item was received as described and extremely fast shipping. Comparing it to other sites I had been on, this one was by far the cheapest and indeed from the same manufacturer, so I made sure I was getting the real deal and not a replica mouse mat. Overall a great buying experience, good price and super fast shipping.

Our previous cheap mouse pad fell apart after a few months so we needed a replacement. This one works great which we were quite surprised about as we had never had a hard shiny surfaced one before and it looks cute! It would be easier to clean too rather than our previous soft flexible mouse pad. Would recommend.

I fell for the looks of this mat, being given a mix of nuances of pink, as she loves pink, it will not feel all that boring as many product with only one color. Touch of the surface is as expected. Size is just right.Sent for me in no time, also if i am in the northern part of Europe.Very pleased.

I got this as a gift and it arrived this morning. I have a very old Logitech MX laser mouse and this new mouse mat is excellent. I like that it is small as I have a small desk and small hand to operate it. My last square mouse mat died and was too big for my desk. I recommend it.

Beautiful, practical mousemat...promotes mouse use and enhances precision. Very colourful and ergonomic. The fellowes logo on the bottom of the mouse mat or "fish tank" does not annoy me at all as it has with some reviewers. I am thinking of buying another for my laptop bag.

Does the job and looks good in our new kitchen. Only complaint would be that the base is shiny and slips on our kitchen work top, so have to hold with other hand every now and again. Could do with a rubber base or something similar. So minus 1 star just for that.
